Great park, lots of beautiful birds. Be careful to wear bug spray and stay on the walking paths, though; I got 33 chigger bites while I was here. The grass wasn t even especially tall. Two playgrounds, very nice condition and fun for my daughter to play on. The bathrooms at the trailhead came in handy.

Lake is not a lake but more a pond that dries up to a slew like mud hole july thru nov the bugs both ground and air are in the thousands a giant mosquito breeding pond a waste of outer combed field I go to benbrooke park over this run down mosquito pond at least benbrooke which is 8 blocks east has wildlife cottonmouth rabbit other snakes and bird life yes the mosquitos are plentiful but sprayed face to toe you will be bite free sports is the main thing benbrooke invests in but off leash dogs in the stoner golf fairways is my thing

Don t come here with any form of watercraft for catfishing. Offshore fishing here is bad. Lake is stocked with catfish but is very difficult due to the immense amount of weeds and the lake is not deep. Please spare yourself the time.

Picnic area: There is a lot of space at Divine Lake Park. People will get married there, take baby picture, and even go on romantic dates there. I dont like that they are building homes over there though. Last time I was there people where playing games with friends and I was very peaceful. I even went on the new built playground even though Im probably too old for that stuff. I love Divine Lake Park a lot and I really recommend it to everyone.

This park is small, quiet, and relaxing. My small family and I prefer this ambiance rather than packed parks with people and dogs everywhere. We took our two dogs and they also had a good time. It has a very small playground for kids, clean bathrooms are available, and picnic tables throughout. There is also a small gazebo with tables. The lake was pretty dry, but with the lack of rain and the heat we had this summer, we didnt expect to have a full lake. We plan to visit this park often.

This park is pretty special to my family. Not only is it where I have gotten to enjoy some nice strolls, a firework show for 4th of July, but its also where my parents got married. So I feel like it deserves at least 5 stars Toilets: They could use some improvements. Theres only one spot and its near the parking lot, so you may have to sprint if youre far. Generally they are reasonably maintained but you still might find yourself in them on a less than preferable day Dog-friendliness: Its incredibly dog friendly. I dont know if Ive ever been here and havent seen a dog. I would say keep in mind sometimes people have dogs off leash. Picnic area: Its got covered seating and its just your basic run off the mill picnic spot at a park

It s a nice spot, very quiet but loads of mosquitoes. Biggest complaint is that there is no sign up about the thriving poison ivy! It s innocuous looking so my kids had no idea. They thought it was fun playing in the leaves on the trail. I went to pick one up and got a closer look the stuff is everywhere! I am unfortunately terribly allergic and wound up with a huge rash after picking them up. Be careful!

So silly me forgot to snap a photo of the park . If you re like me and love to fish, sadly for you this lake is drying up. The level has receded to the point you ll have to wade fish which still wouldn t net anything. With this drought going on it s only going to recede more. Now if you are a shade tree reading a book with tea person, this is a nice spot for you. Overall I would say this park is a 8/10!
