I visited this place, as briefly as I could, multiple times in the same day. Three times, to be exact. Theres usually no line, and it moves pretty fast (like, as-fast-as-you-can-run fast). I did have to wait nearly 10 hours to enter (detour via the Hardy Toll Road), but I got there as quick as I could. The music and atmosphere was incredible. There were several hippies. Lots of tie-dye. I fully recommend buying tickets beforehand, as it tends to sell out.

My only complaint was that it could have used more butt smacking. Otherwise, 10/10. Will be back and hopefully bringing friends.

World s best Ironman Texas athlete encouragement fan zone! Hippie Hollow brings so much energy to the Ironman run, that you almost forget how much effort it took to get there (well, maybe not quite). There can be no Ironman Texas without Hippie Hollow

I once got lost in The Woodlands for about 16 hours. Well, to be fair, a chunk of that time was riding in 20-mile circles on the Hardy Toll Road, but that s a story for another day. Whilst lost, I ran (a term used very loosely) through this magical land called Hippie Hollow. A man with a garbage can chased me, a woman gave me a glowing necklace, the place was so sparkly and loud. I kept wandering around in a giant loop and found it again two more times! The closer to midnight it got, the more fantastical Hippie Hollow became. Packed with people partying their butts off. All I wanted to do was stay with these lovely people, but I had to find my way to the red carpet to get off this crazy loop I found myself stuck on. I went back the next morning and it was gone. Did I dream this magical land? Was I hallucinating? Definitely the latter, maybe the former. Either way, I ll be back again in 2024 to look for it. Peace and love and

As a nerd, running is the last thing I ll do before seeing Jesus. But I d run here no. No, I won t. But to see the joy and excitement on the faces of all the people who DO run here is a little slice of Hippie Heaven.

Literally one of the best experiences in all of the Woodlands. Staring out over the water, the Hippies of the Hollow serenade you with blasting music and drums and joyous yelling, urging you to always run thru the Hollow, because walking isn t allowed. 3 times I went thru the Hollow, and 3 times I was pushed to do my best when all was lost. Every year, on a single Saturday in April, the Hippies congregate to spread joy and encouragement in a celebration of achievement unlike any other. Highly recommend visiting Hippie Hollow after swimming in Lake Woodlands and riding the party on the Hardy.

Apparently this isn t the same Hippie Hollow that is clothing optional with full nudity allowed like the one in Austin?! They forced me into a Lycra triathlon suit, pinned a bib number on me and expected me to run. I was going to ask to speak to a manager but I got so caught up in the festivities and ended up crossing some Ironman finish line a few hours later where they fed me pizza and gave me a cheap finisher cap so I decided to call it good. 5 stars. Definitely recommend.
