Great hole in the wall that got tons of recognition serving the hospital across the highway. Cant say enough good about the quality of food and drinks. They earned it steady over the last decade Ive been going there. Stuffed, fried avocado is my fav.

I requested flutes at home. They arrived watery enough to eat with a spoon because they had broth. They must be golden. It had lettuce on top and sauce and of course they were watery. I spoke to comment and they told me bring them to see them and I ordered them at home. because I couldnt go so I didnt take them and they didnt do anything to remedy or apologize. Very badly.

My favorite place for Mexican food. The service is always great, as is the food. Tried the fried avocado for the first time here and I loved it. My usual go-to is enchiladas verdes. Parking: It can be challenging when busy.

I went today for lunch, waited about an hour to order and about another hour to get my food. With the wait being so long I really thought I was going to get the most delicious/fresh food. That food was so cold! Like it had been sitting there for a while. The beef fajita was so over cooked and dry. The chicken fajita my niece got was that cheap chicken fajita you get in public schools. With how high their prices are youd think youd get good quality, warm food. Now Im currently at home typing this with the worst stomach pain.

The frankarita and other top shelf margarita options are awesome - but a hard limit of 2 is recommended- food and service are always pretty good. Family friendly especially earlier in the evenings but does have plenty of bar scene to it. Group s of all sizes are welcomed and there s plenty of parking available. Highly recommend!

We LOVE Las Palmas! It s hands down our favorite Mexican restaurant in Victoria! We eat there almost every week, it s so good! My favorite is the Poblano Chicken, that poblano sauce is out of this world, y all! We also love the Stuffed avocado and the El Marino Shrimp, and we always order their wonderful queso! Their green salsa is absolutely amazing! Y all got us right where you want us, Las Palmas!! See y all next week, lol!

A few friends and I came here to have dinner and drinks after a long day. We were catching up, laughing, and having a good time. I had two margaritas, then our waitress came over and started interrogating me asking how much I ve drank today and attempting to cut me off. For TWO margaritas, two!! After that all of us stopped drinking and the vibes at our table completely changed. We stopped drinking not because I needed to be cut off , but because we simply felt uncomfortable with the workers now watching our every move. I mean seriously, what kind of Mexican restaurant does that? All I m saying is that if the rumors are true about y all moving to El Paso s spot downtown, you sure do have some big shoes to fill when it comes to service and the bar itself. I suggest a better environment, let people have fun, and at LEAST get a bar menu with some good drinks! I will say the food is good, but never have more than two margaritas, you ll be ridiculed!

I had the Texas Plate (Carne Guisada with enchiladas, refried beans and rice - two side tortillas.) Flour tortillas were house-made and fresh! My wife had carnitas-street tacos with a side of pintos. We also had the bacon-wrapped shrimp appetizer. Chips and the two salsas were very nice. It was overall quite good - the best we have had in town so far! Our server did a great job and was attentive. The critiques: The appetizer was tasty, but we probably wont reorder based on its price for four medium shrimp. Refried beans could have used more seasoning. (We liked the pintos more than the refried.) The rice was a bit dry but had flavor. We asked for their best margaritas and were recommended the house. This definitely used mix but not at an obnoxiously sweet concentration. The rim limes were a bit dry and sad.

I love to eat here because the food is very good and what really won me over are their homemade flower tortillas. Well sometimes Ill swing by and pick up a dozen or two with no problems, but today I did just that and got home to realize they were not homemade this day. I call up there to make sure they were not going to store bought, and the lady told me that they do that sometimes because they fun out. The thing for me is I dont have a single problem going to HEB to get store bought tortilla. I got charged over $20 here and HEB would have charged me less than $10. Had someone just told me they werent homemade I would have left and went somewhere else that makes them homemade or gone to HEB. I love this place and will definitely keep going, but would like to know what Im getting before I buy it. I definitely gave 5 stars because I know stuff happens. I just wanted to bring it to someones attention.

The salsa and the green sauce is way watery all of a sudden and they put that watery salsa on my chili Reno and it ruins the meal. The refried beans are two watery. They did better before. I don t know if they fired the cook and hard a new one no idea.

To be completely honest, I was a little concerned when I saw the amount of gringos dining here tonight. But .as soon as the salsa hit the table I knew it was going to be a good meal. The salsa was perfect. A little chunky and a good amount of cilantro. Green sauce was tasty as well. Anytime I try a Tex Mex/ Mexican restaurant for the first time, it s 100% that I m ordering the cheese enchiladas. If they have a plate with enchiladas and carne guisada, 200% chance that I m getting that. The enchiladas were so cheesy and the carne guisada incredibly tender. Refried beans had the perfect flavor and the rice was good as well. Not one thing to complain about on this plate. The service was prompt and friendly. My waitress was very energetic and upbeat, and she kept my glass filled. All in all, a great experience tonight and I can t wait to return.

The margaritas are legit! The servings were large and the service was great. The chips, salsa, and queso were delicious. My wife is learning Spanish and enjoys engaging in conversation with fluent speakers. The staff were so kind in humoring her. Good food and good drinks are fine but good people make an experience. Came to have lunch after church. Restaurant was full, but there were seats available. Waitress was attentive and friendly. I had the quesabirria tacos, which were delicious. The rest of my family had chicken enchiladas, chicken burrito and the summer plate. So glad we chose to eat here today.

My first time at this place and I will definitely not return. The food is not that bad but I was expecting something better. The service was very bad. The waitress never arrived. We waited too long to be served until we asked for help. Someone took our order because the waiter was serving another table. as if we werent another table a long wait for the food finally arrived and we ordered habanero sauce and they didnt give us because there was little the waiter finally showed up brought us the food he was never waiting, if you are hungry I recommend you go somewhere else since angry and hungry is not a good combination and the person in charge of the restaurant was present and did not seem interested in the good service ;(
