The Pappas family created a restaurant with a small town feel but big city accommodations. The seats are comfy, the games are going, and the help is friendly! Shout out to our mega hospitable server...Savannah! The chicken is moist, the pork ribs are meaty, and the potatoes baked to perfection. The portions are generous, so bring a cooler with ice if you are out shopping. That way, you can get a go-box and enjoy your leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Feast happily, friends! Dietary restrictions: Smoked chicken baked potato is a nice healthy option.

We sat at the bar, as it was already a 20 min wait at 5:30pm on Saturday. That really ended up being a blessing as Melena and Lorenzo were behind the bar and crushed it. We had the Restaurant week special (steak was perfect) and the brisket combo with turkey. You could cut the brisket with a spoon. The drinks we had were perfectly poured and the dessert was an excellent finale. There were a few issues with the kitchen, but the whole team worked to make it right. We will be back.

Food was excellent!! I got the chicken salad and it was huge! So delicious. My man got the steak and creamed corn and our son got the brisket. My only complaint was the wait time to get our food. It took about 35 minutes, other than that it was really good.

Id give this restaurant 10 stars in all categories if I could. The food was amazing. It was tasty without having been too spicy which is the way I like it. Juan, our waiter gave perfect service, thinking of things needed ahead of time. The restaurant was very busy but the staff didnt rush us and the decorations were pleasant to see. The seats were comfortable and welcoming. The pecan cobbler was outstanding!

I recently visited this BBQ spot, and unfortunately, it didnt meet my expectations. The brisket was disappointingly dry, and the ribs had an overly sweet taste that didn t sit well with me. The mac and cheese tasted like it was made with nacho cheese, which was a strange and unappealing twist. This was my first and likely last time dining here.

The food was delicious. Service was okay. My husband ate 1/2 of his chicken fried steak, and all the gravy was gone (it was not enough for whole cfs). He wanted to take the rest home, so he asked for a to-go gravy. They charged us for the gravy. If he would of sat there and eaten it and asked for more, he wouldnt been charged. Overall, it is good food, and we will be back.

Got there around 12:20 didn t get seated till almost 1 o clock sat and waited in the middle section of the restaurant every time the door open there was a horrible screeching sound. I hope they fix that.. once seated, we got waited on right away by Juan we ordered the appetizer and then he waited so that we could finish that before he put our order in he kept our glasses full and he was very respectful and efficient. The food came out hot and had lots of flavor in it. I will say when he brought the sauces out the spicy mustard. The cap was off on the side and it had barbecue sauce, stuck around the top of the bottle it , had not been cleaned, and I did speak to the waiter about that. He apologized and brought more napkins.. I personally did not care too much for the coleslaw. It was dry and stringy I did try to stir it up, but the poppyseed dressing was all pooled at the bottom , the turkey was very tender and excellent. I would recommend that and the ribs were delicious. We ended up taking a box home I will definitely recommend and look forward to the next time. I just want to say there are only two handicap spots in the front of the restaurant. The rest are all on the side across from the restaurant. Come join me to the next eating event !

This place is awesome! I always recommend it to anybody that s thinking about going out to eat to which many of my friends have gone there and loved it. I ve never ordered anything bad and idk if it was the chef that day but whoever cooked my aged ribeye made the best steak I ve ever had and for only $35 (comes with two sides). The pit boss burger, chicken wings, and my favorite, an old fashioned. My wife gets pork belly or the smoked chicken with a juke joint classic (the server may not know about the juke joint classic but the bartenders do and it s her favorite low calorie drink). Hands down one of the best places in the area!!!!

The food was meh. Underseasoned and underwhelming with no smoke flavor. The bar drinks were disappointing. Some of the worst drinks that I have had at a restaurant. The queso seemed like straight melted Velveeta with some brisket tossed in. The best part of the meal was the pork bites...AND I have had better. The staff was nice and the bathrooms were clean. Omg where do I start lol..I arrived at opening time and the parking lot was semi packed so I was amazed. The server Kyle was great, attentive and polite. Simply some of the best barbecue Ive ever had. I highly recommend you treat yourself to a variety and flavors and make a full meal out of multiple appetizers. Go for the sticky pork bites, the shrimp brochette (which is actually sausage and shrimp wrapped in bacon!), the deviled eggs with brisket on top, and the brisket queso. This is an amazing variety of flavors and you will have plenty to take home as well. Probably one of the best barbecue meals I have ever had and all I ever order now. Update.... I thought maybe that since it was a Pappas restaurant, that maybe Tims fried chicken would be amazing.....no.... Hungry-Man frozen chicken dinner would be better. I love this place. The food and drinks are always good. I admittedly only order one to two of the same three items, buts its ALWAYS delicious. My standard items are: Fried green tomatoes with goat cheese and peppercorn ranch Deviled eggs with smoked pork belly Smokehouse chicken wings I dont come here often cause I live so far, but I absolutely love the food and drinks here. For drinks try their smoked old fashioned. I cant remember the drink in the picture. Its a tropical tasting Mezcal drink and its delicious. Parking: Its in a strip shopping center. Pappas Delta Blues doesnt have a lot of parking on its property, but there is nothing but strip mall parking surrounding it

I am learning that Pappa s has a lot of restaurants in Texas - next to this one is a seafood themed restaurant. Business dinner meeting & had plenty of room to eat & feel comfortable with everyone invites. Server was great - recommended the jalapeño sausage, which was great with my salad. Visiting family,late lunch on a Friday.Im casual and dont require much service, since I was with the Folks was hoping for them to enjoy. Service was an easy seven stars Thanks to Marialaine. Fried Catfish plate, 3 sandwiches and 3 Margaritas ( mine). I had the turkey and a chopped brisket sandwich. This place is pricey but as expected for a Pappas restaurant. At least you get a lot of food, definitely a lot of bang for your buck. The deviled eggs were to die for and the pork belly on them was delicious. We also had ribs and sliced chicken. The chicken was meh but the ribs were huge and fell off the bone. The mashed potatoes and potato salad were yummy as well. The family then split the apple pie in the jar and it was amazing, pretty great price for it as well to be able to split between 6 of us. Our waitress was good but went missing a few times. It was on mothers day so pretty expected.

Very good food! I recommend the BBQ and fried green tomatoes! Funny to say but it really seems like a place where coaches seem to gravitate to. Everyone who coaches was there on the night of my attendance.

I went to dinner with a party of eight, after a friend gave raving reviews about the food and service and atmosphere. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. Despite having a combined check of about $300, the service and food quality were far below any acceptable standards. From the moment we sat down, it took an agonizing 70 minutes for our food to arrive. When it finally did, it was barely warm, almost room temperature. I stay with confidence. My food had been sitting out for too long because I ordered a baked potato that arrived without butter, so I simply grabbed some from the table myself. However, the potato wasnt even hot enough to melt the butter, which was at the moment a lil funny tbh but also incredibly frustrating at the same time. Throughout our meal, our server never inquired about our satisfaction with the food. Additionally, no manager came by to check on our table, which is a basic expectation in any decent restaurant. The servers unprofessionalism was honestly honestly impressive as well. We received only one drink refill for one persons water and when we asked about the beverages only got excuses about bar staff being new and then was not really seen again. The only thing that made the experience bearable was the fact that I was with friends. However, absolutely nobody at the table had a single nice thing to say about the food or service. For the price we paid, the experience was severely lacking. You can easily find much better food and service for half the cost at any counter-service BBQ place. We left feeling frustrated and let down, and lowkey a lil amused at whole experience.

We made a special trip on vacation to have dinner at the only location left since they moved out of Dallas . The food is fantastic! I ordered the smoked chicken and it was so juicy, that 3 days later when I reheated my leftovers, it was still perfect!

We were totally satisfied. BEST CHICKEN FRIED STEAK ever. Usually CFS has to be Chopped steak to be tender but they had the real steak cooked perfect. So tender, so crispy and generous portion. Our intention was to split 1 but even after cut in 1/2 we had to split the 1/2. Smoked pork n beans have smoked pulled pork in them. Excellent. Great cocktails, sports screens, good staff working to please you. Highly recommend and we will definitely return here again. Sorry no photos. Ate everything before it was thought about.

Wow, this was my first. Im so impressed. Everything was fantastic and wonderful. Theyve even got ice in the bathroom for sanitation purposes. Im definitely coming back for the amazing experience and food.

We had a party of 6. Everybody at the table had big nice juicy ribs but my plate looked like they gave me every small, dry end of the ribs. I asked for center cut and got the tail end. I paid $301 and I couldnt complain cuz this was the first time me and my boyfriend parents met each other. Me and him shared a plate and I gave mines to my dog. Parking: I feel they should pay close attention and give the meat the way I order it. The food taste so good. This wasnt my first time here. Still want be my last next time I will send it back. Meet the parents over.

Highly recommended. Hasnt disappointed yet. Great brisket, pulled pork, pork belly, and burgers. Start with the pork belly in cherry cola glaze. Shrimp Brochette with the addition of sausage and a mix of garlic butter and bbq sauce is amazing.
