This is my new favorite restaurant! Its no longer a buffet but its better ! The food is fresh, delicious, made to order and homemade ! You cant go wrong with anything on their menu ive already had 3 different dishes and they were so delicious !!!!! They have the best service too! They have great prices too not !!! I Love this place !!!!

DELICIOUS! Absolutely fantastic food. Every dish we ordered was HOT and SO fresh! Absolutely cannot give enough praise for this restaurant. The portions were huge and more than enough for one person and the service was better than anywhere Ive been in a very long time. Cannot wait to travel to town and visit again

Lam and the family have always treated me and my grandson with the very best of service. The food is just fantastic. Fresh and so delicious. Over the years, it has changed some ( it was buffet mostly back a few years ago), but now it is menu. The portions are very generous. It is a very nice place to eat for lunch especially. Thanks for always treating us like family.

Lunch special was very flavorful and hot. So many veggies in my moo goo gui pan I couldn t eat it all. Won ton soup was flavorful that the green onion just created a very very nice soup. The wonton noodle was very large. The hot biscuit was deep fried to lite perfection and made to order. Wonderful wonderful meal. Food was so hot coming out we had to let it cook a tiny bit. Just like I like it. This was such a treat today. Great service. Thank you China Inn

Been here a few times always get take out cause we like to enjoy multiple dishes. Staff is always polite and food is always hot, well seasoned, great portion size, good meat to veggie ration (for no vegetarian dishes) and good prices. Highly recommend this location to anyone wanting good Chinese food in the Victoria area.

I spent a week in California in March. When me and my buddy flew back into Victoria, my wife had ordered take-out from China Inn to surprise us when we returned. I cant even tell you how good the food was. China B is the best buffet in town, but Id venture say this is one of the best sit-down Chinese food restaurants in town.

To start the Mongolian Beef was excellent, the white rice that came with it ruined the dish rice was undercooked and crunchy. the soda was 2.75 and i got a can of coke yep payed 2.75 for a 12oz can of coke. At least it was cold . Well will not be paying these people for more of the same.

We use to love this place but will not eat there again please check your bill we had 3 lunch special and were charged for an extra 4 items !!!!!! I nicely asked to adjust bill we did not have those extra 4 items He only removed 2 items stating the others charges will cover our Togo styrofoam !!!!! What a treat this restaurant is and very affordable prices! We both got a combination platter option - for $9.99 each which includes an entree with fried rice, 3 crab cream cheese wontons, an egg role, some sweet and sour sauce and of course a fortune cookie. The entrees were large in size and what I immediately noticed was that the sauces were not overpowering. Many times when you eat Chinese food entrees all you taste is the sauce its in, but not in this case. We had beef steak& vegetables and General Joes. The wontons and egg rolls were not in any way greasy and again the goodness on the inside was in full flavor! Definitely a new favorite.

I hadn t eaten here in years before Covid but it s changed a bit. They don t offer the buffet anymore I m assuming due to Covid. Also while the restaurant has interesting statues and other neat Chinese looks, the interior is in serious need of renovation the paint work etc shows the restaurants age. The food was presented well but the taste was not up to par with other restaurants. Also my stomach felt kinda bad the night after so I don t know. I had the Lemon Chicken combination plate and it was around $15. The server was attentive and did plenty refills. But I m still giving it a 3 star for the reasons I ve mentioned above.

THE GOOD: Received everything we ordered using Door Dash from One Cafe ( China Inn). Food was delivered hot and main entrees were fresh. Chicken in both entrees (orange and GJoe s) we re extremely tender and flavorful. THE BAD: Ordered fried chicken wings. Both of us tasted them and both felt they were not good. They tasted spoiled. Threw them into the trash.

This place is truly a hidden gem! I have not tried their buffet because the social distancing. But on a whim, I decided to order because they were one of the only Chinese or Japanese places open on Monday. I was first shocked by the inexpensive price; but what really took the cake, was the food. The combination plates are outstanding. The wontons and egg roll are delicious and not oily for being fried. The meat was quality and the flavor was 100% there! It has become my favorite in Victoria for Asian dining.

A lot of people only known them for their buffet, but if you order from the menu, they had so many great selections to choose from. They also cater to big businesses in the area. Their food was delicious as always. I love their cheese Wontons (crab puffs). The taste of their food is very consistent and almost nostalgic. My first experience here was 20 years ago and they still have the same flavor and authentic taste that I remember. Glad theyre business is still going.
