The court appointed me Mr. Venza at the beginning of my case. At that time he got me what was the best outcome for the charge. I didn t finish my terms of agreement and was back in court. They were looking for some time behind bars. I had let Mr. Venza know that things in my life were totally different and if they gave me that time I would literally lose everything. He kept fighting for me and came back with a decision that I told my family would be the best outcome but would never happen. I figured at least more probation time and more money and long drives back and forth from my hometown to Fort Bend Co. Went to court that morning and the thing I could only wish and dream about is what he got me. Now here I am done with everything and I owe it all to my lawyer. He gave me the second chance I needed. John venza took a very stressful situation for me, and made me feel way more comfortable about the possibilities of a better outcome. My charge had been a felony and if you could only imagine I was super scared. It was the most nerve reckoning moment for me in my life but somewhere in the midst of that I found John online...... The best way for me to put it is I felt like I was led to John and Im glad I was. I couldnt imagine doing this without him. I was more ecstatic about my outcome, he got my case dismissed and it didnt even take a whole year for him to do it. Im writing this review for Mr. John Venza Jr, a criminal defense attorney in Fort Bend County. I was introduced to John during a prior incident in which he represented my partners son after being charged for possession of a small amount of marijuana, a low level misdemeanor. Turned out it belonged to someone else but was found in his car. After meeting John for the first time my partner and I both thought the same thing - John was very knowledgeable, clearly experienced and very professional. His compassion was also evident in the very first meeting and over the coming months as the case started to unfold Johns patience and perseverance paid off with a dismissal for my partners son. So, a couple of years later, I found myself in an alcohol & prescription drug related incident and was charged with a class A misdemeanor (not a felony but its not a charge to take lightly). I turned to Mr. John Venza Jr for help and he accepted my case. This incident occurred just as the Covid-19 pandemic was getting traction so most court dates were being reset - this led to a rather protracted period of engagement with several DAs but once again, Johns patience, persistence and knowledge paid off as the charge was reduced initially then finally dismissed all together. The charges against me did not read very well but John never gave up. I can not say enough about his commitment and perseverance and I would also say my case would probably not have turned out so positively without Johns careful handling and attention. Okay so I will start with how professional John L. Venza is and how caring he is of his clients. He will never leave you hanging, he will answer all of your questions at anytime whenever, and give you his all when representing you. I ve used John Venza many times. He even has a nickname at the courthouse as Johnny Venza because everyone loves him. For example I was being accused of something bogus and my parents had hired a lawyer who wasn t doing anything to help me, switched to Johnny Venza and my case was dismissed the very next month that s how good he is.
