Corbin is absolutely amazing at the obstacle course. I have been trying to face my fear of water activities and unfortunately I fell and couldn t get myself back up. He kindly assisted me and ultimately saved my life. You are truly a blessing & I thank you WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGAIN !

It was hot; burned my feet. Wasnt even a life guard on the set. Multiple kids got stuck and it was hard to get up in places. The rules say dont go under the course but if you got stuck in places there was no other choice then to go under or had someone pull you up.

Soooo fun!! My boyfriend and I went to the adult only night and we had a great time! It is definitely harder than it looks but so worth it! The bar is right next to it as well so we were able to take a break, get some drinks and go back out. It was a great time and I would highly recommend!

You guys really need to speed the cable up. You re going to run off the people who actually ride because we want new people to get into the sport. That s fine but the kids on knee boards aren t your core customer. You need to maintain your rails and reset them. This place used to be great but the lack of maintenance is something you should be embarrassed of. Also 2 hour cable set should start from the moment you buy your pass like every other cable in the country. You re not so poorly staffed that you can t accommodate this. Do better hydrous!

We ran around the obstacle course for a few hours and had a great time. Pros: no lifeguard telling you not to do dangerous things Fun obstacles Right by a tavern Cons: lifeguard sits in the shade paying zero attention. I pulled distressed young kids out of the water four times in an hour when they got stuck. Still, I had a great time.

Overall fun cable experience. Only issue was paying for 2 hrs of wakeboarding and for some reason they were having trouble with the cables. So a solid 30 min was the staff taking care of the cables and everyone just sitting and waiting. Friendly staff fun environment just would like to get my moneys worth. It was multiple times this happened throughout the 2 hrs and there were about 15+ ppl waiting.

Aqua side was fun for me and my son until i start getting tired so I got out the water and watched my 8year enjoy hisself he then got tired and fell in and couldn t get hisself back up and asked for help they have a supervisor that s there to help yet he told me he wasn t a life guard and that wasn t his job so I jumped in the water no life vest and went and glhelp my child get back on while he rest to get out the water I will not be returning here nor recommending this place until I have clarity that someone is there to help you when in need

Summer camp has been really fun for my 11 y/o and they have a nice patio with a breeze so you can sit and watch. Level of instruction has varied greatly depending on who s working, but my daughter has gotten the hang of it just from a week of practice. They also go on the inflatable floating playground every day and it looks like so much fun! We will be coming back for more.

I think this is my 1st negative post about one of our adventures. . On Saturday we went to Hydrous - Lake Lewisville for a private 2 hour wakeboarding class. We were supposed to be in a private training area with a coach for 2 hours. We arrived and a nice young man helped us get set up with life jackets, boards and helmets. He then took us to a shelter area by the lake. We were by ourselves for a few minutes while he very briefly went over how to wakeboard. The line was getting longer to get on the cables so we just followed along not really knowing what we were doing. We were instructed a little more as we were waiting for our turn to connect to the cable and the other line of mostly very experienced guys were within a couple feet of us. The 1st few of us that went out did not know what to do when we fell. It was a little scary floating around in the lake trying to get back to shore with guys zipping around. The people that work there are very nice but I am disappointed we did not get the experience we paid for. Some of the ladies only tried it a couple times and one just left as we got started. It was a lot more difficult than we imagined but could possibly have been made a little easier with the right instruction. It was an adventure but not one I will be planning again for our group.

It s a nice place with very good experience, The staff staff training new clients seems nice and worn give up till the clients are happy and actually able to surf. Not the same case with the girls working inside the shop. They either didn t help or don t really understand everything about wakeboards. My main issue with the park is the dirty water that don t seem to ever be changed or recycled. The water is stinky (not sure if it s coz of the chemicals they might be using) but it s a great turn off. You can smell the stench of it from meters away from the main hydrous park.

Awesome group of guys over here at Hydrous in Little Elm. I was speaking with Brett about the park and the features of the park and he was very informative and eager to answer questions about everything from safety equipment to each obstacle out on the water! The other staff where super rad in helping out everyone there especially on the cable getting guys riding on the water within a few trys everytime! Water was nice and warm couldnt ask for a better spot to shred a little

We had a great birthday party today. 5 boys ages 9-12. They had a coach and all but one got up on the wakeboard. Then they did the lake kneeboarding and it was even more fun. Finally the water Park was a perfect place to wind down before cake. We ll be back!

Sorry to say this was a big disappointment and kind of a safety hazard. We were really looking forward to this. Our kiddo is 7 and the Aqua Park definitely seemed her speed. Well, they dont have water spraying the floats so she went down the slide and BURNED herself. Not like kind of. Like bad. Like dry hot plastic burn. Knowing my child, I thought she may be exaggerating a bit so I went down and she was not at all. Now were both burned. The other kids are all huddled in one area of the whole course bc the rest is too hot to use. $18 per person. I told the life guard and he didnt seem to care. Dont waste the money. We unintentionally paid 60 bucks to swim in yucky water.

My sons and I had watched others do this multiple times from Hula Hut and finally gave it a try ourselves. It was a blast! The two hour session was more than enough for.me but the boys could have gone all day. The staff was extremely helpful providing alive and wanted to make sure we all really enjoyed the experience. It cam be a challenge if you have never wake boarded before but they also have knee boards so you can get the hang of it. They have a deal with a 10 session punch card and if you enjoy it Id highly recommend it as it will definitely save you some money. My boys and I had a blast and cant wait to go back!

My girls and their friend ages 7, 9 and 9 had a blast spending 2 hours climbing all over the obstacles. The parents enjoyed food and drinks on the outdoor patio at Taphouse overlooking the course. The course was a good value for the price. All participants are required to wear life jackets which are supplied at no additional charge by Hydrous. They seem to rotate the life guards frequently. I watched one life guard spend at least 20 minutes in his tower on his cell phone, rarely looking up at the water. His absolute lack of attention is why I gave the venue 2 stars. I would give it a higher rating for value/fun/cleanliness if they were to fix the safety issue with the life guards. We did not participate in the wake board portion of the park.

First off, this area of the wake park is for younger kids, like 10yrs old at best. The obstacles are tiny sized. Secondly, the water is putrid. There is no other way of describing it. A dank man- made pool of what seems to be stagnant water. Dont fall for it, even with a Groupon all that can be gained is your family begging for a shower.

My kid and I loved this place. Neither one of us had ever wake boarded before but we thought we would give it a try. This concept rocked because there was no pressure to jump out there and start doing tricks right of the bat. The staff recommended we try two hours in the twos where we could try to stand up and do turns. It took us a couple of times landing on various parts of our bodies but by the end of it we were both able to stand up for quite some time. The staff was very patient and encouraging. My kid is not the kind to keep at things after failing, but she said afterwards that she couldnt wait to go back. She was even confident that after only one more time on the twos that she would be ready for the big one. Were going back very soon.

This is a great place for a fun and different date, for a family with kids, or just to watch. There is a walking path around Hydrous towards Beard Park. Its a short but pleasant walk for all ages. Its great to watch the wakeboarders even if you dont participate. Its even more fun to wakeboard. It was great my young daughter went to the kids section and my older son went to the area with the ramps and what not it was great I could see both and everything was well organized and well priced forgot to run sunscreen we regretted that till we saw they sold some we bought some for like 2$ It was great

Great concept, but needs some serious TLC to be great in practice. The water in all three ponds was disgusting. We left feeling absolutely gross. The equipment was pretty up for what it cost.. Lastly, they really need to put down some sort of grip tape or something on the stairs leading out of the water by the entrance deck. There is so much algae and crud, the wood is hella slippery. I slipped and fell, and really banged myself up good trying to go up those stairs after getting our of the water. I get it that they make you sign a liability release, but damn. At least try and make things safe. It really ruined my day there. I dont think we are going to go back. There are much better things to do around DFW for the same price.

Never going here again. Its a joke and SO NOT worth the money. Water is gross and smells really bad, even the little kids there comment on how much it stinks. The staff is way to young to know what the definition of work actually is and it shows. They are not helpful or professional at all. The so-called lifeguards just sit there, even when kids call for or need help. None of the staff care at all here. Staff said there are showers but they do not work and the bathrooms are horrible! This place just takes your money and you are on your own. Save yourself the time and money and pass this place up! Just keep on going otherwise, you will see for yourself what Im talking about.

Fun place to bring a group. We spent $300 for 2.5 hours for a group of 9. This included private wakeboarding lessons on a smaller lake, access to the aqua park (kids lake filled with bouce house like toys), & the main wakeboarding lake. You can bring your own cooler and relax on the grassy banks of the lake. Only 3 stars due to very slow check in process, minimal help at lifejacket and wakeboard distribution hut, and inexperienced staff. Overall we would return as the pros outweighed the cons.

My kids have a blast. They had to do the trainging cable for the first 2 times we went. My 13 year got it down. My 10 year old still has a tough time. He likes the obstacles course area. And it only cost 15 bucks for a couple of hours... Enough time for me to go to the tap house Next door to grab a drink. The kids have to wear a life vest any time theyre in the water and the vest are always provided for no addinal cost. The staff is friendly. We try to go as often as possible.

Very friendly service! Fill out your waivers online to expedite the sign in process. It was my first time wake boarding and our instructor was awesome! Lots of fun!

Operators are nice. One of them let me borrow his personal wakeboard. Owner is cool. They are helpful with my kids. Update. I have been going there for about 3 years now. I just came back from there just now. Had a great time. Im so glad that there is a wakeboard Park in our area.

The hydrous wake park is made of a large circle of water to ski board on.it looks over the lake. There are ramps you ski up yet you hold on to a cable above your head and it pulls you around the body of water.theres a place attached to the park called the tap house that serves food and alcohol with inside/outside seating.sometimes a band on the weekends.

First time at a cable park, it was awesome! went on a Friday afternoon in early November and had one other rider there so they were able to give tips. Landed a 360 off the kicker. They had plenty of obstacles to hit and they were super nice. Good vibes! rented board, jacket, helmet for reasonable price
