No A/C. The circus was great but couldn t enjoy due to the heat. Supposedly someone turned on the fans and the owners quickly padlocked them. Also heard someone collapsed. If this is true I would never host an event in this facility. At least without good liability insurance!

Went for the Shrine Circus. This is in no way a review of the circus. This is strictly for the Oil Palace. $10 cash only for parking. Not advertised on any website that the parking is cash only. They conveniently have ATM machines that charge $8 fee. The venue is not air conditioned, or at least it was not on for this event. Come on Manziels, do better.

Very old and dilapidated. Bleachers have no handrails and are precarious. NO AIR CONDITIONING!! Last time I was there before today 20 years ago they had no AC. Smoke filled venue from food being cooked. Will never return. I dont see how they convince any entertainers to come here without AC.

The oil palace is owned and operated by the Manziel Family in Tyler Texas and is one of the main venues for a live concert and big crowd Its a nice place to see a live show or concert . Parking is 10.00 but it has plenty of room to park and handicapped parking as well . I have been attending shows there for years and always had a great time and was treated well . Its an old business thats had a lot of famous people inside of it. I have met a few and continue to go when Im able. All in all The OIL Palace is a great place.

Quite a huge hall with ~5k+ seating capacity. Perfect for fun and skates events for big cross. They do need minor repairs randomly but overall worth the price if services utilized.

Attended the ccc sale at the oil palace. It was large, lots of parking spots. However it could use some TLC. Restrooms were clean, and had plenty of stalls as well. Over all, the oil palace was a good place to have the sale at.

This place was a complete rip off for the Dinasour adventure. The advertisement made it sound amazing but it was not. There is only things to do for little kids at $35 a piece for 2 bounce houses they could ride in a toy jeep and on a toy dinosaur, walk around and look at dinosaur statues. Other things there you have to buy tickets which are $5 a piece and it takes 4 at the least to do anything, thats another $20 for each thing, There are things you can buy that are super cheap made but cost a small fortune. Nothing for my 13 yr old grandson to do but had to pay $35 for him to just stand around in there and then me my son and his wife just stood around for $25 each. Basically adults have to pay someone so we can stand there and watch our own kids. Completely a total rip off and nothing like the advertisement. Dont go here

Dinosaur Adventure is the biggest waste of money I think I have ever seen. Exhibits look like they were thrown in the back of the moving truck and dragged in and out. There is VERY LITTLE information about the dinosaurs. Only 20% were actually named. Supposed to have included activities. Height limit or weight limit on most. Then other activities are way over priced. Small face painting is $15. That is the cheapest. Gift shop items are junk and WAY over priced. Drive over and hour for a huge disappointment.

Went for the circus. Sweet and kid friendly 100 percent. Ringleader has an awesome personality and is In the act with his little girl. So pretty and glittery. All girls are sweet and amazing face paintings. I highly recommend it ....and all the sparkles they have. Yesssss

Ive been to the Oil Palace on occasions like concerts and the circus, and its been a positive experience every time. Its large, so wear comfortable walking shoes. Depending on the occasion, it may take a lot of walking to get to the restrooms or concessions. The staff have always been friendly there.

Concert event: Its ok for a small town. We had great seats, but its all on floor level except for the back section. Floor level seating were folding chairs, but comfortable Back section were bleachers, about 30-40 ft deep. I dont think Id come back to see a concert here, maybe a circus or other type event. Ushers, security, and other staff were very respectful, and helpful.

If all the events at this venue are handled like that one my family and I attended in May, I would not recommend this place. Parking was atrocious, they they had no system and it looked like they sold more tickets than they had parking spaces. Horrible maintenance, restrooms were filthy and water from the toilets started overflowing causing a disgusting puddle. Womens line was so long and never ending, some females ended up going to the mens restroom. VIP was not worth it. We were not allowed in at first and it took them about 30 mins to let us upstairs. All the way in the back of the venue, hot the whole night. We were told that we would have our own restroom, a lie. The private bar? Ridiculously expensive. Extremely dissatisfied.
