Most of the food was great. The queso was not good to me or my family. We usually do home cooked meals, well the rest of the food we sampled was good. They had a buffet with several types of enchiladas all of which had a good taste and meat was good as well..

Average... I dont know what I was expecting when most of the stuff on the menu is at the buffet. The place is decorated but just random stuff everywhere not themed by any means. Enchiladas meat was ok, not as much meat as I would have expected. Beans and rice were good Taco meat - spicy! Good flavor though. Beef quesadilla - good size, but no flavor unless you load it with the sour cream, guac, tomato and lettuce that it comes with. As for the childs meal... After eating and reading the buffet small print 3yrs and under are free with a paying adult. The hostess was supposed to tell us as well as give us a small plate not the waitress/waiter. I was disappointed because the hostess seemed disconnected, very nice but should know to ask a childs age prior to sitting. I did speak with someone and since we ordered it off the ninos menu we couldnt take it off like itd be the buffet because we were not informed. The nice gentleman I spoke with gave us a smidge of a discount which was nice and much appreciated because of the miscommunication. The DRINKS were the best part! Sangria swirl and strawberry daiquiri had great flavor and packed a punch This is PRIMARILY a buffet place so if thats what youre looking for you can get a taste for almost everything that is offered on the menu. But... The waitress that we had was on top of her game even though she was going to each section of the restaurant for her tables, but did phenomenal.

Absolutely fantastic Tex-Mex! Cafeteria style Mexican food with 5 different, common types of enchiladas that were all full of flavor. Along with tacos and all the trimmings and burritos. For those who are not into Tex-Mex, there is also American food on another warmer line along with Blackberry cobbler and peach cobbler and an ice cream machine to add that little extra touch. The waitress keeps your drinks full, and you empty plates taken away.

Food was hot, tasted ok. We were one of three customers there. Waitress got the order wrong, but people make mistakes & she made it right. My only complaint was the price for one enchilada lunch . $20+ seemed a bit excessive, but I guess thats inflation.

This was our 1st time here as we are here from Minnesota visiting our friends but my goodness the food was top notch. We had the amazing margaritas which were great. Lastly Cameron was our server and she was amazing...professional yet very personable. She made us some us some Mango margaritas and it was the best weve ever had...and weve had a bunch Seriously though we really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Cameron your the best.

Buffet is dried out. No guacamole. Menu does not have any Ala carte items listed. Waitress asked if we wanted chips and salsa. Of course! We are in a Mexican restaurant! Then we had to request chips for another table in our large group. Never offered refills on alcoholic drinks or chips. We had to put down a deposit for a group, and were told if the amount of persons stated didnt show up, a percentage of the deposit would be withheld. Cashier was quite snippy. Waitress was not pleasant. I will not be going back. I think most of of our party feels the same.

We were a large group of senior citizens on our weekly excursion to dinner. We had to sign a contact and put up 25.00 deposit before the date . Only after we got there we were told only 3 or 4 could order from the menu, the rest had to get the buffet. The wait for the food that was ordered was over 45 minutes. The food in the buffet was dried out and very plain tasting. A few people got sick after eating there. The manager, and cashier were extremely rude to all of us. Very disappointing experience. We were told if all of our party did not show up, we would forfeit a part of the deposit. They couldn t find the contract. I don t think this will be on our list of restaurants for our group to gather for dinner again.

Me and my cousin love to go here on our girls lunch! We usually get seated in the bar and the waiter there (Im not sure of his name) but man his customer service is out of this world! Great food at reasonable prices for a buffet and a budget. Food tastes authentic and served in a great atmosphere. My favorite was the real chicken fajita strips with good ol fashioned chargrill marks, they were thick and juicy! Sopapillas served for dessert were great as well! Take a trip with the family and go home happy and full. Vegetarian options: Not many options, but there are some. Kid-friendliness: Booster seats and a young wait staff. Wheelchair accessibility: Right up front.

Food was excellent, waitress was working her butt off, but did exceptionally well taking care of us. Atmosphere was very pleasant! Its okay. Mexican buffet and menu service. We had the buffet that offers enchiladas, beans, rice, chicken fajitas, tortillas, tacos, salsa bar, as well as a few kid friendly American type selections such as mini corn dogs. I was excited about the fajitas, but that chicken is as bland as can be. Its literally no flavor at all. The enchiladas ate good. They had ground beef, cheese, and chicken enchiladas. The beans and rice were acceptable but nothing special. The salsa bar has nice offerings if they manage to keep it stocked. They offer navhos on the buffet, but no queso. They have ceiling fans in the dining room that are turned up so high that they literally chill your food before you can finish it. I had to ask 4 times to have it turned down. The only saving grace was a tasty margarita. Overall, we were mostly disappointed and would not recommend.

This is Mexican food served on an all you can eat buffet, so Im good with it not being the absolute best Mexican food Ive ever had. That being said, it is still pretty good. I am particularly fond of their enchiladas... I probably had eight during my last visit. They have tortilla chips, toco shells, tostada shells, too meat, and all the fixings to make your ideal toco or taco salad... actually, listing everything they have would be too exhausting. They do have kid friendly choices on the buffet as well, but have removed their ice cream machine for some reason. The waiters and waitresses are right on top of the drinks. The music and decore feel perfect for the food. I just love coming here, even though I can no longer eat near as much as I once could. There is no reason to leave without being full. They keep the buffet well stocked with a wide variety of food. I always like to come right when the buffet starts or during a rush, so I can not vouch for how fresh it is at other times. Sopapillas are by request only, which does mean they are always fresh.

Been wanting to try this place for a while but havent until now due to their limited hours. Im giving 3 stars because the service was good. You know that feeling of youre hungry. however you dont know what you want? Well El Mexicano will take care of that. Walk on in and get greeted with a smile and a hows it going? ? Beautiful day and follow me please. Youve got time to sit and get situated before asked what youd like to drink. Drinks arrive and the atmosphere is already feeling good. Extra questions including if you would like lemon or lime with your beer or cream with your coffee is a bonus. No one wants to ask for these little extras. Buffet or menu is a plus. Empty plates are removed quickly if youve enjoyed their plethora of dishes. There is also cookies and ice cream along with sopapillas. Ohmygoodness. So good. You will not leave hungry. Parking: Plenty of parking spaces. Wheelchair entrance easy to use. Double space for vans with side exits. Kid-friendliness: Children are welcome and there is a selection of food just for little ones not ready for the adult tastes.
