Building a venue of some sort across the way from the park area and rowing club. Pretty soon this area will not be a fishing, kayakers paradise or wild life sanctuary for sight seeing with all the buildings being built! I enjoy kayaking in this area because Im able to see the Blue Heron, Canadian Goose, Great Egret, Ibis, Peeking Goose, Pelican, Ring-billed Gull and Sandpipers who frequent the Lake shores along the way to the Dragon at South shore park.

They have a nice playground area covered with a fence for security. They have a large parking lot. I like that they have trails and sidewalk to walk around. The park is right by Lake Woodlands, so it has a great view of the lake. We went on a very hot day. It is better to go after 7 pm during the summer months when there is shade and the sun is down.

North Shore Park is a hidden gem in the Woodlands! It s an excellent place to enjoy the area without dealing with the crazy parking around the Woodlands Mall or the Waterway. Highlights: Accessibility: Easy connection to the Waterway for walking and biking. Kayaking Ramp: You can conveniently pull up your truck or SUV and put your kayak right into the water. Many people do it and love it. Play Area: Beautiful slide area for kids, plenty of open space for flying kites, playing football, or riding hoverboards. Ducks and Scenery: Feed the ducks and enjoy the beautiful family-friendly environment. Million-Dollar Homes: The park is surrounded by stunning homes, inspiring dreams of luxury living. Snow Cones: On most days, there s a snow cone stand for a nice family treat. Friendly Atmosphere: The people are very friendly, making it a welcoming place to visit. Recommendation: Park here and walk to Hughes Landing for shopping or head to the Waterway for a fantastic experience. Visit around 7 PM for a great opportunity to walk, exercise, and enjoy iconic views while getting to know your loved ones. North Shore Park is perfect for families and anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the Woodlands. *Lovely Is YOUR Story acknowledges your exceptional service. Keep inspiring us all!*

It used to be 5 stars for me. It used to be a family place. Now, it seems everyday since school let out you have teenagers and young kids jumping off the bridge without parental supervision. Not only from the edge of the road, but in the middle. They run passed traffic and jump. They scream and yell like retards. Where are their parents? When I was walking by them on the bridge, a 10 year old asked me if he should jump. I said no. The kids below were yelling at him to jump. He didnt jump. My neighbor said its thinning of the herd. I bet this review gets deleted.

This is another one of the best parks in The Woodlands. I only gave it 4 stars just because of the parking, which is not very big considering how often this park is used for festivities. Otherwise, it is ideal. There is a stage for concerts, a sand volleyball court, a trail along the water, an open field, picnic areas, workout stuff, and one of the best playgrounds for the kids in The Woodlands, with a huge apparatus and super giant rope bridge to climb. There are tons of ducks to feed here, and there are docks for boats and kayaks. Another great aspect of this park is the fact that its in walking distance to Hughes Landing. You can spend the day at the park and walk over there for some dinner or froyo. The whole park is very out in the open, as well, which makes it good to avoid mosquitoes.
