My son ordered from cotton patch today and ordered his dad and myself (his mom) a chicken fried chicken plate and it s been a few hours since we work to be reheated and it s still very crunchy and fries are great as well as Mac n cheese being creamy. We ve never been to Cotton Patch but now we will definitely be going, and our food was delivered!! I give this place a 5-star. I don t know why it s a 3.8 rating!!! Great job and thank you for amazing food and quality!!

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE at b the Midland Location. Had a voucher for free meals due to a poor experience previously at this location. We ordered it to go and when we came to pick up our meals we were surprised to say the least. Not only did the kitchen manager ROBIN REFUSE to serve us, he was extremely rude and unprofessional. Making a huge scene in front of several employees, as well as patrons eating in the restaurant. He went so far as to scream and curse at me (and Im 8 months pregnant at this point ). ALL IN ALL HORRIBLE SERVICE. 10/10 WOULD NOT GO AGAIN.

We decided to come to Cotton Patch to celebrate my husbands birthday, we arrived at 330 on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant had 2 other tables seated, so we figured wed get in and out quickly. Should have wondered why it was empty at 330 on a Saturday instead and gone elsewhere. We waited 45 minutes on our food, had to ask multiple times for drink refills, my salmon was dried out with no seasoning, my husbands texmex salad was mostly tough iceberg lettuce, chicken was inedible with none of the black beans or corn that was supposed to accompany the salad. There were at least 10 staff members standing around talking, again only 2 tables and us, and not once did someone else check on us or pay attention to how long wed been sitting and waiting. The restaurant was unreasonably cold as well, and the music was on a 6 song loop, which added to the unpleasantness. Staff did remove my husbands salad after I explained it was inedible and was unfair to expect us to pay for it, especially for a birthday meal. We were offered a free dessert but declined due to the fact we didnt want to sit and wait another 45 minutes or more for it.

We went in today just as they were opening. We were seated right away and the employees were very friendly and eager to welcome and serve us. We started with the fried mushrooms and they were amazing. My husband really liked the honey mustard sauce that was served with them. When we asked what brand it was, we were impressed to learn it is made in house. The rolls were awesome and our meals were perfect and served quickly. Our server, Jose (I believe that was his name) was very attentive and helpful. We visited here once several years ago and had a poor experience, they ve certainly turned things around. We ll definitely not wait years to return again. I think we might just become Sunday lunch regulars!

First let me start by saying all of the other Cotton patches weve visited aim to pls. This store here was the worst experience weve ever had Im so disappointed. First they didnt honor or coupon so fine we still ordered. So our drinks tasted like other drinks lemon seeds in our soda second the fries where soggy n the pork chop wasnt cooked completely thats very bad some of our sides looked n tasted as if they have been sitting around for a day but then when we didnt even finish our food asked for the check I had mentioned to our waitress how bad the items were n everything she didnt bother asking any questions or seemed concerned in anyway seemed like she just wanted to be done with her shift to leave which I get it some good days some bad but it doesnt excuse the over all experience cotton patch is known for and thats satisfaction from the customer. I didnt want to make a scene and call the manager on duty to complain so we just paid our tab n walked out feeling so disappointed with this store. Every other store aims to please but why didnt this store idk. Anyway I hope its not always like that cuz most times they do have real good food n good service but today they failed. Hey everyone. I want to give a shout out to Tamara and the crew at Cotton Patch - Midland. DoorDash really hosed up my order and delivered over an hour after my food was ready. I called the driver who could not understand and told him to leave my order at the restaurant and he picked it up anyway. Tamara and the crew offered to remake my entire order because by the time DoorDash got it to my house it was nothing g short of disgusting. Boooooo!!! DoorDash. Touchdown Tamara and team. Just ordered tonight for pickup. We got there on time and waited for the food to be ready. It was cold ALL of the food was cold. The peach cobbler was so cold I could tell it had just been pulled out of the fridge, Congealed gravy too! Everything tasted like it had been made hours before. It was not fresh. The portions were so small that after finishing the entire plate my kids had to make ramen noodles bc they were still hungry. The girl tasked with bring the food out was mad or upset about something so she was rude and taking it out on the customers. I could have spent less money and gotten better quality food from a drive thru. Next time I will. This was terrible and I hope they see this review and are embarrassed and ashamed.

After initially getting a very poor welcoming, Melissa took us in under her wing and took really great care of us. Im SO happy she did! She was an excellent server and was very attentive and personable. Really made us feel welcomed! She single-handedly turned our whole experience around from the moment she greeted us. We decided to dine in for the first time and when we walked in the greeter had to go clean the booth before we were seated. Once seated an older gentleman walked by and said he would be with us shorty which took about 10 minutes. While we were waiting we were observing the restaurant and the floor was extremely nasty as if they hadn t swept in days. When the waiter finally came back we asked for a drink menu and he said they don t have them and he d have to go get the bartender. While we waited we saw the bar was empty. Our experience at the restaurant was unfortunately quite disappointing. We waited for over an hour to receive our appetizer, and when we brought this to the attention of the manager, she kindly offered not to charge us for it, which was a positive gesture. However, when the food finally arrived, we found that the appetizer was cold and the main dishes were lukewarm. The quality was not up to our expectations. Specifically, my daughters chicken tenders were chewy and seemed undercooked, while my sons burger was almost cold and the bun appeared stale. Moreover, throughout our visit, our waitress seemed more focused on engaging with customers at the bar rather than taking care of our needs. Despite requesting our ticket twice, she forgot to bring it to us, causing further frustration. We understand that the restaurant may be short-staffed, but we believe our waitress could have prioritized her tables over socializing with others. Considering the amount of time we spent there and the overall disappointing experience, we have decided that we will not be returning. It is disheartening, especially considering the total bill amounted to over $80. We expected better service and quality for such a significant expenditure.

The servers are nice a friendly but the food took forever to come out. I order a cod salad and I got it in 1hr - and it wasnt that great. We order appetizers (fried pickles-only got a handful) bread took forever to come out also wasn t cooked all the way, and the cornbread also took forever to come out and when it did come out it wasn t even cooked all the way. In all my wish is to get a full refund because this was just terrible probably the worst place I have ever eaten at we did get a $30 discount which was also trash but will never be back and I now understand why there was literally burly any people here. Oh yeah it was pretty dead and it still took that long we got there at 5:30pm left at 7:50pm all because they took forever to bring anything out and we didn t leave because our mother really wanted to try the place. Went in, took over 5 minutes to be greeted while being stared at by other staff. Menus tossed on the table as she walks off saying something about our server coming. 15 minutes later, no waitress or waiter, other staff still staring...no hi or hello from anyone. Ordered a chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken. Waiter brought out 2 chicken fried steaks. We sent one back it took the rest of the visit to get my chicken fried chicken it was dry and hard to eat. I didnt eat it . After paying I asked for manager he came over and we told him about our visit he said I take care of it I said how I paid for it already he said u want replaced I said no he said ok I take care of it. Fried fish 1 was undercooked the other raw, my wife got sick from it. We ordered Mac n cheese for side, got cold mashed potatoes, pointed out the Mac n cheese and he brought them and was barely warm and had hard crusty stuff. Server never refilled waters, wont be going back. Not worth the prices.

We went to Cotton Patch on Sunday afternoon. We were a group of eleven people that included four small kids. All kinds of food was ordered and everything came out as it should. We did have to wait a while, but that is to be expected. Our waiter was Jose and he was spectacular. He was literally running. He was super attentive during a very busy time and had an awesome attitude. It was a great experience overall. We will definitely be back.

My first at Cotton Patch Cafe. It has been a very long time since the server was excellent! You actually felt like you were out to eat and had an experience. The restaurant on my visit was super clean and our food was ample. It was not bad it was not great. Maybe next time Ill try something else. We had fish baskets and a pasta plate. The sides were tasty to me it tasted a bit like a chain restaurant. Again may have been our selection. Ill give them another try soon. Again I believe (Sida) was the server she was excellent!

I am a first-time customer today. I tried the fried bacon, and it was interesting, but I dont see me needing it again. The chicken fried steak was the toughest I have ever had. The sides were pretty much all bland like the cream gravey. The server Jose G was great and doing an excellent job. The food was 4/5. Above average and really good, definitely would go back for it. I took my husband out after a very horrible day to make him feel better. We sat for 15 minutes without even getting drinks. Basically ignored until we said something. Everyone seemed to say that someone else was responsible. They came by more frequently when my husband snapped a bit at one of the servers and complained about the wait, but I made sure to apologize, as did they. They forgot the onions on our food, but every place does, so its not a big issue. They did give us free cake, which was appreciated, but the staff really need to be more swift and reliable. The servers attitude was horrible and very disrespectful. The chicken had a thick layer of pepper. When asked the waiter if this was normal, he said I dont know and didnt bother to offer solutions to the problem. Had to ask for a managers help. Had from past experiences, Not here stopped coming in but after the excellent service and food that my Wife and I got we will be coming back. Wife had the chicken while I had the Beef Tips with mashed Taters, was totally Awesome the flavor and tenderness of those Beef Tips is incredible. Of corse we started of with the skillet of fresh and delicious cornbread with sweet tea, a must have.
