I paid this lawyer over $5000 and he couldnt even win my case and my ex wife presented herself with No Lawyer and I still lost the case after alomst a year waiting just so he can tell me theres nothing he can do. Definitely Dont recommend this lawyer. He just wasted time on purpose to keep all my money knowing he Probably would not win the case. Cause supposedly he said it would be done in 3 months but ended up needing a year I guess maybe that was on purpose just so he can take all the reserves money knowing he would not win. Definitely dont recommend this lawyer dont waste your time and money. After paid he didnt answer call or my emails. Definitely dont recommend this lawyer

I was quoted 5,000$ for two cases said that was steep asked if he could make an attorney inmate phone call to the person that needed assistance, he asks Me how does he do that your a lawyer, and you don t know how to make a phone call to an inmate after I said that he HUNG UP on me after telling me goodluck. I ve dealt with a lot of lawyers NEVER got hung up on very unprofessional.

My aged friend went to this attorney against all our advice. She was given the agreed final decree which covered most of the components but when the final decree came into her hands, she was surprised beyond words. Nothing that was agreed upon was reflecting in the final decree. Now her husband is more abusive. He still continues to live with her. Her life is more miserable than before. He charged her premium fee. All in vain. Her husband is sitting at home and mocking at her. Please do your homework of all the pros and cons before going to this attorney, This attorney lacks integrity & humanity. He doesnt respond to her emails or calls. She is left hopeless and helpless. All that we can do at this time is Pray for her. No sir, I am writing this review for the right firm. I sat in your office personally waiting for my friend.

(Sorry this is long. After years of being chicken about reviewing I felt the need to really explain) It s been a while since I ve stepped in Pelley Law Office s doors. Back then I was ashamed of what I was going through. When it was over and sarah asked me to write a recommendation for the office and I balked. I didn t want my name out there. I thought I would be judged. Over these past couple years I realize how right she and Mr. Pelley were about everything, including how many amazing people file bankruptcy. I can t tell you how many people I know who have told me that they ve also filed bankruptcy. I just thought there d be a stigma, I d be alone, and I was wrong. When I came in to the office I had already taken a second lien on my house and gone through half my 401(k) trying to pay creditors, and I was in the exact same place financially as i was before. I almost didn t go through with the initial interview, but I thought I d at least sit down with someone to tell them that I wasn t going to go through with it. The young woman I spoke to just started talking to me like a friend and I guess it broke me down. Then she gave me some calm and pretty basic information, but it resonated with me. She said something likely happened to me that was completely out of my control that led me here, because bankruptcy isn t on anyone s bucket list. I had had an abusive husband, a divorce, and subsequent job loss because he kept harassing me at work. He didn t pay child support, or his half of the debt per the divorce. I had also had some very serious medical problems, both physical and mental and had recently my lost my mother. I cried in her office. Ugly cry. Like bad. She hugged me and told me to please let go of those financial worries. She told me it was her job to worry about those now. I don t know why I believed her but I did. She would respond to emails even late at night. She asked permission to come to my hearing. When she was out the other staff were just as sweet. Mr. Pelley led me through the hearing so easily I couldn t believe it was over so fast. He was amazing too. Everything was so easy once I was brave enough to make the decision. If she is still there, or sees this, I would want to say thank you from me and my kids, and I m sorry I was took scared to write earlier. Life has been so much better these last few years. I have really found my feet again, and my strength, thanks to God mostly, but also Pelley Law Office, and of course Sarah.

I have had a case since about july of 2018 and they took my retainer. I have been calling to get an update on my case and each and every time they tell me they will call me back and have yet to get a call back. I have called a good 10 times throughout within that year. Its sad that I chose this branch for my case because of the high reviews and Im the one leaving a one star one. All I need is an update on my case thats a year old. Shouldnt be that hard.

0 ZERO stars would be given if I could for this law firm. IF U R A PERSON OF COLOR DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM...U will not get good results. 1st - Had appt. Walked in, no one at reception desk, ok no problem, ring bell a blonde woman walks from the back FROWNING AT ME LIKE WHY R U HERE...I tell her I have a 1:00PM appt time, no introduction, just hands me an interview sheet to complete and walks away. OK then, as I am completing the form. Quinton Pelley walks out and takes the interview sheet from me and we head to his office. I have some paperwork that I pass over to him to review...HE IMMEDIATELY begins to tell me that I need to take what the DA has stated because, he doesnt want to take my money because he charges $5k for his services and I surely can not afford him because thats how he built his business on fees like that. What he fell to realize was I had the money in full for my legal services regardless of the cost. In addition, what he said I should do was not why I came to see him but he never asked me any thing about my case just looked at paperwork and told me that he could not help me. He was being interviewed is what he didnt realize. No harm, no foul because I definitely dont want him representing me with his condescending tone. would be hard for me to explain how different I felt walking out of Pelley Law office after my initial consultation with Sarah, and how I felt walking in. It was like a weight had been lifted. For the first time in a long time I felt like everything was going to be OK. I even cried a little, and I m a dude. There was no judgement, only compassion and understanding. She helped me realize that the medical problems and subsequent job loss, were completely out my control, and that although I felt quilt about not being able to pay my bills, that that feeling was misguided. I remember her saying the banks are doing just fine, and that I had probably already paid for what I purchased several times over. She also said that the creditors will show me no loyalty, and therefore I should follow their example. She was right: 20 years of good credit and no missed payments meant nothing to them. The process was seamless. I always knew what was going on, and I got emails just checking on how I was doing. Chip met me for my hearing. Again, he said it would be simple and straightforward and he was true to his word. It didn t hurt that I felt like I had a linebacker representing me. I would recommend to anyone who is struggling with their debts to call Sarah, before they light more money on fire and end up their office anyway. Hired Chip Pelley to represent me on a contested divorce. Most or none of the promises from our first meeting were met. I was not only deeply disappointed with the representation -- but with his staff for double booking appointments, and failing to return calls at least two times. Im still reaping the failure of his representation to this day. The bottom line-- there was no representation. The other attorney called the shots. Period. Im not sure if he just didnt care, or if his concern was more on big money cases. Mine was about a broken family with children with special needs, and in my opinion he simply didnt care to fight. At the end of my representation, he sent me an email stating half truths told by the opposing attorney and made me feel as if I had not disclosed information, but didnt bother to clarify with me during mediation; he just let the other party run the show. If you are seeking a family law attorney -- Mr. Chip Pelley is not for you. TRUST ME.

Pelley Law was a pleasure to work with. Im not a fan of complicated legal issues and/or paperwork nor do I know anyone who particularly enjoys these topics however Pelley Law made these things as smooth as possible and explained them in ways that were easy to understand what was going on. They always kept us up to date on the process things were going through and were quick to respond to calls and emails when I had more specific questions but didnt/couldnt make it into their office in person to discuss. Most times emails were responded back to within 30mins to an hour but never exceeded 24 hours to get a response back. This was impressive to me. After contracting Quinton Pelley for my criminal case he routinely showed up tardy to court dates, one time showing up after the judge closed the court room for the day. The few times we spoke about the case specifics he was negligent about the details and misspoke about the individuals involved, order of events, general details and circumstances of the case. He went so far as to try to pressure me to enter a plea that I was not comfortable with despite my direct request to have the case reset. No one should ever have to deal with a lawyer like this. After I fired Mr. Pelley I was able to hire a more experienced attorney and have the case dismissed.

The Pelly Law Firm recently handled my bankruptcy. During a ridiculously long and drawn out divorce, I discovered my now ex-husband had run up untold lines of credit in my name and defaulted on them all. Add to that, a hefty IRS liability with my name attached and you can imagine what a financial quagmire I was in when the divorce dust settled. My wife and I were going through hard times. Enough to where we considered divorce. She reached out to this group of thieves to make sure she was protected if in fact we did divorce. After no action was taken and we reconciled she went in to request no action be taken and relieve them of service and requested any unused retainer be refunded which would have been damn near all the $5360. They have denied returning anything and denied helping her with any further cases stating that that money was for a divorce case only. We are looking into suing this firm of criminals and highly recommend using another law office.

I highly recommend Pelley Law Office to anyone that is in need of legal protection in bankruptcy protection. The whole staff was very professional and treated us with respect and dignity throughout the process. Ever since 2007, we struggled with the Real Estate market, which strained our expense situation to cover a house that was tremendously under water. Two years ago I had a major on job accident that ended my career and landed me on disability, as many others with financial difficulties I had to turn to bankruptcy. Fortunately Mr. Pelly pointed out several issues that could of cost me thousands in the long run if I filed early. I had to postpone for over a year and he was very gracious and offered help all along the way, prior to the filing. .. The paperwork required can be quite a chore, but he went over all my papers to make sure I didnt overlook anything. A very gracious and easy person to work with, always returns my calls and even sends me written verification for every step along the way, including calls and letters if he hasnt heard from me for a few weeks.. The initial consultation was free and the fees were straight forward and nothing added later. I recommend him very highly to all my friends. .. NOTE: Make sure you disclose EVERYTHING on your pre-filing forms you have to fill out, especially if there may be a pending personal injury claim.
