The absolute best meal. Friendly staff. Good selection on salad bar and buffet. They even had a grilled cheese station. Made to order. Wow. I had fish and chips. Fantastic.

As a family, we spent this past 4th of July at the Baylor club. The event was terribly oversold, Under managed, poorly coordinated and the food was disgusting. Thirty dollars per attendee delivered a huge disappointment. The service staff was unsightly. Cleanliness was clearly not a priority. The few food areas were bottlenecked and soiled. This is the last time we attend this event. Having what we hoped and purchased to be a decent time, took a backseat to obvious greed and borderline street theft. Shame on Baylor, the coordinators and the leadership involved with this.

The Baylor club bar manager was extremely rude and nasty. I paid to be at a physician dinner and because he disagreed with me he simply decided to cut you off from the bar, I can do this as the manager. I had not even had a single drink.

Benson rented the club and it was a nice dinner they had chicken roast beef and salmon with some sides of salad potatoes and green beans it was lots of fun with the music and had some raffle

I dont ever suggest that you have dinner when its a set menu or pick from one of their specials for the evening. I have heard amazing things in regards to their lunch and breakfast back when it was a buffet. The reason I suggest not to purchase the special for dinner or go on a night when its a set menu is because the food tastes like it has just been sitting there waiting for someone to grab from the warmer and go to the front. Im aware you have to cook and get some items prepared ahead of time, but not the entire menu. You are inevitably just paying to eat sub par food at the Baylor stadium. It would be different if they had DiCamplis quality food.

Youll notice most of the reviews are from one-time events that folks attend. Membership at the club is overrated. The amenities are wonderful and the fare is generally good, but the service is at best mediocre and at worst awful. I used to go to the club often for lunch. When returning after the COVID shut down, I remembered why I stopped. The inexperienced and/or inattentive service makes having an hour lunch impossible. Dinner service is no exception. My last visit for brunch solidified my decision to leave the club. We sat for 15 minutes without being greeted. A manager (of which there are never less than 4) made sure to tell us that there was confusion over who would be our server. Thats fine, but I really dont care. No one seemed to take ownership of the issue. Drinks were not refilled. Plates were not bused. Meals were served auction style. My step son found hair in his food. No one seemed to care. Our server asked if we, Wanted to talk to someone... Im not sure what that would be about other than we would rather not have hair in our food. I would rather save my dues and use them towards an exceptional meal at an establishment that provides quality food and service while appreciating my business, of which there are several in Waco.

Great place for a special dinner, or just a relaxing drink. The club is celebrating a different country each month on Thursdays with a special menu. This month was Mexico (we just had Cinco de Mayo), and I took my wife there for an early Mothers Day celebration for the special. We had a ceviche (which was good), a stuffed poblano pepper ( which was exceptionall) and flan (the best Ive ever had) all for under $25 per person. It was a phenomenal meal, regardless of the cost, but $25 was icing on the cake. Well be going back again soon!
