What an incredible experience. Me and my friends and I have been going to Texas Tech for four years only only just found this gem! We got the gyro, kafta sandwich, coffee, and every dessert they had to offer. The later two pair perfectly together. The staff was so incredible and made the atmosphere inviting and calming. Please, if youre thinking about it go!

Its always a delightful lunch at this genuinely delicious restaurant! Its very clean, light and bright, cheerfully decorated. Its a quiet atmosphere with some light music so you can talk with friends and easily hear each other. The food is absolutely delicious and the owners give 200% to serve and please customers. The iced tea is very refreshing. We live in Arlington but were visiting my sister in Lubbock and ate here 2 days in a row so we could try as much as possible. We will visit again soon. I was a regular customer for several years and would go there at least once or twice a week for a gyro sandwich but due to the pandemic and moving away I hadnt been in for a couple of years. I didnt realize that it had changed ownership. But I could tell the difference because the meat and the sauce has changed and not for the better. I was so disappointed because I love gyros and really had my mouth set for their sauce. I even ordered two gyros, one for lunch and another for dinner. I ended up giving them to my dog. I will not be going back.

My mom had the beef swarma ( bad spell), and she had enough for two meals. Sister had the falafel, but we had to reheat it, because she did not eat right away. She said it was good. The spinach pie was okay. Had too much of a vinegar taste in parts. Good size though. The lady that help me was patience, and professional nice with me. Parking is a little tricky, but not hard.

Very nice little restaurant! You can tell the owners put all their energies into this restaurant. Everything is made fresh (including the dough for the pizza and pies), and came out quickly and piping hot! We had excellent service as well. They seem to cater towards the lunch hour as they have lots of lunch specials, so this would be a great place for a lunch break. Nice decorations which gave you a homey feel, and they even have a small market at the back of the restaurant. They have many menu items, and would recommend you give this place a try! Theres definitely something that you would like. Try their Turkish coffee if you get a chance! We tried the Baba Ganouge, Mediterranean Pocket Pie, 10 Gyro Pizza, and one of their sandwiches, 2 Turkish coffees, all of which came out less than $40.

Food is ok. Service is good. Price is high! (Update): Reply to the owner comment, I have lived in the state for a quiet while and I ve been to many Arabic restaurants. I m gonna be honest in this update comment. The food was dry, so maybe it was prepared for a week or two. I ordered a plate of falafel and was very dry. Two sandwiches of Shawarma s I haven t touched them and I throw them in the trash. I ordered Turkish coffee as well. It was very cold and unprepared. It wasn t fresh and it seemed as if it was stored in a thermo flask for quite a while. The service is good because I was the only one that time. So it s obvious. Regarding the price is very high compared to other Arabic restaurants in the US. Probably, you think you are the only one in town so your price is high.

My daughter had the spinach pie and then we had the lunch special with gyros. It was absolutely divine. We finished with Turkish coffee and baklava. It was all so light and tasty. Afterwards we shopped their little market area and got some bulgur wheat and Yerba mate and the little metal straws to drink it with. Great meal, fair prices, wonderful service and experience. I love gyros. I was a little disappointed to learn that it had been taken over by a different family the last time I went.

This is the second Greek / Mediterranean restaurant in town that weve tried and still havent found one yet that well return to. My wife and I both ordered the Greek salads. Hers with the grilled chicken and I got the gyro meat. I guess they were true to their name Lite Bite cause they were the size of a side salad. My suggestion is to offer two sizes. We like meat salads as a main meal and those we a bit small. They did taste good but just too small for a meal. I also asked about the baklava. But when I was told that they are not made in house but purchased, I decided to pass.

Great place for traditional Greek cuisine. The food is very fresh and presented in small but delicious portions at a very reasonable price. It is a local store ran by the owners. They have a store and bakery as well with great options. Will def come back

I get the Zataar pocket pie (I add a little olive oil), and my wife loves the chicken gyro. Lentil soup, Fattoush salad or Tabbouli salad. This is what we have tried. We intend to go further and try everything. This food is excellent and very healthy. See you in there!

I have been going to Lite Bite for over 10 years. I have always loved it. Their Gyro is the best I have found anywhere and their hummus is delicious. I eat at about 3 places in Lubbock when I visit and rotate between them. Lite Bite is one of those 3. Cant wait to go back. New owners are nice and the atmosphere is top notch.

With the new owner, Lite Bite Mediterranean at last deserved the name Mediterranean. I am a Mediterranean born and raised person, As a woman from the region who actively cooks, I found it really hard to find good ethnic tastes in Lubbock. Since good people of Lubbock doesnt have any idea what a good Middle Eastern or Mediterranean cuisine is, many ethnical places dont bother to make it right. They think it is OK to torment people with their horrible food so called Middle Eastern or Mediterranean food... Lite Bite was one of them all those years. By chance we get to meet the new owner and had a chance to taste their food. I can say their food is the best Mediterranean option for Lubbock. Not like the ones you visit in Austin, Dallas but at least they are better than other options in our city. I recommend you to go and taste their renowned menu and better quality food.

I love this place! The food is always fresh, the lemonade has a delicious hint of jasmine and they have a cool little mini mart in the back with spices, teas, coffees, treats and fresh pita bread and Lebna cheese which I love! If you love Greek food you will love this place - its as close to the Mediterranean that you can get in Texas!

Staff was nice. Hummus, gyros, and baklava were decent. If this was all I d ordered I d have give another star. Probably would have been better to dine in. But the Greek salad was lacking flavor even after I added salt and I would have preferred Kalamata olives. Chips that came with the gyros were stale. Fries were gross and undercooked.

What a great place to eat, notice the framed certificates of the owners food and management experience that is hanging on the wall, I ordered a muffuletta pizza and wow I am glad I ordered it, you can pick the available ingredients to suit your taste, I really had a very good experience dealing with the owners as they are very friendly and courteous, I will definitely will visit again and again and I would recommend it to all my friends .

Best Mediterranean food in Lubbock, new owners are great people. The Gyro Donner is delicious with good portions. The Mezzanine Plate was delicious, I loved the Gyro Pizza. Ingredients seem to be fresh and served with a smile from the owner. I can t recommend this place enough, I was saddened they removed the Mujadara because nobody was ordering but I understand it isn t ingredients that are fast to make.
