This place is a hidden gem. If you are tired of instagramable restaurants around Magnolia, you should come and try this authentic Mexican food. The meat portion is so big that I am worried that there is no margin left for this restaurant.

I came around 12:08 am so dang late and they where so happy to see another costumer come in, great atmosphere and the food omg it was just like back home, the place it s a little small but honestly I love the feeling of a small place like this, it s a gem in the wall type of place, I got the #4 the chica diabla plate and it s was what I expected and much more, good people and fast and friendly service

Worst customer service ever. The people there do not appreciate their customers. The quality of the food was terrible. They overcharged us, they could not do simple math, and the woman (the manager) was incredibly rude and kicked us out after asking for clarifications when charging. I feel sorry for the kids helping there because they are getting a terrible example from that woman. We went there to support local business, but it turned out to be a huge mistake. I would better go to the chained restaurants nearby.

Customer service is horrible. When my husband and I travel we like to support local places rather than chain restaurants so we decided to come here and received the worst customer service ever. Not to mention there was a hair on one of the tacos and I didn t even bother telling the lady although my husband told me I should.

Don t let the outside fool you , this little hole in the wall is awesome !!! I ve tried a lot of authentic Mexican food and nothing comes close like this one does. I suggest the Al Pastor tacos, for only 1.50 a taco it s well worth it, don t forget the pineapple tho your tacos will be plain without it. Thank me later

Restaurant was dirty all tables had food residue, food was undercooked, no chips or salsa , and waitress was not too friendly or checked on us and plates were small with no taste . Jamaica water was good tho .

They close 11 o clock at night we got there at 10:26 They didn t want to serve us because it was too late and they wanted to go home it s ok to be tired but if u don t want serve change the hours on the door we drove 25 minutes to make it on time and i feel its not fair Plus the two ladies that were working they were kinda rude

The dood is amazing, one of the best legit Mexican tacos in downtown Waco!! We were staying close by, and looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant. The reviews for this were good, so even tho nothing was in English we decided to go for it. Fortunately a customer was able to walk us thru the menu and we had the #1 (shrimp) & #2 (brisket). Big portions and delicious. Lots of capsicum & onion. Nice place, good prices, friendly staff, great food. Cash only. Be bold, try it.

Very good tacos here but you have better dishes. I really like the preso which is either steak or chop (your taste) mixed with whole beans and red sauce. I prefer the chop ones because it is softer than the steak. They also have natural waters and Mexican drinks. They always bring you some dishes with onion cured with habanero chili and another with pineapple for your al pastor tacos, also lemons. Very good food.

Great place for some of the best al pastor tacos in my opinion. One thing I must say is that it looks busy most of the time but its just the parking situation. Dont let that steer you away from some good food. I usually order al pastor tacos with no sides. Takes about 10 to fill me up but I am not a little guy. Its about 1.50 per taco. They serve plates with rice and beans also with other options than just al pastor. Open until 3 am on Fridays and Saturday.
