Ordered beef chilada platter, received chicken, took it back to exchange for the beef chilada. They seemed put out by my request for the beef chilada and they gave me another chicken chilada with a different sauce on top. Was charged for the beans to be substituted for rice. The beans were ok and first time in a long time the chips were good and crispy.

I know, I know... its fast food Mexican, but its just sooooo good. Yes, a lot of it is nostalgia for me, but it is still good. The freshness of the ingredients rather than bagged and processed food is such a huge difference. Its quick, cheap, and very filling. It was pretty good. Although the parking lot is a bit sketchy when they tell you to wait. Their drive thru exits directly into the street and to do a u turn to get in again. Got the big box. Gave this location another shot yesterday. After all Ive been eating the same thing here for over 20 years so you could say I typically enjoy bueno. I want everyone reading this to know a few things first issue is that there is evidently NO corporate office ,owner ,or real management over this location which is why Im having to resort to a Google review that will probably never be seen by anyone who can address the issues. You can not find a single phone number online for the headquarters that is actually in service. My experience yesterday was atrocious I spent 25 $ plus dollars for just myself to eat and my order was wrong AGAIN. The manager is racist as hell and unless your black you will be treated like a second class citizen here at this location. I told him that my order was wrong and he simply said well thats whats on the ticket. I said well I understand that but thats not what I ordered and this is the second time Ive got the wrong order the first time I didnt even say anything about it but today I wanted to bring it to your attention.He just kept saying thats what was on the ticket and walked back behind the kitchen bar singing oh Jesus help me .Evidently him and the people taking orders both need alittle help. So until Jesus comes to help they dont have to be bothered again with my business in this establishment. Fast food is WAY too expensive right now to not even get your order and also be treated like trash.- I watched him chat with his black friends that came in and got free beverages and he was polite to all of them. Every white person he was extremely short and even had an aggressive kind of demeanour with. Really dont like bringing up racism in 2023 but its very much still an issue and it works BOTH ways. No excuse for this behavior at a restaurant ! This makes me so sad for this particular location that myself and so many others know from childhood here in Waco. Just absolutely unexeptable !!

Im writing this review because there was a young lady and a young man who was very polite and just friendly and made you feel very welcoming I did a doordash there and everything was on point then I went back and got me a taco and it was warm they put there love into the food and they deserve a raise because no matter if they were busy they still kept smiling and interacting thats called teamwork god bless you I will be going back to get more food and to talk to them it was a evening shift....

Customer service was great, very friendly staff. Its the food that is not great. Soft taco tortillas always cold, like out of a package, cheese doesnt even melt. Chicken quesadilla is huge, except for the amount of chicken. 80 percent is just tortilla. No lettuce means no lettuce, it does not mean no tomatoes.

I mean the staff were nice. It took three different people to get my coupons in right. Staff was very apologetic. Im pretty patient and understanding. The food was fantastic, and we were surprised. Now, I will say that when we walked in, the door slammed behind us making a horrible screeching noise. With as much money as this brand makes, you would assume theyd have doors that worked properly. In addition to that, the building smelled like spoiled milk, almost enough for us to walk out and go somewhere else. But, we toughed it out. The dining room was pretty dirty. It took us a minute to find a table that didnt have lettuce and tomatoes strewn on it. It wasnt very busy. Im not sure why it was so dirty but staff did seem to be busy in the kitchen. I did watch a curly auburn haired staff talk down on the guy who was taking my order because he couldnt get the order right, saying Its not that hard man. I felt bad for the guy taking my order. Maybe it was their friendly way of joking but I felt bad for the guy. Other than that, the food was really good. It may have been that we were super hungry, too.

I drove all the way a ross town to get 2 party pks of tacos for a lot of ppl. I was so embarrassed by the tacos i received. There was only about a tsp of meat on each taco and lettu e and either cheese or tomato i dont remember.. i felt like we were eating lettuce tacos! If you order a party pk you are not suppose to cut down on the meat!! If you are, just cut it from the menu! Noone will order it a 2nd time!!!! I admit the 1st time i got them they were great!

This Taco Bueno (the only location around this area) is making me sad frankly.- Ive been eating from this establishment for about 30 year .(Since childhood). Its pretty much always been a decent fast food tex mex option. I know that over the years its normal for prices and food and menu to change slightly. Especially in these times with the fakeflation going on ,oh I mean inflation going on.- However its now costing us roughly 28$ for two adults and a toddler to eat this fast food tex mex.While the taste is still satisfying for tex mex,it seems the prices continue to go up and the serving sizes get smaller .Mucho nachos Ive gotten for a straight 26 years .Never anything different.They have gotten so small lately and once again our last visit Ive had to ask them to put meat on my nachos because you couldnt actually see ANY meat on them when I got them .They are getting so stingy with the beef. At these prices you should be able to see and taste meat on a menu item that contains meat .I really hope for better management and some changes at this establishment. Make it MORE BUENO again! The world of 2022 needs a 2004 BUENO experience.

My family went out of the way during our travels just to get to this location. The store appeared open with the lights on and online it stated they were open. Went to threw the drive thru at 10:28pm on 11/7/22, just for the female on the intercom to act as if she were a recording, stating that they are closed and to come back during business hours Monday-Friday 10:30-11pm. It was obvious it was not a recording. I agree with other reviews, the employees don t care, and I am left to presume the manager/owner does not either, since their business phone number is disconnected or listed wrong online. You may be wasting your time at this location, especially with wrong advertising.

First time eating Taco Bueno. Got the Whole Lotta Platter, beef, so I could try everything. I loved the Muchacho taco, refried beans, enchilada-kinda thing, and the queso wasnt bad for fast food. I liked the crispy beef taco, the cumin-heavy rice, and the guac. Ill definitely be back for more. Getting a bean burrito and beef muchacho next time for maximum enjoyment. Yum.
