Torchy s is a great place for a light, healthy meal. If you re a vegetarian, the fried avocado is my go-to choice and tasty! There s just the right amount of spice. The food is consistently good and the service is quick and friendly. The bar is nice and the restaurant is clean. Try it out!!! Good central location.

WOW.. just wow.. I had no idea! Best margarita I have had in a long time.. smooth, cant taste the alcohol.. but felt it! I had read a review about bad service at the bar.. ours was amazing. Bartender greeted us as soon we sat down and was attentive whole time.. oh and the food was fantastic

Torchy s is my favorite ever since I discovered them in Austin Texas! We just left the location in Tyler Texas awesome as always! Please consider putting one in Jacksonville Texas where I live. We ordered a combo beef and chicken Damn Good Fajita Plate. First the girl at the counter had to go ask someone if we could get a combo even though it was clearly posted on the sign she pointed out to us. It was very delicious, however the side portions were larger than the Fajita portion. We didnt get equal amounts of the chicken and beef. Oddly enough, there was more beef and very little chicken. The person with me said he didnt want pico, the girl said it comes on the side, so I said Id take it on the side and she charged us for a side of pico that we didnt actually ask for. We didnt realize this until after we left and were talking about it. The atmosphere was great although a little noisy. I felt like everyone was having to talk loud just be heard. Im giving my first experience here 5 stars as I mentioned before, the food did taste fantastic.

The food is outstanding. However the service at the bar was abysmal. We walked in and sat at the one corner of the u-shaped bar, well within the peripheral view of BOTH men working the cash register. Neither of them acknowledged our presence for at least 5 minutes. There were only 7 customers at the bar when we sat down. The worst part was a single woman came in and sat at the other corner. It took even longer for them to acknowledge her and that was AFTER they served a young man who walked in long after she did. The food and atmosphere can be top-notch but if people cant get served it is irrelevant. Does the importance of Customer Service even get taught at this establishment? It doesnt appear so.

ordered a green chile pork missionary style and the corn tortilla was cooked to the point of a tostada with the cheese not melted in the least. I get things happen but someone had to attempt to fold the tortilla and witness it break into 20 pieces and still sent it out. Im guessing since it was a to go order they were hoping I wouldnt notice until I left. They were right, but unfortunately I didnt want to let it go (for the second time) I used my tortilla AKA chips to eat my guac and then ate the pork with a fork. queso is delicious as always

Ive never been so disappointed. Couldnt wait to try it. Wont be back. The first time there, the girl just watched us stand there. It was kinda dark we were looking for a sign cause thats how the world ticks,to see if we seat ourselves and I looked around and the lady who didnt speak good English showed us the counter where the cashier had been standing and looking in at us. Now I had to look at the menu, cause I had it on my phone and believe me it was not the same. And the girl was a little snotty attitude wasnt helping. I was already there but wanted to leave. But we ordered something so we could move on with our day. It was nothing to talk about. Very disappointed. Wouldnt refer anybody to them.

The cashier, Rebecca, was very welcoming and as my first time here, was excellent in recommending tacos according to my preferences. The food was out quickly and I was thoroughly impressed.

I was helped by a young man Jackson last Friday night and wanted to shout him out for his amazing service.
