This restaurant was exceptional. I loved it so much. I believe her name was Niah. She was an amazing waitress and helped us pick out some items on the menu. I really enjoyed the tacos. It was crafted to perfection. I can t wait to come back and usually I don t get excited to go back to a restaurant. But this is different. Thank you to the staff here. I will be back soon!

We moved here recently and were so happy to have a CL close by, as it was always a favorite in our home town. We were seated and received our drinks in a timely manner and gave our order. After 40 minutes we did not even receive our queso, even after reminding our server, and never received requested soda/water refills. Even after requesting a check for our sodas so we could go elsewhere there was zero acknowledgement, much less an apology, that we were leaving and hadnt received anything. It was not busy, and even if it had been where was the manager running food and making sure drinks were filled? Walking the floor and asking when people are just sitting there with empty glasses and no plates? It s the only reason you are there. Will definitely not be returning.

I would give CL 10 stars!! I had read some bad reviews a few years ago on this place so we have not eaten at CL in a long time. We decided to give it another try and so we ate there last night. I am super happy that we gave it another try. It was awesome!!! I eat salmon almost everywhere I go and this is one of the ONLY places that did not overcook the salmon. My son got the fajita bowl and the steak fajita meat was amazing!! It was all delicious!! Our waitress was on point and super friendly (it helped that she kept telling us how cute our grandkids are :)). And the prices are not bad at all. It was an all around great experience and we will definitely be back very soon!!

My husband and I Mexican food and we are always on the hunt for the next place to try. Cantina Laredo has your typical menu items but reimagined with quality ingredients. The salsa is a perfect example. Its awesome, has a smoky and spicy flavor but isnt the typical red color. The queso with beef is a must before hand. And if Emily is working, youll not only have a great meal but your service will be next level. #GoogleGal

Waited an hour and 20 minutes for them to forget to place our order. Then when they finally did they place our order they were out of ingredients. When I just asked my ticket so that we could leave the staff was quite loud about their smart comments. Will not be returning.

Unfortunately, the manager is inconsistent when it comes to so called company policies regarding strollers . We have ate at this restaurant numerous times with our baby in a secure Doona stroller, and have even sat across from another couple dining in the restaurant with an infant in a Doona stroller. For some reason, he picks and chooses when to enforce the so called policy , and tonight we were asked to place our baby whom was securely locked in a Doona car seat/stroller, secure to the ground, into a pvc pipe sling elevated off of the ground that could easily be knocked over, how are these safer? The manager does not confront the party regarding this issue and utilizes the hostess to inform patrons of such news after we are seated with chips and salsa. The establishment does not seem family friendly.

Karder was our server and man was he silly! He kept up with us before we needed to ask for anything and he had really good table management between his 7 tables! He really knew his menu and helped us decide between 2 dished by combining them! Food was absolutely perfect! The only thing bad was the gentlemen with the tattoo sleeve brought out our food with a negative attitude and didnt acknowledge our gratitude. Besides that, definitely will be going back! Our party had infants in strollers today. We waited for a table 40 minutes before a host came to tell us that it was company policy that strollers may not be seated at tables. Instead they offered these very flimsy slings that we could place the babies in. After working with the host for an additional 10 minutes we finally asked to speak to a manager who initially refused to confront us himself. Tim took an additional 10 minutes to show up. After pointing out multiple available tables with seating that could fit the party and place the strollers out side of any walking lanes he still refused to seat us unless we moved the carriers from the strollers and placed them in essentially pvc slings. The slings are larger than the Doona strollers present. The policy largely felt like familial discrimination, but frankly we are much more frustrated that they felt it acceptable to have us wait so long before ever communicating with us. It also was not good form to have Tim have his host, who was very polite in an uncomfortable situation, do his dirty work for him. But seriously, it s against company policy to put a stroller in a corner?

I have enjoyed this place in the past, but as of now not really service has really fallen off and the food is just a 50/50 every time you come so its just disappointing I have to change this review. Another major thing is the bathroom almost every time we go is either dirty or had a smell coming up towards the front and its simply awful. I recommend going somewhere else for your money and time.

Normally the food is great me and my wife and two daughters love it but after watching a management named Bobby completely disrespect, belittle,humiliate and even scream at multiple female staff members including my server making them literally cried. Causing my daughters to ask me and my wife uncomfortably questions that I dont think my 6 & 9 year old girls should have had to be exposed to. I have been to Cantina Laredo in Addison and Lewisville. I was expecting the same quality of food. I was disappointed that the menu was not the same. There was no ceviche at this location. The food was not light and fresh and flavorful like the other locations Ive been to. The waitstaff seemed confused. We were left unattended for a long time, as was a couple across from us. They left. A nearby waitress asked if we had been waited on yet. She took over, but it was obvious it wasnt her table. The man playing guitar and singing was the best part of the experience. We will not be going back to this restaurant. The food was not good and the experience was unpleasant. Im sorry that was my take on it.

We were visiting our elderly father, so hoping for some authentic Mexican food, we ordered and picked up. With a tip our bill came to $76.13, which was very high for what we got. Ordered fajita for 2 combination and received enough for 1 person. No sour cream, cheese, silver wear, guacamole, or plates were given. the metal pans they had the food in were leaking all over everything and in the bags. After fighting with a mess to eat, the food was not good at all. What a rip off, save your money, by pass.

The sizzling apple pie was a huge disappointment. The waiter burnt the caramel sauce and the apples were frozen. The queso was also cold. One person at my table ordered enchiladas and everything including the plate was cold. You can tell they microwave their brownie dessert, and also their sides. Their macaroni and cheese is from a box and reheated in the microwave. The enchiladas were sent back because they were cold, and instead they asked for soft tacos. Waiter retuned with a plate of hard tacos, not soft. We were still billed for everything we ordered. The waiter was very nice and eager to fix the issues, however because of the food this company has lost our family s business.

The service was great. The queso and salsa were also really good. But the meal itself fell flat. We each had different things and all agreed: It wasnt bad necessarily but it wasnt good either. I wouldnt pay that price for that quality again. The rice had the consistency and flavor of those Knorr bags you can get at Walmart for $1. The pico was like they dumped a can of Rotel on the plate. The refried beans were whole beans. $70 for 3 people for something I could make better at home isnt worth another visit.

Unbelievable location in our own backyard! The atmosphere was great the moment we walked in. Staff is incredibly friendly and tentative. Drinks are great and at a price you cant beat during happy hour, very unique flavors and presentation. Fresh Guacamole made right in front of you!!! Food came out quick and was packed with flavor. Honestly, I cant say enough good things about this place. If youre on the fence, make the drive over and you wont be disappointed. The waiters and bartenders are good people. The food is solid. However I have eye-witnessed the manager, Bobby yell at his very hardworking staff. The way he berated the staff in front of me and other diners ruined my dining experience. This is a beautiful restaurant and comes pretty close to authentic Mexican food. If you prefer flavorful over greasy rubbery Tex Mex food this is the place for you!! The Spinach Enchiladas (added chicken) were top notch! We also tried the fajita bowl and this was great. My husband had ordered an extra portion of chicken and the server was proactive enough to notice it hadnt been added to the plate and brought it out before we had to ask about it. Everything was fresh and flavorful decently priced and great customer service. Nice relaxing atmosphere and family friendly, highly recommend!!

The food is great, especially the hot sauce, but I cant eat with a fork that is bigger than my face. They recently switched to giant silverware. This is the stupidest thing Ive ever seen at a restaurant. Seriously... get some normal-sized silverware. How is anybody supposed to eat with a fork that is this enormous? (I dont think they have normal-sized silverware.) What were you thinking? Also, the rice tastes like it came out of a can. It reminds me of the rice I had in high school. The chicken had a smokey/bbq-ish flavor and I don t know what kind of beans were on there (they were whole, not refried or el charro) not good and I had to take both chicken and beans off. No Mexican flavor in either and ended up just eating chips with cheese. When I came a few years ago I enjoyed chimichanga but decided to try something different this time. 3 different chicken dishes in our party and we all agreed that the chicken flavor didn t pair well with the dishes. Food was ok , but seemed a little overpriced for the quality. Service was slow, even though they weren t very busy during our visit. Also, their credit card fee was off-putting, to say the least. We went for dinner last night. Food was lukewarm at best. Mexcian rice tasted off and we thought it might of been stale.beans were cold. As we waited for a while for our food we noticed the place was filthy. The AC vents has alot of black soot around them. Workers and waiters were at the bar talking loudiy and horeplaying around. We were tryi g to relax and have a pleasant dinner experience. There is dirty base boards all around the bar area. The waitress we had never smiled. It felt like we were bothering her. The warm welcoming feeling just wasnt there. Seemed and felt like we were not welcomed. I do not recommend!

The whole experience here was just meh . Upon walking in, it took almost 5 minutes for the hostess to look up from her phone to acknowledge we were there. The margaritas are intensely over priced for the quality of the drink. The food was hit and miss throughout our party. However I had the nachos, and they are truly fantastic. Our server Sydney was very sweet. The kicker for our party was the credit card surcharge. As a business owner myself, passing along the fee for running a credit card to the customer is just ridiculous. It s the cost of doing business, which falls on the business. And you aren t told there is a surcharge until you ve already run your card. Granted it does say you can change your mind and use cash, but it s really too late for that at that point. I m beyond excited to have stopped by recently for our first time. Hot chips, frozen margaritas, and fantastic fajitas. Everything from the host to our server was perfect. So, after seeing the commercial come on throughout the day multiple times, I decided to try it. Its sad to say but it wasnt a good experience. The food was not even luke warm, the street corn wasnt cooked throughly. When we told wait staff they asked if we wanted it put in the microwave, not another option given. EDIT the owner reached out to me personally and gave me another set of nachos and they were AMAZING! Completely different then the first batch as I was able to get all the topping on each chip. I dipped them in their salsa as well and they were SO GOOD! Absolutely will be going back. Thankful for an owner who takes the time to make sure things get corrected! Huge chunks of chicken with a few chips and melted cheese on top is nachos? And for $15? never again. Huge disappointment

Bring cash and leave your credit card at home. It seems this location has decided to add on an additional 3.9% to all tickets paid using a credit card. There is no obvious notice of this at the entrance of the restaurant nor on the menu regarding this additional charge. The first time it is mentioned is on the receipt.

Have seen several folks on local Facebook page rave about this place. Not sure what the hype is but I found it horrible. Server was horrible. Our food was literally bought to us 5 minutes after ordering. I know Mexican is fairly quick but my cheese wasnt even melted in my enchiladas. Way way overpriced for sub par food. Didnt even finish my plate it was so cold and horrible. Complete bust if you ask me. Try Javis just up the road. Way better and amazingly great prices.

It was okay, nothing exciting. We only had the Valentine menu. The pricing was very high for food and atmosphere. Use a cc to pay; they charge you the cc fee on top of $$ for a meal. It felt like it was more of a lunch place than a nice dinner place.

Last night we celebrated my birthday dinner with me and my family. First off, the food and drinks were delicious! Our server, Stacy, who serves on the weekends was phenomenal! You could tell she really loves her job because she so effortlessly went above and beyond for us last night. Thank you Stacy for making my birthday so special! Girl, you deserve a raise! Sorry for the photo of empty plates. The food was devoured faster than photos could be taken. Service was swift and slick. Good food came relatively fast and was great. If you want to know what desert looked like before it became an empty plate you should go for some and see it in person . The apple pie was worth burning my mouth for. Steaming hot platter with a sizzling sauce poured around the slice covered in ice cream sent a column of amazing smelling vapor into the rafters.

My wife and I stopped by for an early dinner tonight. Our hostess was amazing and professional. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful. Our waitress was very attentive and polite. The Sunday mimosas along with the brownie dessert was heavenly. Cant wait to return!!!

This place is terrible ! It has gone down hill rapidly over the past few years. The problems are always different. One time we went through 4 bowls of chips before we got any that we could bite thru. They wouldnt break ! Another was cold food, and the beef is always bad. I will not return

We eat out alot throughout the week and we like to hit up different spots everytime. So this time it was Laredos. Well everyone was great the host which was a guy sat me down quickly at a booth near the bar and I was waiting for my +1. The waiter was great and very attentive then the food came. The queso was salty and the salsa was ok.. I oreded the enchiladas which were not up to par with what the restaurants style. They looked like frozen dinner from the freezer at Walmart. They were ok but they looked and tasted kinda basic. But hey that old fashioned whiskey was top notch. We will try again and order something different next time. Price was descent and waitstaff were great. Just the food may need attention.

Really sad. Five of us went on a Monday, resturant was empty, they told us there would be a 20 minute wait because there was a party reservation and were under staffed. Then we said we would go to to bar area and she said no because the tables were only for four. We left and went to Javis where at one point, we had 3 staff at our table. I had heard good things, but the hostess did not encourage us to stay.

We were a party of four and each ordered something different. The food was hot, beautiful arranged and tasted excellent. Service was good too. I couldnt get a Cappuccino which I like after dinner, instead just a black cup of coffee. No creamer or milk available. I will be back!

We went to Cantina Laredo last night. We got there about 9, they close at 10. The hostess was friendly and sat us right away. Stacey, our server was phenomenal. We really just came to drink a margarita and get something small. I ordered the jalapeño soup, Stacey and I talked about how much we love it, and my husband ordered the Flautas. When Stacey went to put in the order she was told they were out of soup. She was soooo super apologetic and instantly went into problem solving mode. I ended up not ordering anything else, but just sharing with my husband. Everytime she came to the table she asked if I was sure she couldn t get me anything, and would continue apologizing. She even offered me something else at no charge. It really was ok. I was a little bummed they didn t have my soup, but we were the ones that got there right before close. Plus it was nothing a margarita wouldn t fix . Stacey was so attentive our entire time, even though she was busy running pretty much the entire dining room, our drinks stayed full, she would stop and have a brief conversation, she was amazing! Everyone needs to go sit in her section, because it was hands down the best service I think I have ever had! Great job Stacey!

Had early dinner here on Friday. Not at all busy. We ordered the shrimp salad and Lorado. Lorado came out but they made a chicken salad so had to wait for shrimp Salad to be made. Noticed that there was a big cobweb in the corner of our window. We pointed it out to waiter and he said they were going to treat it for bugs soon. Be careful when paying with credit card cause they charge extra for using them. 3.9%

Great atmosphere and food! Loved their chips and the hot sauce is amazing! Had the spinach enchiladas and they were very good. Hubby and I split the Mexican apple pie with cinnamon ice cream and hot brandy butter. It was one of the best desserts Ive ever had. The prices are a little high in comparison to the amount of food you get but overall, worth every penny.
