Alexandra was a wonderful waitress. She communicated extremely well, sold me on a very nice red wine that was sweet and earthy, and even convinced me to get a dessert (something I never do). S cond time visiting and second time with Alexandra as well. Food was cooked amazing, and atmosphere was very chill and relaxing.

Was at lunch today but totally disappointed by the abysmally, rude service, hopefully not typical of Landry s. Coffee was served without any way of stirring, drink straws had to be requested a few times, server showed irritation at small requests. Totally unexpected for a Landry s establishment. I will never eat at this place again, total let down. Had to ask for a drink menu and then was rushed to order. The appetizers came out fine but the main course was horrible. I ordered steak for myself and my wife. My order came with 2 sides, mash potatoes which I told them I didn t want. And a side of asparagus. When my plate was brought to me I was shocked. I had only 2 sticks of asparagus ( wow so generous) and the butter on my steak wasn t even melted ( can t even give me room temperature). And my wife s plate was sizzling hot with a nice portion of asparagus. The waitress didn t even notice all this and no I didnt send it back didn t want something to happen to my food. Never was asked for a refill on either of our drinks, was never brought a to go bag as requested. And on top of that I left a tip.Here are pictures for all the people that will say it wasn t that way.Expected a lot more from this place especially from the woodlands. Well thank you Landry s for making my wife s Birthday dinner a memorable one. You served me the driest medium rare steak I have ever ate.

We had an excellent experience! Bianca served us and was delightful and very helpful with navigating the menu. I am celiac so I rarely eat out but both Bianca and management took the time to make sure my allergy was catered to. I highly recommend this place to both regular patrons and those with allergies. You will be well taken care of!

We came here for a nice dinner for my wife s birthday. Our waiter took 20 minutes to even come get our drink order. Then we put in our food order after being there for about 25 minutes. It took an hour and 15 minutes for our food to even come out. Our 7 month old baby was getting fussy at this point so we had to tell the food runner to just box up the food and ask him to find our waiter for the check because we very rarely saw him. In the hour+ we were there he came to our table maybe 3 times. We really wanted to order dessert for my wife s birthday but couldn t because how long everything took. We watched other people who got there significantly after us get their food significantly before us. Disappointed in the evening.

Went to this location, and honestly, it was not great. I had the Mahi-mahi, and it was a tiny portion with lots of white rice & spinach. Its totally not worth the price! I ordered a side of mash potatoes, and they were okay but not great. The food tasted like it was microwaved and not fresh. The waiter was friendly and attentive for the most part. I will definitely not be returning. Save your money and keep going down the freeway to Pappadeauxs instead! Parking: Parking is on the side of the restaurant location.

Well I m in Houston for for business and I and some coworkers decided to go here for dinner, we were seated promptly. I ordered a Pinot Grigio and water and we ordered a stuffed shrimp appetizer wrapped in bacon, our server also brought us some garlic bread. The appetizer was delicious and served with crispy string onions, I ordered the Seared Rock Fish with seasonal vegetables and a delicious rice, both my coworkers ordered the stuffed red snapper with asparagus. The food and service was good overall and the place was busy but with great atmosphere, the only thing I don t like Is that they charge $4.99 for a house salad instead of it coming with the entree. Over great meal and would definitely recommend it if you want some seafood.

Our bartender Kurt provided outstanding service. He was attentive throughout our visit, demonstrating a deep understanding of customer care. While others were idle and chatting, Kurt diligently attended to all his tables. As a former bartender myself, teamwork is crucial, but I observed Kurt managing alone without assistance. Landrys is fortunate to have him; he is a valuable asset. Please ensure he is appreciated. We will certainly return to experience his excellent service again.

I had a gift card so decided to try it. Beware of the up sale practice here. The waiter I believe must have been new. They will ask if you want things without letting you know they are all extra. They never brought bread. I was unsure if the bread was included since this was my first time to eat here. (usually go to Pappas) You have to ask for the bread but honestly was worried if they would charge for that too. I asked if they had flavored tea and they said yes but turns out they kept bringing a mocktail that resembled flavored tea so they could charge for each one from the bar. The food did not have much flavor and very underwhelming. I wont be back. The best part is the atmosphere and water view.

Upon waking in w a reservation, we were told that they re cleaning tables so we went to bar to wait and get a drink. Not a single employee acknowledged us even as we are sitting at the bar. Not a greeting. Not a water. Nothing. Hostess called us about 10 minutes later so we went to our table. Still nothing from bar staff and there were 3 of them back there. Missed opportunity for them and not a good start. We were sat and our server was very nice and friendly and gave us all the specials and asked for a drink order. Woof. Their Bev program needs some serious work and attention. Not sure what the old fashion was/is but it was so bad my husband didn t even want another drink. It had this odd taste like it came from a can or something. Was so sweet and odd. Cloudy. Just strange. The summer sangria, not sangria at all, was just basic. Very basic. Not sure if it s batched but it wasn t mixed well. Bottom had a pile of syrup while to top was bland and tasteless. Scoops of fruit. The baked oysters were absolutely delicious!! 10! Sauce. Bread. Flavor. Presentation. All of it. We got the mix grill and a house salad. House salad dressing was great and salad was a nice size for the added $4.99. Very fresh. Steak was cooked absolutely to perfection! Seared very nicely but lacked seasoning as did the lobster tail and asparagus. Lobster was cooked well. Easy to pop out of shell. Very plain and basic butter. Smallest lemon wheel for the butter/tail. Maybe two half wheels would ve been better or at least a wedge. About 5-6 asparagus which again lacked seasoning. But cooked great. Still crunch while soft at top. We aren t salt eaters but we had to salt everything! Manager walked around and was greeting tables. Our server was very present and attentive. Unfortunately she probably had to tip out the bar staff for lacking at their job. Would I go back, possibly. Probably not soon. Definitely not to the bar. Rubbed me wrong. Greet customers. Place water in front of them if that s all you can do. Give a nod and a I ll be right with you goes a long way. No excuse to let a customer feel invisible or money to walk away. Do better on your drinks! Not sure if they batch them or don t know how to make an old fashion but learn if your job is behind the bar. Bev program needs some attention. We are not a send back type of people. $24 for two drinks that could be $48+ w multiple drink orders had they been good, was a huge slip and fail.

I went to landry s on a whim as I had a concert at woodlands pavilion next door. We ordered the stuffed jalapeños for starters they were very good! THE GUMBO however was not good at all the roux tasted burnt too dark and at first bite full of SALT it tasted like the ocean. The other plate ordered was the fried seafood platter the fish was mediocrity on a plate. The popcorn shrimp was the best thing on the plate. Overall experience was 3/5 I went in hungry and left not as hungry so it was fine I guess but also wanted to make this review so yeah .

The carpet was old, the furnishings old and drab and overall sad. Clearly no money has been invested here for years. The food was mediocre. I had the fish and chips and was super excited as I figured an upscale or at least middle rung place would have great fish and chips! Nope. Just did not taste right. I took what I did not eat-very litter, at the restaurant home. I took a look at it the next day and just threw it away. I also had the crawfish bread which was half decent but really light on the cheese. The waitress was great although she did tell me they had great fish and chips! Overall disappointed and will not go back! A shame as they have great people working there. If Landrys was smart they would invest in the place before they lose the only thing going for them their people! Parking: Huge parking lot. Lots of disabled accessible parking spots. Wheelchair accessibility: No issues as easily accessible though does have carpet making it a bit difficult to get around.

My wife and I are regular customer. We have had a Landry s Select Club card for Decades. If you don t have one you should. We at an 11:30 Reservation made on Open Table. When we arrived, the Hostess was busy with another Customer, and politely told us it would be a minute. Ryan R. noticed us waiting, and greeted us. He asked if we had a table preference, which we indicated on Open Table. He seated us as requested, and became our Server. Ryan is an extremely personable and professional Server. We warmed up to him immediately. We enjoyed the Lunch Box Special: Gumbo, Salad, Crawfish Etouffee and Mahi Sandwich. All were outstanding. Our beverages were Water, with Lemon wedges. My Fathers order was wrong, from his cup of coffee (with only an eye dropper of milk instead of a couple of ounces of cream) to salad with dressing on the side....only, the dressing was tossed in the salad and drenched as if its a portable swamp.....to bringing his pasta very dry. Called to set up a birthday party. This is not just another party this is my mother in laws 100th birthday party. We planned on 30 to 35 people at 2:00 on a Saturday afternoon. I was told we had to order off of a menu that Landrys thinks we should eat. All the person could say was there is nothing they can do. Well I will take my party and money some where else that wants my business. I will make sure I never return to an Landrys. I gave the food 2 stars because of the price, paying $70 person I would expect a great tasty food from the 1st. Bite, but it was just below average taste, the food lacks the flavor! The service was good, as a first timer I would appreciate if the waitress could have more information about the dishes, and be more helpful to suggest something. Atmosphere wise is not for a special occasion, nor a romantic. It s just an ok restaurant to go have your meal in a little higher scale. Will I go back, NO. This is a one time try restaurant. Parking: The are over 100 parking spots, but they are all away from the entrance, so expect to walk between 30-100 yards. Wheelchair accessibility: The handicap parking and the wheelchair ramp is about 30 yards away from the entrance.

My 21st birthday dinner at Landrys was marvelous! The waterfront location and ambiance were stunning. Our waiter, Tril, went above and beyond, being extremely kind and friendly throughout the evening. He even took the time to snap some photos for us outside! A highlight of the night was Chef Marios exceptional talent and warmth. He not only prepared delicious dishes but also took the time to stop by our table, discussing and walking us through our special entrees. Speaking of which, the restaurants management is commendable, particularly the manager, Deleene, (apologies if misspelled), who my dad spoke with beforehand to arrange unique dishes not on the menu. Deleenes accommodation and kindness truly made our evening special. Now, lets talk about the food it was outstanding! From the fresh oysters to the delectable lobster! Overall, my heartfelt thanks to Deleene, Chef Mario, Tril, and Landrys for a memorable dining experience. Visited with an out of town guest on 3/31/2024. Ordered two Easter specials. The steak was bland and tough. The scampi topping on the steak consisted of 2 small pieces of shrimp. My guest ate some of her tasteless meal reluctantly, and took the rest home; only to be thrown away. Thus, the one star rating for food. I provided feedback on Landrys review site (on April 1, 2024 and April 4, 2024), requesting that a member of management call. I have yet to receive a response as of today. If a 0 star was a possibility, I wouldve given that for (customer) service.

Beautiful atmosphere on the Woodlands Waterway. It is a fine casual dining experience. The service was great, and the food was wonderful. Well-seasoned, great temperature. We left stuffed. The seared scallops were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Kid-friendliness: They have a good kids menu with lots of options. Saw plenty of kids in the restaurant.

It took us 30 minutes to get one of the 5 bartenders attention which is absurd. We then got a booth in the bar area to eat. The server came over with happy hour menu in hand and advised us HH ends in 5 minutes, but if we wanted to order quick he could get it in which we did within 15 seconds. When the bill came the drinks were full price, so I alerted him to the error and he shrugged his shoulders saying the computer controls the price not him and walked away. I responded to a survey I was emailed about my experience and mentioned this. I got a call back from the manager 2 days later who asked to me re-explain it all and he agreed we should have been charged the HH price not full. I said its not a big deal over $24, but strange this wasnt corrected when I was on site and raised the issue...he then stopped and said he cant correct it but wanted to know the servers name so he can train him properly. So I was like you called me and wasted 5 minutes of my valuable time only to tell me you arent empowered to fix it as the manager? Very strange customer service or lack thereof. Plenty of better options in the area for Seafood and def better options if youre going to a LSC venue

We have been coming here for a long time, but recently things have changed....for THE GOOD! There has been a changing of the guard and its paid dividends in that the food is fresher, hotter, cooked better and delivered to the table by a wonderful staff. If you havent been here in a while because of a previous experience, please give it another try. I assure you it will lead to your return again and again. SPRING 2024 UPDATE!!!! I dont like seafood. But they have a great menu for those who dont eat fish food. We are from out of town and my group wanted fish. The staff was friendly and our waiter was very friendly and nice. He was very knowledgeable of all the food. I got the stake and potatoes. Very good! Thank you for making our visit great.

Made reservations for 8, right from Google maps. We took mom here for an 80th birthday luncheon, and we were treated like royalty. The food was amazing. Drinks were great, but the hostess(es) and waiter were phenomenal. I hope we (4 generations) can get together again here. Until then, well definately be stopping in for lunch and dinner. Thank you guys for making mom (and all of us) feel so good today.

We had a table of 6 and were placed at the front of the restaurant next to a big pole. I sat next to the pole because it was an awkward place for a chair & I fit best. The server was training another server. Our server seemed very focused, while the trainee seemed more light & friendly. They were on point with service as we did have a few, not normal requests. The food was OK. I got the flounder, that had a beautiful presentation, but the flavor was a bit bland. I wish I had gotten my first choice versus asking the waitresses opinion this time (I typically ask the waitress if I am torn between 2 dishes). My hubby was not as impressed with his meal, and my sister in law said whatever garnish they put on her dish made it taste funny. Weve eaten here before and enjoyed it, so I am thinking it was just an off night.

Setting is very nice. The service and our waiter were exceptional, offering menu suggestions when asked. Clean for the most part. Indoor seating is comfortable....patio seating available right on Riverwalk. Food was good, but I was slightly disappointed in the Mahi for a restaurant of this nature. It was a bit overcooked. Also, I did not like the gumbo at all....it was terrible. But the drinks and oysters Rockefeller were amazing.

EJ was our server, he was awesome, super helpful and professional, very friendly and attentive! Please try the almond crusted Mahi Mahi, it is fantastic, it was so good that we drove 2 hours to have it again. The wedge salad was great, crisp and flavorful. Great experience, we will be back! 10/10

Every time we dine at Landrys, we thoroughly enjoy it. The restaurant is clean, has a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff are friendly. We were waited on by JORGE today during our meal and he did a fantastic job. He was polite,professional, and attentive without hovering. Our food was excellent and we appreciate Daylene seating us at a window seat with a nice view. We will definitely be back and are sure the standards for the restaurant will remain high.

I was more than satisfied with the excellent service I received by my hostess/waitress Kirra. No waiting to be seated at the table, food was was served on time no waiting. I was Celebrating My 70th. My fiancé and I made a reservation for Valentine s Day. Two days later we re both still sick with food poisoning. The two things that we both ate were the crab cake and mixed grilled. The service was expected to be a lil slow with how many people were there. But ours was exceptionally slow. 0/10 never coming back.

This is a 4-star restaurant. Visited on February 4th around 2:30pm there were 4 adults for supper. I gave the server a 3 star because he was not as tentative as I would like to see in a 4-sta restaurant; when I asked for more lemons for our appetizer, which was the calamari, he returned with them after the food was already eaten. The soup was lobster bisque and tasty. The garlic bread was not crispy or doughy, so it passed everyone s test. The Salamon was prepared nicely as suggested medium, the vegetables were prepared just right not soft and not hard, the chili seabass( it wa a dish they shared) was also prepared tasty, and the specialty dish desse shrimp, scallops, potatoes, (a few potato pieces) mushrooms ( not many) and spinach (a small hand full) topped with chopped fresh tomato was delicious the sauce was delicious and made this dish. The dessert was shared between four of us and we choose the Crème Brulee which was very good! The prices are fairly in line with similar restaurants. I recommend this restaurant and we will be visiting in the future. Below are a few photos of our supper Kid-friendliness: pon arriving, you are welcomed by a friendly staff and seated immediately. This is my first time to this Landrys location in so many years. Got the fish and chips, and I came mixed with fries and onion rings together. I would have never thought of freeze onion rings mix combination together would taste so good, but it sure did. I got a ton of food for what I paid. Definitely worth it. So much food that I how to backup part of it to go home with me. I really liked the scenery around there too. Lake Woodlands was in perfect view from no matter where you sat. Ill be back soon, and it wont be another 20 plus years this time
