Ms Phillips was very patient and attentive in helping me setup my becoming Power of Attorney for my Mother. It was a little more complicated than the usual process since I live in Indiana and my Mother lives in Texas. Bottom line we accomplished what we set out to do. Im now Moms POA. I had been trying to get a divorce since November 2020 through an attorney I had initially hired. After a few months of that attorney not having good communication with me and seemed as he was just not wanting to work, he decided to withdraw from my case. I did research and came across Attorney Phillips. I reached out to her office in April 2021 and her Paralegal Edward answered most of my questions and was very helpful. Attorney Phillips took on my case and since day one the communication was awesome, she kept me informed of what was going on with my case. Fast forward to July and my divorced is finalized! Thank you Attorney Phillips and to your Paralegal Edward. If I ever need help with any legal case I will definitely go back to you guys!

I found Elizabeth through my employer Metlife legal plan and Im glad I did. Ive used her for all my attorney needs so far (pre-nup & will) and she has always delivered. Edward her paralegal is also incredibly organized and always calls/emails to remind me of due dates and is there to answer all my questions. Other law offices Ive encountered are typically super disorganized, fail to communicate or just never call all back period. I understand it is hard to run a personal business but Elizabeth Philips office is efficient, and I wouldnt hesitate to work with them for other needs even if not covered by the legal plan.

Elizabeth law firm is awful please do not use her. I went to her very upset about my divorce on June 21,2018 and explained how my ex wife Ayesha Lopez waited until I went to work and stole the money out of the account and took the furniture and left the house all of this in front of the kids. She took the case and waited until we actually went to the first court date to tell me that that she did not have he staff to handle the case and that I need to get a stronger attorney. Keep in mind we are regular 9 to 5 people there is not a lot property or account information involved and she knew all of these details before agreeing to the case In addition,we never talked to the judge my ex wife never had no domestic violence issues there no reason for the Mrs. Phillips to do what she did. She took half my retainer and put me in bad situation of finding another attorney in the middle of the proceedings. She is part of PREPAID LEGAL and I would advise you to stay away from them as well they do nothing but pick bad attorneys and do not reprimand them for bad service. Response Mrrs, Phillips I told you everything trhing that I new about the dirvorce. You could hav etold me from the beginning that you did not have te staff for the case. You told me that you thought divorce was going to be easy and when explained to you what I going I did d not tell you that it would be easy. In addution, you herad some commenst from the other which, my ex wife was lying about and turn ed that she was up to no good that you never took time to research you did not give option to present in front of the judge you just we needed to come back at another time. Also you did not do anything but take half my retainer all because you talk to the other attorney without me and partner with him against me. My review was very fair. I just want you to be upfront with people at the start and if you feel you cannot represent them let people know in the beginning because you will cost extra money and you put person further behind And to be cleared I was very honest and upfront about everything with you I did not do anything to my ex wife I told you we had few arguments nothing domestic violence no history of violence I had provided you with a case number from the police when I called them after she stole everything. Basically you did not even try and I hope your conscience is good with that and everyone beware.

Attorney Phillips did a great job originally for my court matter. However when filing our original petetion our contact information was not included, which has now made us ineligible to download an electronic copy from the courthouse website. It took me five calls and countless emails back and forth with the courthouse. I made two calls to Attorney Phillips office and spoke to Tamara. The first time I called her was to check the address filed. Thats when I found out none had been at all. The second call was after I had been dealing with the courthouse for weeks...Tamara was very rude to me. Even though I explained that I had been going around and around with the courthouse. She acted like I was just a bother and raised her voice at me. All of this could have been avoided if my contact information had been included in the original petition. A mistake made by them, not me. Now I no longer live in Houston and have to go through the incredibly lengthy process to request and purchase it by mail.
