Good spot for a solid old school burger. I ordered the regular with cheese and bacon- side of onion rings. Next time I will definitely get the double due to the size, but it was still a good burger. Nice crispy onion rings.

Ordered the big burger (according to the lady that took the order), the burger was good, but less than the size I expected, for the price. The combo included a medium (I think) drink and small fries, the fries were not very good. You order at a walk up window, wait for your name to be called, eat in your vehicle. This restaurant doesnt get my recommendation.

About the only positive thing I can say is that the food is made to order. Meaning hot and fresh, but obviously takes some time. As for the food, I got a burger and fries and eh. Nothing special. Now that being said, the most popular choice appears to be the Jalapeño burger. I might go back for that. Maybe. I say maybe, because the biggest highlight of my experience was the service. Or lack there of. None of them were friendly, nor particularly helpful. I did not see a single smile at anytime during my visit. They all just appeared to be waiting to go home.

Loved the atmosphere and service was good...the food, however, was hugely disappointing. Onion rings were homemade, but had absolutely no flavor is seasoning. Tots were good, but had no seasoning. Corn dog was homemade, and the hot dog was good, but the batter tasted like crispy gloop with no flavor or seasoning at all; I couldnt eat it. A little salt would go a long way on the food. Malt was very sweet and lacked the malt. Great value if the food was edible.

A very likeable experience. The restaurant was well recommended by local folks and it certainly was well worth the visit. The jalapeño burger in my opinion was fantastic, it was basic but very good indeed. Although the fries were alright, they certainly needed more salt and could have been hotter. The chocolate milkshake was fairly good. Although it was fairly silent when I visited, it still took the best part of 20 mins for my order.

my 40 year favorite best burger place. the service is legendary. But we still drive 90 minutes. Thanks Craig for continuing the burger and malt tradition from the Tolberts. This is the original Dairy Treet location. Food is easily among the best in town. I left a review on the other location, so Ill echo my sentiments here. The steak fingers are the best youre going to get anywhere. Theyre out of this world. If youre in Victoria and need to pick one place to eat, make it this one.

been a customer and fan since 1961. walked there barefoot for nickel cokes and icecream. great burgers, friendly prompt service. sorry, now unhappily walking away from both locations. tonight the grand opening of new location. a traditionalist though, called the original for my order, repeatedly no answer. went there to find it closed. went to new location, grand opening and all. 8 pm, relatively few customers. waited at order window for 5 mins or more, never a soul looked my way even to say be right with you in a minute. finally a rude woman opened the window, i asked if original location closed, she said they had a fire. i asked about how long for to wait for a burger order, she said they were so busy no way to tell. sorry, they were not that busy. i commented if this is how service is you are doomed. no concern on her part, i walked away. bottom line, seems new ownership & management is at best inattentive, or maybe absentee - esp on grand opening night. i had tried the new place a month or so ago, not at all impressed with service then too but continued to patronize original. goodbye to both steve fiedler ps clikd 1 star just so i could post, 0 star should be an option

Second time we waited over 40m for 2 hamburgers. Both times they were cold once our number was called. Each time we made the staff aware of the issue. Possible lack of leadership, possibly employees are over worked with no breaks. The product could sell itself but something is amiss. It s really unfortunate, we liked this place very much. Burned the steak sandwich so bad it was barely recognizable. The onion rings were nice and crispy but so bland no flavor. I was so disappointed that they no longer have an old fashioned made burger anymore. Tasted and looked like something i can get at whataburger or sonic.. i took friends from out of state here just for the burgers and shakes.. and even those were just pulled out of a frezer already pre-made. Ive never been here before, I went to pick up something for someone else. I wasnt sure how things worked here, its pretty self explanatory once you get out, but I didnt know this beforehand. I placed an order for a simple chicken basket, and although it didnt seem too busy to me, (Monday night), it took awhile to receive my order. 2 or 3 orders were ready before mine (I know since theyre in numerical order.) Since the food wasnt for me, I dont know how it was, but the menu itself wasnt very big.
