Plastic was in my lasagna, and the guy named Josh was very rude and made me feel uncomfortable. He would come to my table and grab plates aggressively, give dirty looks. Left me at a table with no menu, and I felt racially discriminated. Will never come here again. They never informed me about self serving drinks. They left me there with no information. They served on all the white old people. Take your money somewhere else. I m working on getting this place shut down. Health hazard. Flies everywhere, and unclean dishes.

I liked the restaurant overall! You have to order your food at the counter before you actually go to sit down to eat it. Its more of a self service kinda place. You get your own soda and napkins and Togo boxes. Which is great I liked it! The pizza was good and they brought the pizza to your table. But they close kinda early.

I came in after a long day of doing uber and I was starving. I ordered a medium pizza with a salad and drink. My salad came really fast and it was do delicious and creamy. Then my pizza came out hot and delicious. The atmosphere was nice. It wasnt too loud and it was very clean. A waiter came by every few minutes to see if I needed anything. I hardly ever give a 10/10 rating, but this place was very deserving of it!!!

Usually, order pizza for pickup. We decided to dine in and try out some pasta, It was delicious! I ordered the seafood pasta with clams. We also ordered the chicken with pasta. The fried breading was a little much..grilled would have been a better option. (and the red wine went well with the patsa) Overall...awesome

SUBPAR, NO RECOMMENDATION! First, if you care about: personable experiences, friendly service, great pastas, communication on orders, and importantly, dietary restrictions, NONE of which applied here. With that said, feel free to read my family s experience: Considering this as a simple request, a substitution on a combination meal, gave the order to the incoherent cashier. This was the start of a terrible experiment. My family has come here many times, as the food is decent; simple pasta (nothing special), location convenient, independently owned, the pizza is good, and short wait time. Adding, expecting a better experience being independently-owned, and supporting that. Reasoning of one star: If you have ANY dietary restrictions- do NOT dine here, and you can emphasize this giving your order- the cashier taking your order will nod and say okay, making you believe this is understood- it is not. Seemingly English as a second language, not sure, but you would think she d ask the back of house in any confusion or accuracy. So, here comes your order, relaxing the error, the pizza comes by the same cashier WHO TOOK the order (and if to-go, open a surprise). Letting her know this error kindly, in which she responds in a defensive, unprofessional, and attitudal manner, and blames customer. States she will get the owner and storms off without any politeness. This inconvenience and interruption already ruining the enjoyment from this dining experience. It seems a simple solution, and again, you would think. No, the owner comes, seemingly frustrated, gives blame as well to the custome, again states the customer ordered incorrectly, argues his iron-clad policy on no substitution, and spends a bit of time ranting, ended in him giving a partial refund and a very forced apology. The pizza is pretty good, though. I would suggest a chain restaurant such as Bucca Di Peppo or Olive Garden instead for pastas. The taste is better (Bucca), and far better service at both. I would suggest a new capable cashier that can take orders precisely. Dietary restrictions: They will absolutely NOT substitute and will argue this with you in a very unprofessional manner. Hence my review.

My feud with Joes on Galloway goes back to this photo I took in 2022. 4 bucks for this salad. Well, I normally have a strict 3 screw up and done policy. I decided to give ol Joes one more try. No DoorDash. Actual pick-up. I made the call the store. I even told the person that answered the phone that I had issues in the past and to please check my two entre order. Two. One Stromboli, One Lasagne. Well guess what? They screwed it up. Only the lasagne made it into the bag. IF you go there I suggest you hold up the whole dang line and check each and every single item in that bag. They are absolute trash and should shutter their doors. P.S. They did not believe us and the person that packed the order insisted that it was in the bag so they are watching the tape. So when you read this, Joes guy. I told you so. Now go get your shine box! They did issue a full refund by the way but we will never return. Ever. Never ever. Never in the history of ever.

Let me start off by saying how lucky I was to find this place. I am visiting from out of town and Joes has good reviews so figured would check it out for lunch. We ordered the stuffed pizza slices, which also came with salad and some garlic rolls. The salad and rolls were brought out quickly. The salad was fresh and the rolls were quite nice. They had a slight garlic flavor which woke up my taste buds. Now, on to the stuffed pizza. The slices were HUGE and packed with Pepperoni, sausage, ham, and lots of cheese. The outside layer of the pizza was crispy and flavorful. The little marinara on the side tasted good but wasnt really needed as the pizza brought the A game. Service was also spot on...friendly and fast. Next time I am in Mesquite, Ill stop by again.

I ordered from here for myself, my husband and my daughter as I m 35 weeks pregnant and was craving a few items. I had never ordered from here before, usually I order from Vamos pizza. I ordered an XL pizza, an order of calamari, an order of fried mozzarella and their fettuccine Alfredo. The food was tasteless, no seasoning at all - especially the Alfredo. The fried mozzarella was definitely store bought and my 3 year old didn t even bother to eat it. The calamari was over-cooked and doused in pepper. Needless to say I will not be ordering from here again. We ended up getting food elsewhere as this food was not good. Spent just about $50 and I wish I hadn t.

I recently checked out Joes Pizza & Pasta and was pretty impressed with what I found. Right off the bat, the service was spot on. The girl at the counter was super friendly and had no problem answering my questions, making me feel right at home. For my meal, I went with the spaghetti works and wasnt disappointed. It looked a bit small at first glance, but there was more than enough to fill me up by the end. The dinner rolls were fresh out of the oven, and the house salad with blue cheese dressing hit the spot with its crispness. I also tried a slice of their supreme pizza and a slice of stuffed meat pizza. Both were solid choices. The supreme was loaded with toppings on a great crust, and the stuffed meat was packed with flavor, definitely satisfying the meat lover in me. Initially, I was a bit skeptical about the portion sizes, but I was totally wrong. Ended up being the perfect amount of food. Joes nailed it with quality and quantity.All in all, Joes Pizza & Pasta is a solid spot. Great service, good food, and a comfortable vibe. Its definitely on my list for a return visit.

We have had their stuffed pizza before, and it was good. That was probably a year ago. Since we enjoyed it before, we never thought to look into recent reviews but I wish we had. I had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, and my mom had the chicken Marsala; we also had the focaccia which is always good. Around 11pm is when we started feeling the effects of food poisoning! It was the worst! We threw out all the leftovers because we suspect the chicken since we had never had it but don t want to chance it with anything else. Please don t eat here!

We ve been coming here for years, and I finally remembered to write a review! We re closer to their Tripp Rd location, but the interiors at this restaurant are charming, grey tones paired well with the colorful booths and central seating. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. The food is always great, this time we ordered an eggplant parm that had the crunch as well as the perfect ratio of sauce and cheese! It came with a side salad and rolls. There was also Calamari, a supreme pizza, plus we orders a side of meatballs and sausage. For two people, it was a whole lotta food, but the beauty of it is bringing the rest to-go! Sooo good!

This place has gone down hill tremendously. This place use to be phenomenal. After many tires the food has either made me throw up or it looks like it hasn t been properly cooked . Got a salad and the lettuce looks like it s been sitting out and old . The lettuce wasn t even editable. The croutons were soggy. It smelled so bad . The service is awful . Got takeout from Joe s for the first time on Friday night. Rating 5 stars because the food was hot, fresh, ready on time, and good value for the price. Below are my opinions on everything ordered First, the lasagna pizza: the star of the show!!! It was truly the best pizza I ve had in a while. My only complaint is that the meat/ricotta mixture could be a little more evenly spread, as you got closer to the crust there really wasn t any.. it was just dough and the mozzarella topping. Meat lovers pizza: loaded with pepperoni, sausage, hamburger, and Canadian bacon. It was good, but I like a saucier pizza so might ask for extra sauce if I order this one again Manicotti: this was just okay, I felt like something was missing but couldn t put my finger on what it was. It came with two rolls, which were delicious, and a small side salad (got the Caesar dressing for that and it was really good). Overall I really enjoyed my experience at Joe s and am looking forward to trying out different items next time!

I did not have a good experience today like I thought I was. The Cashier was really nice at first but I noticed when I was filling up my drink there was an older lady that was sitting down with dark hair purple shirt and a black skirt. She kept starting at me. She made me feel very uncomfortable idk if she was a relative or not but me being a paying customer should not feel that way in an establishment. The lady also went over there to tell the cashier lady sometime who was friendly at first and then she started staring my way and her whole attitude changed. Felt like I was racially stereotyped. Probably will not be eating back there again.

Cheap decor and inexpensive utensils. But the top quality food more than makes up for it. The food is hot, fresh, delicious. The drinks are free refills on soda fountain. Beer prices are reasonable.

We took a co-worker there for her first time. She loved it! She had lasagna and said you are so much better than that other place !! I love the Chicken Caesar salad. I really think I could eat that everyday. Mesquite ISD transportation loves Joes Pizza!

Wherever I live always got to find a local pizza joint privately owned to help support. Joes has 2 locations but I always go to galaway location. Order pizza ready in 15 drive thru and home. Makes dinner easy for family when feeling lazy or worn out from the day

I love the rolls.the pizza well it was lit on the sauce and cheese and the pizza dough was a little too un cooked for me, I love cracker pizza crust, but the crust was thine like I love! just saying u cant please everyone all the time, but u can some of the people some of the time. I ordered the no seasoned calamari and bland shrimp Alfredo. Daughter got spinach tortellini, it was a NO for her. Garlic rolls were ok but a little bit too burnt at the bottom. Would I go again? NOPE!

I use to live on Mesquite and I now live 30 minutes away and I will/have gladly take the 30 minute drive any time any day Joes is known for their good food great customer service and their wonderful atmosphere the place here are super nice and sweet. Give this place a visit they won t disappoint and their food is bussin. :)
