I was driving by on my way back to Houston from a business meeting and had to stop. Boy am I glad I did. Everything was great! The food was fantastic and the service was great. The owner was great to talk to and the place reminded me of a time far gone. Really authentic brisket. It was so good I bought one of their t shirts they sell.it has their logo and cattle brand. I asked the owner about the name and he tells me that he used to provide bucking bulls to the rodeo circuit. Hence the name. Hidden gem worth the drive!

We visited here last week and searched for the best hole in the wall location we could find. Chute 4 is what came up. And we are super satisfied with our decision! The Brisket was fantastic! The service was great. Our Kids ate free. The owner was friendly and talked bbq with us and about his time in service in the US Army. We look forward to our return to Waco one day to visit this restaurant! Kid-friendliness: Outstanding place to bring your children as they eat free! Each child had plenty to eat.

I have had takeout from there at least once a week for the last 2-3 months. It is a delicious! Moist and flavorful, nlwaysot spicy! I only rated a 4 because they are not open enough. Im not sure if its called rodeo in a cup or what , but the cup is layered with beans , meat, potato salad, and it is awesome! My new favorite food!

Stopped by on our way through Waco on a family road trip. This place is definitely worth a detour from your route if you re traveling! The owner was working that day and was extremely friendly. We got the brisket and sausage on a plate, in wraps for the kids, and in a sandwich. The sausage was a tad bit spicy for the younger ones, but it was delicious! The brisket was juicy and melted in our mouths. It was the perfect spot for lunch and a quick leg-stretch. Kid-friendliness: Bathroom is accessible for kids and the owner is extremely friendly. He even had some chocolates that he gave our kids after they ate!

This is a hidden gem!!! The owner is more than friendly, the cashier is adorable, and the food is AMAZING! The chicken sandwich was huge and delicious. I was stuffed!! The chicken sausage on tortillas are perfectly seasoned and tasted incredible! The brisket melts in your mouth. The portions are large, the food is delicious and the staff is like family. This place is a must for lunch!!

The food ..so good made me wonder if everything I d ever done in life was not just leading me to that plate of BBQ. I will definitely die knowing that I had once eaten like a king. The service ..although I could tell the girl behind the counter was mildly SPECIAL. The service was excellent. I Love Chute 4 Rodeo. I have been to plenty of BBQ restaurants and while they are great, all of their bbq sauces are just too much. Its all you taste. But at Chute 4 Rodeo, I get to experience a great sauce and enjoy the meat too. And the meat is flavoured to perfection and juicy. They compliment each other perfectly. If I could leave a six star review, I would. If you are looking for a juicy brisket, fantastic homemade potato salad, great links, and all around great food, look no further than this diamond in the rough. The owner was very welcoming and had a caring disposition. Needless to say, my husband and I will be returning. Also, please note to get there early(before 1 pm) because they sell out quickly.

Great BBQ. Great company. Fantastic service. One of the few places where the ribs arent mummified by the time you eat them, the brisket is juicy and flavorful, chicken was super tender, and the sausage is delicious! I also highly recommend the red chili, as it is well balanced, sweet and savory with a touch of spice(has no beans, if thats what youre craving). And though it was the end of the day, everything was still piping hot.

After reading reviews, we picked up lunch at Chute 4 Rodeo BBQ while driving through Waco. So glad we chose this place. The food was hot and delicious. Perfectly packaged for travel. No spills due to the addition of aluminum foil placed over the food and wrapped around the bottom portion of the flip open package. Totally using this tip to keep food hot and sealed.

Actually owns a major portion of the driveway part) he is upset at the influx of business that chute 4 is getting. This is the BEST BBQ in Texas, hands down!! And I m a bbq lover. Great food and attention to detail! All the little things here make this a great stop for Texas BBQ. I had the two meat combo of sausage and brisket and I was very impressed by the overall quality and flavor of everything! The bark on the brisket is competition perfect and the flavor gives the big names around here some serious competition. The potato salad is on point, very few places use the the correct potatoes and these guys knock it out of the park!

The brisket sandwich is the best Ive ever had! Let JR put the jalapeño peppers, pickles, and onions on it for a truly awesome smoky beef brisket sandwich. The BBQ sauce on it is super, too! Full of flavor!

Y all don t listen to Jon Shinder, he s the guy that runs the storage facility next door and he s upset because people park at his facility to eat good BBQ! Chute 4 Rodeo Foods is the best damn BBQ in the Waco area! Give it a try and you won t regret it!!!

This has been a great place to eat for me since it opened over 3 years ago. I always order the 3 meat plate with brisket, ribs, and sausage and two sides. The sides I get are homemade potato salad and cowboy beans which are beans with queso on top. The mac n cheese came extra. He also has Dublin, Texas bottled drinks. Which if you havent tried you should. My personal favorite is the root beer. Tell J.R I sent you as he always takes care of his customers.

We ordered potatoe salad for my bday party, it was the hit of the party. I highly recommend their food, everything is great, but we love the potatoe salad. The owner is very nice and knowledgeable about all his products. 5 stars awesome!! Thanks Amy Rodriquez
