Chicken strips were very thin and mostly crust. Had to chew them as they were not tender. Fries were very small in size like what settles to the bottom of the package they came in. Rolls and gravy ok along with chicken livers and okra.

Stopped by to grab dinner because we were working all day. Nice young man took our order, but didnt write anything down. Got majority of order correct, but forgot to order a drink. Its great to have a good memory, but please take a quick note on big orders. Food was hot and tasty.

Chicken livers should not be on the menu, I ve tried now about 4 times recently and still they are out and I mean 6pm. I m at the point where I ll no longer go there, it infuriating and ridiculous not to carry everything on your menu. No excuse period!

If your hankering for some fried gizzards this is the place. Its my goto for gizzards. The gizzards are very nice sized. I prefer them soft but Bushs only cooks them one way. Still good though. I like them with freedom fries, white gravy, and a roll. Since after the pandemic I started eating my gizzards differently. I love to put some ranch in a small condiment cup then pour in some buffalo wing sauce. For those who love ranch & wing sauce...together. DELICIOUS! But thats my taste buds. Even just straight wing sauce is great, too. Fanta strawberry w/ ice is my goto drink with fried gizzards or chicken. Ok, so I have never bn inside this location. I always go to drive-thru. Service is good for the way drive-thru is done here. And, yes the food is good here!

I just got home from picking up some sweet teas from them, and let me say they are always so sweet. Today was even better than most days, the young boy who took my order(i didnt get his name) was so patient, considering I had my dog with me and he wanted all the attention. My first visit I was not impressed. On my second visit, I noticed little pleasant things. Like the chicken pieces were larger and meatier than the big chains. Warm dinner rolls like the original KFC as a child. Not lousy biscuits. The breading was nice, crispy, and traditional. No special 11 herbs & spices or hot spicy marinade. I will go back and recommend it.

In Victoria, we normally go to Grandy s, but this time we went next doir to Bush s Chicken. We tried both the chicken and tenders and each was fresh, juicy, and abundant. The service was very friendly, and next time we are in town, we will be back.

We usually love Bushs but not today. We live an hour away from Victoria and when we go into Victoria we love to stop for fried chicken at Bushs. Yesterday we ordered quite a bit of chicken and tenders in fact, we had 2 orders, for two families. The chicken was so dry, no flavor, and the crust was so tough it could have broke a tooth. The mac and cheese was so watery it leaked inside the bag. It was more like soup. The mashed potatoes and gravy had absolutely no flavor. Our rolls were under the chicken and were greasy and mashed flat. We were very disappointed. I hope things impove, as Bushs is one of our favorite places in Victoria. On a positive note, our server was very nice and polite. The tea was very good. The Matamoros and The Cavazos Families...

The BEST chicken with friendly employees! This is now our only chicken restaurant. The chicken had a golden crispy crust that wasnt greasy. The fried okra was cooked perfectly. I will definitely be going back and recommending this restaurant.
