What an awful experience. The food was very good but rarely has such terrible service led to me not wanting to return to a restaurant. Lunch took over 1.5 hours which is not acceptable. My iced tea (regular unsweetened) was never refilled and sat empty the last hour. I could not believe the charges for extra lime and ground peanuts ($1 each!) I really enjoyed the food but what a shame because I never want to go back!

Found this place while I was in the area housesitting for my brother, and I have to say this is the best Thai food Ive had. Im based in Katy, and I will most definitely find myself taking the ride up to the Woodlands again because of how satisfying the overall experience was. I went on two separate occasions, and every time the service was amazing. Caleb was our most recent waiter, and he made excellent recommendations and was very attentive to our needs. We had a multitude of meals since we were a party of three, but my personal favorite was the Pad Khe Mao and the dumplings. My dad really enjoyed the curries, and my mom loved the Larb. I had my eye on their beautiful purple flower dumplings, but they only serve them on the weekends. Highly recommend!

This used to be my favorite Thai restaurant but lately when we had ordered delivery, the spice level has been over spicy when we just ordered a level 2 and when I select items to be removed, they still had it on the order. We will not be ordering from here again.

Beautifully decorated restaurant. Detailed menu and lots of choices. Tom kha soup tasted very good but was super runny texture. Tom yum fried rice was good but we ordered level 4 so was super super spicy. We are used to eating very spicy but this level 4 was way high so beware. Welp... Not traditional. Flavors were fine. Food was fresh. Its based on Thai food, but its more of a Thai/USA fusion. As an example, there were American mushrooms, bell peppers and large quartered tomatoes in the pad kee mow (drunken noodles). The Thai basil, a very traditional dish was predominantly green beans with more bell peppers. The flavors of the various proteins were all fine. But in the 5 very different dishes sampled for dinner, ALL of them had the bell peppers and green beans, tomatoes, etc. So the flavor profile of the entire table wound up being almost the same. And the garlic used in the Thai basil was the minced garlic mix available from any grocery store. This has a tendency to be overly garlicky and has a much different flavor than fresh garlic. Ill go again to see if it improves, but I wasnt a fan. Next time Ill see how they do with a customized drunken noodles if they can get it close. Their Thai tea tasted fine, the jasmine rice was fine, the service was quick. The food comes very quickly (perhaps part of the problem? Using ready made filler or similar ingredients?). Everything was clean. Bathrooms were spotless, staff was friendly. Overall, if you dont care about authenticity and want to drink, they have a full bar with some fusiony thai themed drinks, go, youll probably enjoy it. If you are looking for a taste of home or love authentic traditional Thai ingredients, then keep looking. Vegetarian options: Anything can be made vegetarian here. Just sub tofu for the other proteins.

Came in about 30 minutes before they closed and they greeted us warmly and took our orders. My fiancée and I were mindful of how late we came and finished our food in a timely manner so we could leave before they closed, but they never made us feel rushed at all. Travis was an excellent server, checked in on us, and was attentive and very kind. The food was incredible. My fiancée and I have a high standard for Thai food and I personally have had Thai food all over the US. Never seen a Thai place that offered tom yum fried rice, and it was truly amazing. Probably the best fried rice I ve ever had! The pad Thai was delicious and one of the best ones I have found in Texas. To top it all off, the Thai tea crème brûlée was unique and tasted out of this world. Truly an amazing restaurant and great experience. I will definitely be back!

We came here for a date night and everything was super delicious and came out quickly. To start, we ordered the Thai Style fried chicken wings which were the perfect combination of crispy & juicy as well as the Tom Kha soup. The best Tom Kha soup I have had anywhere so far! I recommend the Thai Iced Tea as well. For our entrees, we ordered pineapple fried rice and the chicken pad see eew. To finish it off, we had to try their mango sticky rice. Overall we had a great experience. The restaurant and the dishes were aesthetically pleasing.

I ordered off of Uber Eats. Since moving, Ive been on search of a delicious Thai restaurant. Lets just say that the search goes on. If youre given the option of no spice, because hot spice gives some people hives, well this restaurant clearly ignored that selection and made it very spicy, even including the hot pepper. And for four dumplings that cost $9.99, presentation should be provided, yet it looked like they were tossed into the container with no other care even though the description says additional toppings. I wont order from them again.

My daughter brought me in for my birthday and it was the best birthday lunch EVER! The depth of flavor and spice were spot on. I have celiac and we ate Chicken Pad Thai, Tom Kha with Shrimp, and Tiger Cried Steak. They were Gluten Free (celiac safe), Dairy Free, and DELICIOUS! The Mango Sticky rice is rich, tangy, and the perfect dessert bite. The plating is beautiful while also providing an elevated family style experience The Lying Buddha cocktail went perfectly with the Pad Thai. I will be back so soon! We stumbled across this place after dining next store. Came back hoping for decent thai and were pleasantly surprised to find great thai food in the heart of the woodlands. Went withe the staples phad thai and phad sew along sith Tom Kha. This was the best Tom Kha we have had in Texas with consistency and flavors. Travis our server kept our drinks topped off snd provided recommendations. Great place for lunch as well. They had us fed and on our way in 30 minutes. Looking forward to returning to try the curry and some of their cocktails.

Okay - I want to start off by saying that word-of-mouth had us expecting service to be a bit slow. I dont think its the waitstaffs fault, but maybe they need a bigger place & more of them. This place was packed & we were informed that with a party of 4, we were 4th on the list & to expect an hour & a half wait. It was just less than an hour, so still good, though Im betting those who made reservations were getting seated quicker than those of us who couldnt get a call in. Anyway, the place is beautiful inside, welcoming & clean. I was intrigued. The drinks were a bit slow coming out, but were good, too. The food was excellent, though. Definitely one of the best Thai places Ive patronized!

I visited for lunch earlier this week, and my first impression was positive. The restaurant has a pleasant ambiance, and the menu offers a good variety of classic Thai dishes. The food took a little while to arrive, but it was fresh and generally tasty. However, I had asked for my meal to be extra spicy, and it ended up being quite mild my only real disappointment. Despite that, I think this place is worth checking out, especially if youre looking for a comfortable setting and a solid range of Thai cuisine.

Im a huge fan of Thai food stemming from my childhood outing with my family and when I tell you this place did not miss a beat it was AMAZING! Have ever loved a dish at a restaurant and get it to go only to open up the container and it is a smaller portion or for another reason, just not as good as it is in the restaurant? Charm is not that place! I went the first week they opened and was put off by the food itself because it just wasnt that great plus they were still setting up the restaurant. After a couple of weeks I gave it another try. I am so glad I went back, the food was so much better and everything was working more smoothly. It has become a weekly visit for me. Now on to their to go. I love the way they package the meal. AND the amount of food you get is just as much as sitting at one of their tables. You should go and give it a try.

My family and I went there for Fathers Day. It is the most elegant Thai restaurant I have ever been to. They had a special Fathers Day Menu which we sampled. Everything we chose was good to excellent so we will definitely be going back. We asked for spicy but beware, a little too spicy at times.

If I could give my experience more than 5 stars I would. First of all, the service was exceptional! We were helped by Bailey and he was an absolute joy! It was our first time going there and he definitely made our time there pleasant and fun. He was attentive, polite and his customer service was excellent. Not just that, but the food was delicious! It was lunch hours so I was able to get the lunch special. I ordered pad see ew and it came with a soft drink, veggie soup, crispy roll and crispy wonton. For dessert I got fried banana with coconut ice cream and it did not disappoint! The coconut ice cream is a MUST TRY! I really recommend this place. We will definitely be back!

Great spot, but the original is still my favorite. This new Woodlands location has all the same classic options as the Spring spot, but the presentation and portions are different. The interior is beautiful, making a nice place for going out or having a special occasion, and they have lots of outdoor seating as well. I would say this location has a nicer presentation of the food, but the portions are not as big as the old spot. The flavor is still just as good, though. Charm overall is still one of the best Thai spots in the north Houston area, and I highly recommend this location if you re in the Woodlands and don t want to make the drive down to Spring.

Unfortunately, our experience tonight was marred by poor service from start to finish. Despite the restaurant being relatively empty, we waited extensively for any acknowledgment or seating guidance upon arrival. When our server finally arrived to take our order, they struggled to locate items on their handheld device. Our dining experience further soured as the timing of our entrees was staggered, with one arriving reasonably promptly for the first person, followed by delays of over 5 minutes for the second person and more than 15 minutes for the remaining two. The food was good, but the poor, inattentive service totally overshadowed it. Unfortunately for us, the bad experience continued as we had to flag down the server to bring us the check since we got tired of waiting after 10 minutes.

Dined on a Monday night, the atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious. It wasnt busy. We ordered the shrimp cake, red curry, pad thai, Thai tea, and mango sticky rice. The portion sizes were good, and the spice level was perfect. Everything tasted fresh, except for the shrimp in the pad Thai, which could have been better. The service had room for improvement. It turned out to be our servers first day waiting tables, not just at this restaurant. While she was clearly trying her best, it felt unfair that management left her on her own without enough support or shadowing opportunities. This was especially noticeable when a couple of employees were hanging out at the bar while the three servers were swamped. We had to flag them down for attention. Unfortunately, we overheard one server complain to management about being overloaded, and the management responded a little impatiently. This was loud enough for few tables to hear, creating an awkward atmosphere. Despite the service issues, the restaurant has great potential, and wed be back for the food. Hopefully, next time, the management will be more proactive in supporting their staff.

Our next door neighbors raved about Charm and strongly recommended that we come. We took their advice and Charm lived up to the hype. This is excellent Thai cuisine and the service is top notch. Amelia was our server and she left no stone unturned in making sure our experience was the perfect Sunday dinner. I would say we did ask for mild pineapple rice and curry but the food was still a little spicy. Not sure if it was really mild. That being said it still tasted great and the portion good. What a great experience! Beautiful on the inside and the spoons are weighted which is a huge surprise. I ordered the Tom Kha, level three spicy, which was perfect.. Note that s pretty spicy. Second I ordered the dumplings. The presentations for these was perfect, taste quality was exactly what my palate needed. Last I ordered the Tiger Cry. Steak is tender and came out hot. Elegant presentation with a smell delightful and very delicious.

Portions look great online but not when you order Uber Eats. For $30 worth of food I expected way more. Will not order again. Tic Tac Thai gave me way more food, similar prices. Disappointed!!! Edit: Yes this is the correct restaurant. Charm Thai Kitchen in the Woodlands skimps on the food when you order delivery. Tic Tac Thai in Spring does not. What kind of response is this? Even more reason this review stays as it is. People don t waste your time ordering delivery from here. They take it as an opportunity to screw you over.

I was really impressed with Charm. I visited on a weekday at lunch time. I ordered chicken satay and a curry dish. Each dish had amazing flavor and the ingredients were extremely fresh tasting. And for once I found a thai restaurant that isnt afraid to actually make something spicy. Service was great. My only dislike was some of the seating arrangements with the tables being so close you feel you are on top of your neighboring table. Thats just my personal preference - I could see how it might be a little more challenging to have a conversation once the restaurant gets really busy. This wouldnt dissuade me from visiting again though. I will certainly return.

Absolutely fabulous dinner. Everything we had was so delicious. Annie, one of the owners was our server. She made us feel like we were in her home. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was amazing. The Chor muang dumplings were so beautiful. Handmade and delicious! Roti was fluffy, flaky and fresh.
