Every true Texan loves Mexican food. And Tex-Mex cuisine as well. My friends invited me here today, and it was my first time here, and I must say, IT IS A REALLY ! AWESOME ! DELICIOUS SPOT !! Margaritas are on point !! The dish I had in particular was the GUISO MEXICANO ( I substituted my black beans for charro beans...omg, delicious), one of the best dishes Ive ever had in a restaurant. I love my Mexican/Tex -Mex food. Ill definitely be coming here more often. And Im definitely taking all my first dates here as well lol . This place is definitely worth it. I guarantee it.

Ive already been here twice within the last 2 days. The food is delicious!!! Its flavorful and fresh. The salsa and the queso are delicious as well. If you like spicy youll love the salsa.The margaritas will get you right!!! Theyre the type of margaritas that will sneak up on you and they are HUGE! This place has earned a spot on my favorites list. The service was wonderful. Both times Ive gone everyone has been amazing.

This is a very quaint neighborhood Mexican style cantina off of North Tarrant near 377, although there are several other locations. The entrance and signage is very difficult to see and I would not have noticed it if I wasn t told it was there. There is a large tree blocking most of the signage, so a little pruning would do wonders for them. Inside decor is clean, not cluttered, and very open. The staff is very friendly. Chips and queso were provided, and I have to say the salsa has a solid kick to it with a nice lingering heat. Chips are a nice thickness (not too thick but won t break constantly) and fairly standard. We asked about queso and perhaps one con carne. I found out there is one version not listed on the menu called Issa s Queso, a combination of choice of meat (chicken, ground beef, fajita, chorizo, etc.) with guacamole, pico, and sour cream. It was quite good and we enjoyed it. We then ordered a Burrito Plate and Enchiladas Suisas. I have to say the presentation of the burrito plate was strikingly boring and didn t inspire great expectations. It turned out to be passable. The enchiladas actually were impressively plated, colorful, and inviting. A delight to see. Digging into the first bite, starting in the middle, my first impression was the chicken was a little tough and a little dry. Continuing on, this faded, yet my opinion still stands that starting with a touch more moisture would go a long way to up this dish slightly. The Suisas sauce was on the lighter side with the sour cream yet works well. The interesting, and a little surprising, addition was the softly sautéed squash and cucumber (yep, cucumber). It actually works quite nicely and adds character. They have a nice little bar and feature margaritas prevalently. I hear this is a neighborhood gathering spot (I was there during mid-afternoon lull) but I can imagine weekend nights could find a crowd. I wish I could go 3.5 here but have to try it again, and I will.

We got there they were way overstaffed and no surprises here. The entire staff is just standing around doing absolutely nothing. Took forever to get our food. The service was terrible. Our order was wrong and the manager refused to make it right. Do yourselves a favor and go a little further down the street to the location on precinct line because they have it way more together than these idiots do.

I have been there 3 times now and twice only ordered an appetizer and some margaritas. Once for dinner. The homemade tortilla chips are the best anywhere. They are simply amazing. Their salsa is quite spicy, but it is also very very good!!! If a Mexican restaurant cant get these basics right, you know they wont do the rest of the food right. Their food was good. We split a fajitas and the meat was not the most tender and was not in ample amounts. The sides to go with the Fajitas were just standard and nothing special. Antonio, the server, is the nicest man on the planet. Give that man a raise!!! Now, the bad news. Their Perfect Margarita is not made by the traditional standard of a perfect margarita. It had a lot of sweet and sour mix. A perfect margarita is supposed to have only tequila, Cointreau, and lime juice. Their perfect margarita tasted just like the regular house margarita and I was supposed to get the house margarita at a happy hour price and they charged me the regular price. So, when it comes to margaritas, they get a failing grade. If you want a good margarita, go to Namaste Bar and Grill. They make the perfect margarita exactly how it is supposed to be and they charge you one dollar less than this place.

Brisket tacos are the best but what about brisket that has been marinated in Modelo? Tacos are a staple in our diet and we love trying new varieties anytime we get the chance. Simple ingredients done well; brisket, cheese, avocado, and pico! Its a must try along with the queso. Dont think its your boring run of the mill queso. The queso at Baja has so much going on; from the meat to the guacamole to the melted cheese. Its a must try! If you even have room after the phenomenal salsa and chips before you even order. #GoogleGal

The atmosphere is very unique and resembles a taco shop off the coast which makes the experience very emersive. The overall quality of the food is authentic with a traditional presentation and taste. I feel that the portions of the plates compared to the prices are inadequate. Nearby similar restaurants offer a better quantity for similar prices. The margaritas were excellent especially the coconut flavored one with a big glass making the price of $13 dollars worth it in my opinion. Great local restaurant that anyone should check out if in the area.

DISAPPOINTED. Frequented this establishment many times over the past 10 years. Alas it too has suffered the post covid down fall. Bad food. Bad service. It s no longer on my go to list. Literally 1 bite off each plate and we were done. And the lemonade looked and tasted like cloudy water. Since moving here I was looking for my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant I finally found it! BC has a lively atmosphere, the waitstaff are friendly and attentive, but not intrusive, and the food is consistently delicious! My favorite dishes are the Enchiladas Suizas, brisket tacos and the incredible, Glo s Freakin Platter! Salsa is spicy, drinks are potent and the queso (which we know is important to all Texans) is very good! If you re looking for a great spot to try (and love) here it is!

Mexican food is my second to last choice as food genres go but everything I ate and everything I sampled from my wifes plate was absolutely amazing!!! The chicken tortilla soup they served ruined all others from different locations. The Carne Asada was simply dressed but the exact temp and degree of cooked that I requested. The enchiladas were great. Also the broth alone on the charro beans was amazing in the flaver department. The salsa served at the initial sit down was the perfect balance of flavor and heat. Our server Edgar checked in on us at the right intervals and also had a great relaxed personality. I think that this place just upped the rank of Mexican food in my hierarchy of food genres. All in this was a fantastic experience and highly recommend this particular location to anyone that is looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant that delivers far above what is promised. I thought the prices were steep but after tasting the food that was delivered in large portions and seasoned in the most savory manor I think they are undercharging lol. We ate at the Wataga location. This is 100% the best Mexican food I ve eaten outside of Mexico, and Mexican food is my absolute favorite food. If you are from Arizona or boarder area California and have been home sick for GREAT Mexican food and margaritas? This is your new go to. When I go home to AZ, the first place I HAVE to have is Some Like it Hot and Filiberto s. This puts those to absolute shame. We had tortilla soup, carnitas, carne asada and yes the measure of an authentic Mexican restaurant is the corn tortillas . Don t take my word for it! Go try it!! Edgar took great care of us also, great vibes for anyone who enjoys quality authentic Mexican food OR anyone who is a little homesick for that AZ or super southern Cali. Yes it s pricey, but not only well worth it in freshness and quality overall; but also worth it in portion. I ll be eating my leftover carnitas for like 3 more meals.

Wheelchair accessibility: We brought our daughter in her wheelchair. The handicapped parking is down the row a bit but not too far. This is my second time here and both times the food was delicious. There is a warning on the menu about how many margaritas you can have. I could be a light weight, but I dont know who drinking more than one! They are delicious also. The servers are great, but depending on who you get, you may need to brush up on your Spanish or use your phone to translate. The salsa and chips are really good, but if you cant do spicy, which I love, tread lightly. The prices are affordable and you get a lot of food. I will be making that drive to eat here again. The next time Ill just eat half of my food so I can try the dessert. Parking: Its in a shopping center so I can see where parking could become difficult, but at lunch time there is plenty of parking. Kid-friendliness: Each time Ive gone at lunch time Ive seen children. They have booster seats available for them.

First time here on a Saturday evening last month with my husband. Sat at the bar and tried ordering a margarita freshly made from scratch. The small Asian/Hispanic looking bartender said We don t have that . Whhaaaattt???? So I ordered a Paloma. Later I saw on the drink menu they DO have freshly made margaritas, so I asked him about it. He said No, that s a cocktail Correct me if I m wrong, a margarita IS a cocktail. Whatever, didn t feel like arguing so I ordered a frozen Sangria swirl. About 2 mins later (around 9:30pm) I ordered nachos. He replied You want those nachos to go? I replied I just ordered a sangria swirl from you 2 mins ago and haven t even gotten my drink. Now why would I order my food to go? He just said Okay and walked off. Incredibly rude, I will never return based solely on this pathetic service I received from him my first visit there. And they also turned off the TVs we were watching at the bar at 9:50pm. They closed at 10pm. Never again!

This little place is a hidden gem. The wife and I tried it the other day and it was some of the best Mexican food weve ever had. Salsa was OK, queso was good. Taco meat was excellent, brisket/queso enchiladas were amazing. Charro beans were delicious, rice was good and moist. Beef fajitas were perfect, chicken fajitas were tasty but a little dry. Mexican restaurants are the last place I want to go to because I am Mexican and most places are just eeeh. However, as soon as I ate their salsa and it tasted like salsa with a kick instead of tomato sauce, I had some hope. The chips were good too and I liked that they were thick enough to hold the salsa. They make perfect chilaquiles chips too incase you have any leftover lol I got posole verde which I was surprised since most places only have it as a winter weekend item. It was so good! I wish it had been spicy but I just put in some of their salsa and that fixed it. I love that they even put radish since its my favorite in posole. My husband got enchiladas suizas and I was surprised at how delicious it was! Even the chicken inside the enchilada was seasoned! Normally its super dry and taste like plain boiled chicken with salt. The Original margaritas was pretty good too. It wasnt to strong BUT it definitely will sneak up on you. Service was fast too even though they were busy and our server was very nice too!

Ive been coming here for a long time and the food is amazing. Brisket enchiladas are one of the best things on the menu. Ive had their grilled fish tacos before too and they were very good. Chips and salsa are great as well. Their salsa has a decent kick to it.. They have a spicier salsa but you have to ask for it. Service is good and attentive. I highly recommend that you give them a try. This place has some of my favorite local Tex Mex. Warning....the frozen margaritas are LETHAL. Take an Uber.

This place has changed. The food, the drinks, a year ago they were great, now everything is terrible. I know several people who used to come here regularly, but will not go now, because everything changed. Its obvious when you walk in here and theres several empty tables on a Saturday night that were not the only ones. Bring back the old drinks and food, or youre gonna keep losing customers.

Ive been here before, many times & the food was amazing, drinks were top notch. This past visit was polar opposite. I went with some friends & everything was just off. Our food was good, but not as it has been in the past. We ordered margaritas on the rocks & had to return them because it was just lime juice & water. Did not taste like anything else. We traded that drink in for frozen margarita & it was so strong, none of us could take more than a sip. Im not saying we will never go back, because the food was definitely good. But, it will be a while before I go back. Our server dropped off our food & we never saw her again until we flagged her down for our ticket. Any issue we had with our drinks we had to bring straight to the bar & deal with.

Chicken tortilla soup COME HERE FOR IT!!!! is amazing and I usually hate every place I go!!! We came here specifically for the soup and it s just spicey enough to get the sinuses going but you forget with the flavor of traditional Mexican soup! Forget Mi Cocina, On the Border, none of those can keep up. This hole in the wall place is a winner!!

So my wife accidentally orders a shrimp taco at the Keller location and goes into the Watauga location to pick up. And some skinny guy with glasses and red shirt comes out and says he will NOT make her one at the Watauga location because she let food go to waste at the Keller location. HOW DARE YOU chide the customer for making an honest mistake and refuse service, especially in such a disrespectful manner. That s one way to go out of business! Great job.

Service is always great - and fast! Food is awesome - tacos are our favorite, especially the brisket tacos. Try the Asada Fries for an appetizer - so good!! Only weakness is the chips and salsa, but when I m going here, it s not for for that anyway! Frozen margaritas are the best around.

Food is mediocre and their drink policy and what they actually enforce do not match. We waited for an hour for a table, had a drink and then after another drink while waiting 30 minutes to order food were told we couldn t order more drinks, even with a food order: The manager refused to acknowledge that they weren t following what was printed on their menu and also refused to provide the owners contact info; to file a complaint. Worst restaurant service I ve ever experienced. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

Im a regular at this location, and let me tell you guys no dish disappoints here. Ive tried almost everything on the menu, and their margaritas are some of the best in the DFW! The service is always quick and their staff members are always very polite and helpful. I highly recommend Bajas especially this location, I take all of my friends and family here and they love it just as much!

I was very disappointed in this facility. My husband loves the food and decided to have them cater his birthday. Not only did I come into the facility to order the catering I also ordered food for dinner. After sitting there the manager came in and handed a catering menu. As I place my order he said, Oh I m sorry our prices went up from this menu and it is $2 on top of the prices you see here. I agreed and said ok that s fine and asked to pay now. Keep in mind this was not a huge order, it was only for 20 people. He leaves and then returns and says, oh I m sorry the owner said the prices are higher and are the same as on the actual menu per person . When I said never mind he grabbed the paper ripped it up and said ok. Needless to say they lost my business forever. I cannot believe their behavior.
