Came here yesterday and I have to say it was very good all the way around every inch of the way from the moment we walked in, food and service was awesome. I got the sirloin steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli, I wanted the sirloin medium well and that is exactly how it came, it was so juicy and tender, I think it was the best sirloin I have had in a long time. Thank you and I look forward to coming back!!

All I wanted was a good bowl of French onion soup and a good baked potato. The potatoes are wrapped in foil during cooking which results in a steamed potato, with clammy wet flesh instead of a true baked potato with a fluffy texture nutty flavor. The server admitted the truth about the steamed potato so I skipped it and just ordered the soup. I was disappointed. It had a little disc of cheese in the middle instead of a layer of cheese that sealed the dish. The soup itself had an off-putting metallic sour taste. I realize that I ordered two items about which I am somewhat of a stickler, but I left most of the soup in the bowl. I have only eaten at Outback once before this, but I wont be eating there again. To be unable to execute two simple strait forward dishes doesnt make me eager to trust them with anything more complicated.

The food was just okay. Not to toot my own horn, but....toot toot I could fix things better than this place. The bread was very dry and no flavor. Husband got the blooming onion batter chicken with sides. The oil must have been old bc it had a bad taste and just the look of it you could tell it was over cooked. It said it came with 2 sides. However when we got the bill we were charged $3.99 each for them. I got the shrimp/chicken Alfredo pasta. It was okay. Just didnt have any kick to the flavor. Kind of blend. It is a bit pricey here. But , so is everyone else these days. I definitely will not be returning.

Another Screwed up order. Talked to Dillion with the management team. No sympathy, no compensation, no accountability. 6 take out orders along with 6 bad reviews. It doesn t make a difference if you order online or face to face. 90.00 order with a 10.00 tip. Ordered at 3:30 pm. Not a busy time. Y hey need to send these guys back to McDonalds. I WAS TOLD BY SCOTT THE MANAGER THAT HE WOULD REFUND ME $45.00. NEVER HAPPENED AND ANOTHER MANAGER SAID THEY CAN T DO THAT. NO WORD FROM CORPORATE EITHER! UPDATE: Stopped by again for a Take Out order. Ordered from the manager himself this time.Explained to him what happened on my last Take Out Order. They did not disappoint. Got home. No loaded mashed potatoes. I called the manager that took my order. He said it was his fault and to come back by to get them. I wouldn t drive across Tyler let alone 30 miles to get them. CHECK YOUR ORDERS BEFORE YOU LEAVE. THEY CERTAINTY DON T!! Stopped by and ordered from the takeout desk. Bruce was very pleasant. I ordered at 3pm so I made sure that I ordered dinner portions and was charged accordingly. I got home and had one order of Alice Spring Chicken as a dinner and be one a lunch portion. Ordered 2 loaded baked potatoes. Just got butter. I called and was offered to make me the portion that I ordered. I live 30 miles away so not a solution. I was refunded $21.00. I wish I would not given Bruce a $10.00 tip. I don t know how the correct portions were overlooked. Very disappointing.

I came here for dinner with my husband and granddaughters, who by the way are 15 and 17. The dinner was okay just needed a couple steaks to be cooked more, but when the food returned the manager came to check on us, scott. He gave me the creeps and after the dinner my granddaughters said they noticed him staring at them inappropriately. Hopefully something happens and his supervisor sees this.

I ordered online after working 57 hrs and spent 90$ . Food was horrible. Very dry tasted like they didn t want to work that night . I also added in a 4oz lobster tail that was about as big as 2 shrimp stacked together. Total waste of money and time . I tried to treat myself to a nice meal because I worked for it . Doing countless hours in heath care I might add just to be utterly disappointed. I called to try make a complaint but the hosts who was very nice said the manger Dylan was very busy and he would get back with me . Well he never did . The pasta was very dry and way too much for the amount of shrimp and unseasoned steak we had got . The amount of Alfredo s sauce was laughable compared to how much pasta we had . Complete waste of 90$ in this economy.

Customer service was so above and beyond that I lack the words to adequately describe it. They paid attention to my food allergy. They engaged in casual conversations. Every member of the staff that we interacted with was charming and attentive. I had Tiffany help me, and even got to talk with Heather about my allergy. I came in this evening following a horrible experience at another dining establishment close by which caused me to walk out! I was warmly greeted by the Host Tim, who got me seated made a few suggestions and let me know who my server was. I had the pleasure of being served by Wen, whose service was a 10*, she was attentive not hovering, kept me informed through my meal, always a smile, and made sure to check after each course was delivered to make sure I was pleased. Lovely Caesar salad, Coconut Shrimp, Sweet Potato and Cheesecake. I met the manager Logan and complimented the staff and let him know how pleased I was. He is a real people person! They never missed a beat even during an interior remodel. And bathrooms clean and tidy. This review comes from a retired chef and diner owner of over 40 yrs, its difficult to impress me yet they did! Can we give 0 stars? We ordered to go- it was what I chose for my birthday dinner- so excited. The food was inedible. Our appetizer burnt and disgusting. The steaks which were supposed to be medium were well beyond well done, tough and chewy. Even the vegetables were cooked to mush. We called to complain and they offered to bring new food but it would be at least 30 or more minutes, which is understandable but we were starving. We ate what we could and threw the rest in the trash. And it was not cheap!! We will not be eating at this Outback again and highly recommend you save your money.

I wanted to Brag on this place for doing such a great job the other night celebrating our 5 star SNF facility Reunion Plaza. Cedric went above and beyond waiting on us, getting our drinks, and food out really quick. I communicated with Heather the manager the whole time and I was impressed with the hospitality. Tawnya made our lunch so special. She thanked my father for his service & was polite & patient when taking his order. My father doesnt hear that well anymore but you would never know that by how she interacted with him. Her sincere appreciation for his service & compassion she showed towards my father made me grateful we chose Outback. From the moment we entered the restaurant it was first class. Cedric your waiter is probably the best waiter Ive ever had and Ive been to many restaurants here in Tyler over the past 20 years. He was exceptional from his introduction to the way he took our orders and is very knowledgeable of the menu and options..he also went above to make sure our orders were perfect and offered so much assistance. The meal was brought out hot n ready and the appetizers were delicious. We had booming chicken . Tazamanian chili. Booming shrimp salmon. Queensland chicken pasta and Queensland steak. Hostess was very congenial and helpful . We both ordered the featured Filets with house salad , baked potato . The steaks were not intact filets but were medallions , covered in mushroom gravy, (What)? I visited the Tyler location 6/16/24. My server was Wen and she is awesome at her job. The owner has a great old school mentality. He believes that you (the customer) could have chosen anywhere in Tyler to eat but you chose his restaurant. He literally said that to me as I was discussing a menu issue with him. Blooming onion burger was excellent, juicy, MW cooked perfe t. Caesar salad fresh and cold. Served within a minute of ordering. Burger came out @ 10.5 minutes. Would eat here anytime.

We hadnt dined at Outback in several years, but we had gift cards so we gave it a go. The host was extremely nice and told us how much he loved his job, great way to start the experience. Our server was Cedric, he was fabulous! He was very attentive, we were never without a drink or steak sauce. He made us laugh and really added some fun to our visit! The food was really good, steaks cooked to perfection! The cocktails were great and fairly priced. Cedric boxed up all our leftover food and sent home fresh bread and butter for us as well. Great experience, we will definitely be back again soon!

This is THE BEST Outback restaurant there is. The food is GREAT and the staff is AMAZING! Cedrick was our waiter and he is awesome. He made us feel like family and he has to have ESP because he knew what we wanted before we even had to ask. He went above and beyond any waiter weve ever had. Such a nice, thoughtful gentleman. We met one of the Managing Partners, Rudy, he too treated us like family. Very kind and personable. They made our early Fathers Day lunch the best weve had yet. Oh...and again, the food is great too! Dietary restrictions: Im not a fan of pepper and they kindly omitted it on my steak. They did what they could to make our experience top-notch and they succeeded. Thank you, Cedrick!

My girlfriend and I have been to many restaurants and have encountered mediocre services. We started coming to outback a few months ago, and this is why we have never looked back since. The owner, Rudy, is the most wonderful and caring person I have ever met. He always kept checking in with not only us but with his staff if they needed anything or if he could help. He also bought my girlfriend and I desert, which was very tasteful. I cant forget about Tawnya. She made the experience very memorable and was on point about everything. Our food tasted exquisite, so Kudos to the cooks. We will be back!!

We (2 of us) were there Sunday evening about 7:00, probably about only about 30% capacity, full, finally got seated, after about minutes later, then there was a line waiting behind us too be seated, Once our server got to us, another 10 minutes, ordered 2 waters, salads and the steak and Lobster special. Again after 10 minutes the server came back and said that they were out of Lobster but he can substitute 4 shrimp or some kind of chicken instead of the Lobster. My wife took the shrimp and I just passed on that (because I came for Lobster) and I just had the steak, but he said he would adjust the bill for not having the Lobster. And about another 10 minutes we received our salads from someone else but still didn t get our waters or any bread yet, they got our water and bread for us. We received our meals from another person and the server didn t even come by and check on us. We received the bill and he took off 5.00 for not getting my Lobster. Not too happy with that.. We ll never be back .!!!!! And the funny thing, that night after we got home, I received an email from Outback promoting the steak and Lobster special .. very disappointing !!!

We ordered delivery via Uber from here for my birthday tonight. Wildly disappointing. Several things wrong with my order. No sauces, unloaded potato, salad still had tomatoes, no butter even for the bread at least, all items arrived cold. Not a single item was correct or done well and this was over an $100 order. Ive eaten at outback in the past, in Houston and Dallas, so we decided to try the one in Tyler. We were not impressed. The food had no seasonings, the steak was not what Im accustomed to. It was cooked correctly, but was tough. I was surprised at how much we were charged. I feel it wasnt worth the price. The blooming onion was ok, but not like I remember. We wont return.

Visited for first time in a while. Been going to various Outbacks for years. Generally good and predictable . This location is now using a hot spice,, maybe cayenne or curry . Not what i expected. Not to my liking for sure. Better off ordering without any seasoning. Order was not delivered correctly. One grilled , one pan cooked. Both ordered grilled. Vegetables were.not cooked enough as half were very crunchy. Some just perfect. Fyi.
