Harrison s office will not do anything they say they will do. They are there to collect your money only. Don t waste your time , money or effort..

I have no idea where this reviewer who criticized Brett Harrison is coming from because he is flat wrong. I am a criminal defense lawyer who has tried cases against Brett when he was an assistant DA and with him as co-counsel in a capital murder case. Without reservation Brett Harrison is an outstanding lawyer, cares for his clients, provides awesome representation. He will out work anyone and his mind is incisive, quick, and informed. If I ever get in trouble in Smith County Brett Harrison will be on my very short list of criminal defense lawyers to call. Bobby Mims

Buck Files was THE man. Brett Harrison was/is simply riding his coat tails. Buck has retired and is no longer supervising Mr. Harrison. Do not trust this guy with your legal problems. In my opinion he is a lazy lawyer who does the bare minimum required, and he doesnt really care about his clients or what happens to them. Buck Files was the best lawyer in town, not this clown. There are literally court-appointed lawyers who will bring more to the table than this guy. Seriously, dont trust this guy. Without Buck Files guiding him, he is a terrible lawyer. The effort isnt there, and the skills arent there. Save your money and call someone cheaper who actually cares about what happens to you. This guy right here will take your money, smile, and let the courts send you straight to jail without even lifting a finger to fight for you. Mr. Harrison is nothing short of a conman with a law degree. Guys like him give lawyers a bad name.

If you want a sell out lawyer that does not have his clients best interest at heart, then this is your guy. I was directly lied to about a plea bargain when I asked three times if it would be an admission of guilt. He said no. I found out later that in Texas a plea bargain is always an admission of guilt. I know that I did not do the things that I was accused of and that I was brutalized by the Tyler Police to the point that I had to have two complete hip replacements along with scrapes and bruising. If you want to find out just how dirty and political the Smith County Courts are, J. Brett Harrison and his colleagues are in the thick of it!

I call him The Miracle worker!! Sadly, I ve had many years of experience with the legal system here in Tyler, Texas. It is because of these experiences that I ve had the privilege of meeting & retaining some really great attorneys. Not withstanding the fact that some have went on to become Judges. Mr. Harrison, & his associates are amongst the best, if not the best I have had the privilege to encounter. This office staff is truly warm, & welcoming. Mr. Harrison, & Mr. Matt, has went out of their way to make us feel as if our case is indeed their #1 priority. They are Very knowledgeable, thorough, & very efficient. They have every question answered before it can be asked. Our case is not completed as of yet, but as of today, I am Very confident that we will get the results that we expect. 5 stars for The Miracle Worker & his associates!!!
