My wife and I love pulled pork. They have daily special. Being budget conscious we go in for every day special sandwich, drink and bag of chips $6.99 not bad. They have great service and dining area always clean. TY, God bless .

Came in during hurricane Beryl. Needed some food and just used Google. A bunch were closed but this was open and close to hotel. Any way brisket tender but not to tender Im crunchy and need a lil textuee, ex said ribs were alright but shes picky. Sausage great a lil spicy on sauce. Almost $16 for a tough brisket sandwich on a soggy bun and a side of canned ranch style beans. You can get a plate with two sides at Mumphords for under $12 and they are real pit masters. Who in their right mind would go a second time? Absolutely never again. Not even for free food.

Was in town for work ordered to go. Worst Dickeys I ve had. The pork was questionable to say the least. My meal was cold. Meat color was off and texture was off. The bun was completely soaked & soggy. I couldn t even finish it. My sweet tea was also most certainly unsweet. pecan pie was a blob wrapped in plastic. No utensils for to go. Pretty disappointing. I wouldn t recommend this location.

***Edit: Both corporate and local management have reached out to resolve the issue with my order.*** Disappointed. I love the meat but the rest of the store is always hit and miss. Per my DELIVERY receipt the messiest and smallest sandwich (does not look like a quarter pound as it should be) I ve ever received from this store. I did ask for saucy but that doesn t mean a hot mess I can t touch. I also received green beans I won t eat and didn t order, bread I didn t order, utensils I didn t order, and the potato salad is clearly from Walmart. The potato salad is a frequent issue with this store. I ve never had this problem at other Dickey s. They run out and buy from Walmart claiming it as theirs, but theirs looks completely different. How do they run out every week??? For multiple days??? When I called the store about the drink (because the delivery person allegedly asked for the drink and was told there wasn t one), I was told I could come pick it up. I ordered this delivered! I can t go pick it up. The gentleman on the phone offered me a dollar credit but I don t need a credit. I need my drink! He seemed very much like this wasn t his problem, it was my problem. He wasn t rude, just didn t care. After paying the higher delivery prices and tip, I don t think expecting my drink is too much to ask for. Very disappointed.

Solid, consistent sides and rarely a wait. Dickey s has barbecue down to a science, which means you know what you are going to get each time. It would be fun if they were allowed a little bit more room to experiment. Jalapeño beans are available but not listed on the menu, you have to ask. I d love jalapeño mac and cheese, I ve asked, I d have to make it spicy myself. Staff is friendly and courteous, trays could use some more frequent cleaning though.

We ordered the sliced brisket sandwiches and potato salad for the family. Huge mistake! Not only could the brisket could have been smoked for another 4 hours, but it was sliced WITH the grain. Ive had more tender jerky. You cant have underdone brisket and have it sliced wrong, if youre gonna mess it up, choose one if you want an excuse. This is not representative of Texas or any other barbecue. Leave town and dont look back. Garbage.

The food here is excellent! It s in a small shopping area right next to Detar on Demand near the Walmart and Whataburger on Navarro. I got lunch, and I got the barbecue chicken combo with my sides as potato salad and barbecue beans. It came with a bread roll and a drink (I got sweet tea).. I paid about $17 which isn t so bad considering the food is really yummy and the portions are just right. They have three sauces: sweet, spicy, and dickeys regular. I got the regular. Very fast service on a Sunday (yup they re open Sunday.) polite service as well. They do have a few tables where you can sit to dine in even though it s a small store. They also told me if I save my yellow cup I can get it in for a cheaper drink or refill or something. Anyway!!! Give this place a try it s tasty barbecue!

We came in after the lunch rush so pretty much had the place to ourselves. We had a two meat sandwich special, beef and pork, very delicious. Two sides each, Mac and cheese was good, slaw not to sweet and tasty, corn bread ok. Three BBQ sauce were available, sweet and spicy, not to sweet, not to spicy, definitely good. Overall bad experience. Places order online Friday.. 45 minutes in advance. Showed up at the restaurant went to the restroom it was so dirty and seemed like it it not kept up at all! They were out of sausage.. creamy spinach sides.. which was included in our plate combos.. everything was dirty like they had been hit during a rush but the restaurant was empty and the were grouped together talking in the middle behind the counter. During the online process I asked for barbecue sauce pickles and onions to be packaged for a to-go order.. sadly when I got to my in laws there were no sauce, utensils, napkins, or condiments I would not recommend this place due to the cleanliness, service, and not giving a person notice of their food outages before coming to pick it up. Always a great stop for good food! On the week days, they have a great special that my boyfriend and I usually eat: the Pit Boss Special. Pulled pork sandwich, a bag of chips, and a drink for $4.99! Thats only $10.81 after tax for two people! And they dont skimp on the meat. A lot of times, I just eat the sandwich and Im left completely satisfied. Clean environment, friendly staff, and even have board games in the corner if you want to hang out for a while!

This is a four-star joint. The place is clean and the guys working in the kitchen are super nice. However, its hard to be a Dickeys in Victoria when we have places like Mumphords Place downtown. If you want decent BBQ and youre on the north side (and dont want to drive all the way across town), then you should try this place. Its definitely good.

Look this place originated in my hometown DFW. Dickeys is legendary. I say read about their history. This location though we didn t enjoy 100 %. The reason is our meats didn t taste hot enough. Our food on the cold side which made us question their kitchen food prep rules that apply by health code. It made us want heat us our meal which is disappointing. The Mac and cheese disappointed as when you sell that product consumers want an awesome southern mac and cheese. That recipe needs overhauled to sell a great product in the south.

Had lunch there this past . The Ribs and Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage were absolutely amazing. Friendly environment and staff was amazing. Daniel was very polite and helpful in helping me choose my plate. Definitely will be back.

They are usually good but the day we went their brisket was dry, the green beans had a funny after taste, my niece got the loaded potatoes and they tasted funny too, the roll was delicious the okra super, the tea was great they were really friendly. Just needs a little work. Great place for a quick lunch.

When I think of BBQ, I think of smoke. There was no indication of a true smoke in any of the meat. We got the brisket, brisket burnt ends, jalapeño cheddar kielbasa, pulled pork and chicken breast. The brisket was tough. And nothing screamed, Wow! This is good! We were a bit disappointed.

The food was great, although roll was unappealing hard and chewy. Service was fast, friendly! My only complaint was that it was absolutely freezing in there! My husband were in a hurry to eat and leave,our nose were running like it was 30 in there. Im hot natured and keep our home AC set on 68-69 but that was like a freezer!
