From the moment we sat down service was unsanitary .table wasnt set for us menus in the floor under the table. stepped in mashed potatoes that were on the ground under the table no plates no silverware no napkins nothing. waitress never even tried to fix it we ate our rolls on the table or on our hands we ordered and it literally took 45 mins for 2 steaks and they were supposed to be medium rare they had no pink as my two sides I got a salad and sweet potato they brought the salad out 30 mins before our meals and it was just lettuces one crouton and the smallest amount of dressing i asked for a house salad instead. They forgot my husband veggies and brought them out after we inspection of the steaks we asked for new steaks. so by the time all this time has passed we didnt even want to eat no more .so disgusting and disappointing I will never go back

Order was not right. Called it in 30 minutes befor headed through restaurant. Wasn t ready. So I paid and went back to car noticed the receipt wasn t correct so there was an item missing. I went to window to make sure. And girl said I will make sure the green beans are in there. Well they was but our fully loaded sweet potato was not. There is always something wrong with our order.

Good food, drinks and service. It was a busy night, so very noisy. We were there on Sunday night of Labor Day weekend. The parking lot was full and almost didnt park. Since there were only 2 of us, we got lucky and were able to sit at the bar. Chain restaurants are not my first choice on a road trip, but this Texas Roadhouse might chage my mind! Parking: Dont let the number of cars in the parking lot fool you, It is a big restaurant! If there are only 2 or 3 of you, go check it out.

Very disappointed. I cannot believe I waited almost an hour for my food. The server was not doing a good job either. It s not okay to refill drinks without asking because that s an extra charge. Especially when the drink is almost full. The service has been very bad lately. I am not sure if it s because they can t keep servers and then my steak wasn t cooked how I wanted it. I had to send it back twice. And I didn t get the correct sides. Roadhouse isn t the same anymore.

Well, lets start with the ranch dressing was so thick. That you had to put water in it. To put it on your dinner salad, it was real super thick. Uh, chicken was that my wife had was overcooked road. Kill as they call it the hamburger steak just was not good. We we have eaten at Texas Roadhouse. A whole lot of times and always thought it was real good. It was very poor the server. She was nice, but it just uh. It is went downhill as far as were concerned, and it just not was not a good experience whatsoever. And another thing we had to go through two sets of silverware to get clean, silverware a and when they brought out my cup of chili, my spoon head food debris on it and it would seem like when you put that spoon on the dish that you were bringing out that you would have seen that.

8/24/24 I went with a best friend early on a Saturday afternoon and had sam as our waiter. He was amazing and really made it an enjoyable visit! The food was excellent. Apparently, medium rare means something different here. First steak came out over-cooked. Took 35 minutes for them to make a new one, which was also wrong. The service was beyond lacking, too. Fabulous, quality steaks (sirloin & ribeye) that just melted in our mouths, cooked to perfection. Julia was amazing, catering to our every need, fixing issues that we caused, and making us feel spoiled. (They said she is new, but shes obviously a natural at serving.) My 8oz sirloin tasted good & so did my garden side salad & greenbeans. It was a little more done than I requested. My medium well was more well done. My friends medium was more medium well. My first roll plate was dirty. Mine & my friends cloth napkins were cold and damp. I know things happen, but the person folding the silverware into the napkins should have sent our 2 napkins back to the dryer. It was busy because it was Saturday evening. Arrived for a 645 reservation at 635, we had a party of 8. They finally sat us down at 725. Love texas roadhouse but had a very bad experience a couple of days ago. I got a 6oz steak and everything came out exactly how I wanted despite the fact that it tasted horrible. I thought it was the steak but it wasn t ..it was the steak sauce. It was expired past 2 years. My waitress was understanding but still had to pay full price for my meal despite the fact I did eat expired sauce. Moral of the story, check the steak sauce before you eat it.

This is a well established restaurant in Waco, TX. Service really depends on who you get, and when you go. Its always busy, and many people would say its one of their favorite places to eat. The food was good, but the server was particularly attentive. I paid, perhaps, $30 for a steak plate whereupon my young guest left several sizeable chunks of fat--not un-masticable gristle but certainly more than marbling. I fear chicken breast in some restaurants because of a due aversion to dry meat, but the split breast was tender and topped well with the house hickory sauce. I greatly prefer a garden salad to a Caesar salad, but the side portion was an ample complement. Since it preceded the plate meal, though; I felt as if something were missing on the main plate. The loaded baked potato, however, was satisfactorily filling in conjunction with the protein. You can easily be distracted if you sit on the outer perimeter of the bar, but there are some select spots that are a bit more secluded and private. Given that you will usually encounter a crowd there, those spots may not be available; so youll need to return multiple times. Parking: They plan for huge crowds, so youll find extended and remote parking areas. I suggest joining the wait list much sooner than you plan to arrive.

Way too much salt. Outside of that, the food was really good. You could see a layer of salt on parts of the food. I asked for a medium rare steak, and that was what I got. The food was tender and flavorful. Service was perfect. The associate didnt bug us constantly, but he did make sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was not bad, but the music could have been a notch lower then you would not have needed to shout to hold a conversation. It may have sounded fine in the kitchen, but it was very loud in the dining area. Overall, it was a good experience. It remains one of my favorite places to eat. Parking: You can park, and it is not door handle to door handle. In other words, you have plenty of room to park.

Not the place if you have a large party. Unless they get a new party coordinator. Angel wasn t it, and she was rude. Not just to us, but we noticed with other parties too. I called in advance to see when would be a good time to get on their waitlist since we had such a large party. I was told, just call an hour before and we ll start getting things prepared . So, that s what I did. Called an hour before at 1:15. They asked what time we d be there and I said 2:15. We show up at 2:15, check in, and they said they would let us know how much longer. Angel comes over after 20ish minutes and says it s gonna be another 30-45 minutes. So we say, ok, that s fine. An hour passes. We ask how much longer, Angel never made a note that we arrived and were waiting. So we had to wait ANOTHER 30 minutes on top of the hour we had already waited. I never post reviews, I never like to be that person. But this was ridiculous. The, I assume, manager did say we d get 4 complementary appetizers. But still, this was ridiculous. Update: We ended up waiting about 2 hours total, just to be seated.

My take out experience was awful. The staff at the window was absolutely rude and unprofessional. My order was ready for about 20 minutes so I went up to pay and they took my coupon but didn t take my payment and just closed the window in my face. So I waited for about 10 more minutes, and then asked them if my order was ready and they said yes but they can t take my payment due to their system being down, and they just kept telling me to wait. At this point I ve waited for about 40 minutes while my food was just sitting there. So I wanted to cancel my order and get my coupon back and the manager came up and she was so rude and didn t give the coupon back and proceeded to say just wait a sec with an attitude and closed the window AGAIN! Made to move into a queue in a crowded thoroughfare of server traffic called on deck. Rude servers irritated we are where their system told us to be. Inexcusable wait in this second space also. Been there twice in past two weeks. Great food, great service. The prime rib is always great. Never have to ask to take food back because it is cold. We do have on suggestion, turn down the music. The music is so loud so everyone talks decibels higher, thus the noise is overwhelming and very detracting.

Texas Roadhouse is my go to spot for a steak in Waco. The food is consistently good, and the service is always excellent. I normally order a sirloin, but have had all of their cuts of meat at one time or another, and have never been disappointed. They ve got a great list of appetizers, as well as sides. I typically order the green beans and loaded mashed potatoes. TR is conveniently located, and easily accessible from I-35. You can reserve a table using their app, which will greatly minimize your wait time.

Wonderful service. The wait was 4 mins on a Thursday evening in a very crowded place. The hostess asked us while we walked to the table if we d been to that TX RH before. I replied that we d not been to this one. About 5 mins after sitting down, a supervisor came over and welcomed us, gave us a coupon for a free appetizer and a bag of peanuts. A very nice gesture. The food was great. Just what you d expect.

Finally being able to explore other restaurants with my family since my 3 kids are now developing tastes for things other than chicky nuggies and pizza lol. No stranger to Texas Roadhouse, This location is actually where we had our waitress do our baby reveal for our twins 10 years ago. Glad to be able to start coming back. Been here with the kiddos twice now in a month time frame and no bad experience. Daughter got ribs, other son got steak. Was nice to see them almost finish their meal. Food is great, it can get packed really fast which shows you that this place dont play around. The only nit bit that I have is both times that I ordered beer, it was on the flat side, which is fine but something a little disappointing.

Service and food were phenomenal. I didnt catch the hostess or shift managers name but both ladies were so attentive and kind. Hunter is an amazing server with attention to detail, even in a full house. Every employee we interacted with had a smile on their face and hustle in their stride. Highly recommend.

First time going to this roadhouse since we do not live in waco. There was about 45 min. Wait, no big deal, it was busy. Beer was very tastful, or I may just have been thirsty , but I ordered the chicken fried steak .The only issue I found is that there is no seasoning it was bland, real bland, but other than that, my wife enjoyed her meal, and the rest was great. The service was great. People who worked there were friendly. I will go back and just not order the fried steak.

A group of friends and I went to Texas Roadhouse all with little ones under the age of three and we waited from the time of our reservation to the time that we got food at the table for 2 hours. We were told to get there at 5:30 we checked in and waited and were told that the table was being cleaned and an hour later at 6:30 instead because we were told that there were people at the table rather than the table just being cleaned. When we got our food our orders were mixed up on my play I got half of my order and half of someone elses and the person next to me had half of my order and half of their order. Besides that the customer service is fine no one had an attitude or anything but its not really a great place if you have kids who are hungry and restless because the wait times are not good and theres nothing for the kids to do except stand around or sit around for hours.

Texas Roadhouse rolls never miss!! The cinnamon butter just can t be beat. Depending on the day, it is pretty quick to be seated and the servers are pretty attentive. It can get busy but the food quality makes up for the wait. I enjoyed spending time with my family here and the menu is extensive so there s something for everyone! The bacon cheese fries and potato skins are great.
