They had 25 minute wait.... I called in a order and picked it up in the drive thru in less then 15 minutes.... Went back for lunch and great service and even better food.....

Got the Shrimp & Fish. 4 shrimp, 2 small pieces of fish. Fish was still raw. Told the waitress. She said let me get different ones Heck no. Dont offer me MORE uncooked fish. The smell is like dirty dish water , the decorations are child like , the I guess manager guy just stands there eyeing people. No smile, no nothing. Wont be back .

Love the boils here! Great price for a boil without nickel and dime-ing you with the potatoes, corn, and sausage. We have eaten here several times and the food is consistent and delicious! Seasonings are great and true to wording. Mild is zero. Spicy is spicy. Portions exceed weight purchased is the experience so far. Staff has been extremely friendly and very attentive.

Food was excellent shrimp and crawfish came out perfect didnt have one over cooked piece. Crawfish tails came right off no problem. Will be returning again talked to GM and let him know we enjoyed every bit.

Food was good. Cocktail sauce tasted like pure ketchup. Poor service. Had to ask for cocktail sauce 3 times. One of our orders was wrong so 3 of us are while the other one had to wait at least 15 minutes. Advice: add more horseradish to said cocktail sauce. Train your wait staff to listen to the customer and repeat the order back to the customer. May try again one day but not for awhile. Please note we were there early afternoon and it was not at all busy.

I ve been to this location twice. 1st time the service was bad but everything else was great. 2nd time our food came out overcooked and unseasoned and the fried pickles we got i WISH i took a picture. the pickles they fried were comically thin. they tried to help the seasoning issue but giving me the seasoning on the side doesn t make up for the seafood literally not being boiled in the seasoning.

The absolute worst food I ve had the displeasure of eating. They served me frozen crawfish even in the middle of crawfish season without saying it s frozen. The crawfish tasted old, disgusting, and were full of eggs and had black tail meat. Plus the seasoning was not good either. I would never eat here again and just thinking about their food makes me nauseous all over again. Completely overpriced for how inedible it was. Please do yourself a favor and never eat here.

The food was so good, we ate there again the next day! Really a gem food was full of flavor. Fried rice was on point, I added some butter sauce to it and that gave it a touch of garlic . The boil was on point. Im surprised its not more popular! Oh well, thats my spot now. I had fried catfish and it was fried yet soft where it should be. Try it! Kid-friendliness: Bring ur family!

We went here for a friend birthday and are all so happy we did! We had the CC Surfing boil that had shrimp, crab, lobster tail, potatoes, corn, and sausage. It was absolutely delicious with the Surfing Crab flavoring. So delicious I forgot to take pictures! My only complaint is the lobster tail was over cooked. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and the food came out quickly! Definitely will be going back soon.

Food was delicious, but Cajun fries were a disappointment. I don t know what they use, but it wasn t Tony s and didn t really taste like Slap Yo Mama seasoning. The fries missing seasoning tasted great though. Portion size is huge. Only ate about a third, my friend only ate about half, despite both allegedly being a lunch portion. Received our meals very quickly. Server was great. Atmosphere kinda awkward I think it would ve been great if not for this incident. Not sure who the extremely light blonde woman was but it felt like she was staring us down every time she walked passed. They weren t busy, so maybe she didn t have anyone else to check on, but our server was doing great and very attentive, yet this other server? manager? employee? seemed unable to walk past and blink or look somewhere else. We were a pretty quiet and conservatively dressed party, so I don t think we were drawing attention to ourselves. Atmosphere was just uncomfortable from being watched. Parking: Tons available. Kid-friendliness: Kid s menu was appropriate and lots of food for kids. Little expensive but portion size justifies it. Wheelchair accessibility: Tables and booths. Low countertops. Handicap parking isn t super close to the door but not unreasonably far either.

Snow crab, fried shrimp, spring rolls, and boiled shrimp are what I had. Everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned beautifully. I definitely will go back here to eat. My server was spot on as well, I believe the name was Cherylynn, spelling not quite right. I apologize for that, but I wanted you to know her name.

This was our second time eating here. We were seated quickly, and drinks came fast. The first time we went, we got the butter garlic and it was too garlic for our liking but we ate it and left happy! Second visit We placed our order and asked for mild 2 pounds head off shrimp with no garlic and when it arrived it was amazing!! They shook the piping hot bag and dumped it for us they were very accommodating and attentive with moist towelettes and checking in every 5 mins for Refills. (My husband and daughter drink like a fish), so that was unexpected but appreciated!! We love this little spot, and you will, too!

The food was amazing. I loved the decorations and the servers were just amazing and so kind, my grandpa (who is usually super grumpy and always has something to complain about) loved it. If you re looking for a place to eat good seafood for a good price surfing crab is the place to go! Wheelchair accessibility: My grandpa is in a wheelchair and it was pretty easy to get him in and there was room to pull his wheelchair up to the table.

LOVE this place!! We eat at the one in Corpus Christi & this one did NOT disappoint! The wait staff is so friendly & the food came out fast! Small atmosphere, but it makes it more homey! Jody was our waiter & he was very sweet! Parking: It s in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking! Kid-friendliness: GREAT atmosphere to bring your littles. Good music and tasty food! Wheelchair accessibility: There s a ramp at the entrance and no bumps.

Horrible experience, came here because it received good reviews and placed an online order well before the closing. Came when my order said it was ready and entered an empty restaraunt full of staff, just standing around. Waited for another 15 minutes before finally being told I wouldn t be getting my order because the kitchen had closed. The manager even asked for my name and said it d be out soon horrible environment and smell too Edit: They didn t want to refund me either for the food I never received.

So today I went here for the first time. I ve never been to a Surfing Crab in a big city either so I m a first timer! The interior looks so nice. It s well decorated, lighted, and welcoming. Sort of small but still looks amazing. Since I ate alone I sat at the bar. Waitress was very friendly and talked me through the menu and made polite conversation with me. The menu has a wide selection of food and even has hush puppies, fried rice, and edamame. They give you a wet toilette for messy dishes/get your hands dirty dishes. I ordered the 1/2 pound headless boiled shrimp cooked medium with old bay and garlic seasoning. I also ordered a side of fried rice. Everything tastes great I love the flavor of the seasoning and the fried rice was yummy had lots of scrambled eggs. Definitely would try more things on the menu next time!! :) (though I really do miss when Hastings was here.)
