She will throw you the client under the bus if it means helping herself. She is self serving above all else . I regret using her now. She is either a blatant liar or for some reason confused. Misrepresented me in motions saying I asked her to file them. She refused to admit her mistakes and continues to put herself first. Not only a bad sign for an attorney but also unethical and illegal behavior. I am filing complaints with Texas. She was given the chance to rectify this but instead of fixing it she filled more motions and a court date even. It is bad enough to lose a family member to death but to them pay a lot of money to be humiliated and lied to on public record? Find another attorney.

I had a very pleasant experience with the service of all of the staff at the law office. They were very professional and courteous from start to finish. They helped my father with preparation of his estate plan, including a Transfer on Death Deed, Medical Power of Attorney and Durable Power of Attorney. I called simply to find out about a real estate tax problem I had and if she handled those kinds of cases. For my particular issue, she did not take on those kinds of cases, however, Mrs. Benavides herself made it a point to take some time with me over the phone and provide me with some details, tips, and information that could help me with my case. Then she referred me me to someone that could take on my case. She did not have to take any time with my question since I was just calling to get general information. I got a whole lot more. I was referred to Mrs. Benavides Law Firm by a family member. I bought a property in a Mobile Home Park with Covenants and By Laws. I was told by the realtor before I purchased my property that I could have a family member move in with me if they were 18 or older. I am single and dont have children. I recently had my nephew move in with me due to having a medical issue that required constant monitoring, per my physician. I am functional, but still need monitoring. Approximately four (4) months after my nephew moved in with me, I was approached by the Mobile Home Park Manager and was told that I was not allowed to have anyone living with me unless they were immediate family members, meaning spouse or children. I reached out to Cynthia and sent her a copy of the covenant. Per Mrs. Benavides, after reviewing the covenant, the Park Manager was correct. I informed Mrs. Benavides of my medical condition and she advised me on what steps I needed to take to move forward. She gave me excellent advice and I would definitely recommend her to anyone that needs a good honest lawyer that I believe would work in their best interests without financially gouging them.
