Made a last minute reservation for our first visit, but definitely won t be our last! Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, kept our drinks full, and checked on us regularly. We started with the arancini which was deep fried but light, cheesy, and the risottos filling was just delicious. My husband ordered the chicken parmesan and I had the ricotta cavatelli. The chicken parmesan was a large portion with light breading and the perfect balance of sauce and cheese so that you had a taste in every bite. The pasta on the side had a light white sauce which was creamy tasty. The ricotta cavatelli was rich, full of fresh lump crab meat, and 5-6 butterflied shrimp. It was a bit spicy, but so delicious it didn t matter! For dessert we had the seasonal butter cake, which had blackberries and just melted in your mouth. The decor is cute, modern, and clean. Large wine and drink selection we just weren t drinking that night. There s a bit of construction on the entry street right now, but doesn t affect the business at all! Delicious meal and great service - we are already looking forward to our next visit!

Really good food with great portions. We had a large party and they accommodated us with ease. Drinks were great and the appetizers were a hit with us. I had the charcuterie board for my meal as I enjoyed the appetizers a little too much. Their charcuterie board was amazing and the people in my party were little jealous when they saw what I got. Paired with a nice cab and I was very happy.

Nice views of the water while you sit on the patio enjoying dinner. The pizza is always good and meatballs appetizer is a good starter. The wine is a bit pricey and limited selection on whites/rose. Service was mediocre considering they werent busy but another waiter was nice enough to refill water glasses as needed. Parking: Valet 10$ otherwise parking at mall garage/lot available if feeling like a bit of a walk.

Waiter didnt seem into it this evening. Our Niece was celebrating her 17th birthday and chose her favorite restaurant... We had a room reserved... The Hehrs... Was our first time... I ordered a glass of wine... Was there for almost 2 hours and never asked if I wanted another, had a hard time getting our waiters attention. He seemed bothered really. 3 of us shared a meal... My friends took me out tonight for a bye bye booby party. I am having a double mastectomy in a couple weeks. The waitress heard us talking and joined right in on our celebration of us just being positive that this will be what is needed to rid me of cancer. She brought out a complimentary desert with a candle. We spent almost 3 hours laughing and just enjoying being out together. She never made us feel like we were overstaying our welcome. I really wish I would have gotten her name, I would love to shout her out for how she made our evening even that more special. The food was amazing! The atmosphere is so nice.. the music isn t so loud that you can t hear each other talk great place! We ll be back post surgery and cancer free!! Oh.. and let me mention again that the food was AMAZING!!

So beautiful in there. Loved getting a booth to the kitchen view. It was such an experience seeing the pasta folding and the woman smiling & laughing. The food was delicious, the calamari was cut a bit too thick for me and wasn t fully crusted. The pasta with short ribs was so good. Kinda needed a top off of Worcestershire sauce for me personally.

This was my first time at this chain, and it was very good. Quality ingredients and a diverse medium sized menu. We ordered the prosciutto bruschetta and the flavors of every part were excellent... But it was a very difficult dish to order and isnt what we expected. We wouldnt get it again, but it was good. I ordered the grilled branzino and it was good however, it was drenched in the butter sauce... It wouldve been much better if they went lighter on that. My husband got the Pig pizza with the dipping side. Again very good, however the meats were all very salty and that couldve been eased up on. Parking: Just park at the mall and walk from there!

When I first came in, I took a seat at the bar and waited for the rest of my party. Bartender was super sweet, quick with my drink and it was delicious. Fast forward to dinner. Everything tasted fine. But it was extremely disappointing that we had to pick up plates and hand them to staff, since we were running out of space. I know I was a server a while back ago, but pre-bussing tables should never go out of style. What took the experience from disappointing to upsetting, was the fact that we asked for napkins with our appetizer (we had no silverware,) and the server who was walking by was obviously upset we stopped him and inconvenienced him for any request. So he proceeded to grabbing us napkins from the restroom . Brown, paper napkins that are dispensed to dry your hands at the restroom. Very patronizing. When I say we ask for the bare minimum, as my husband and I were servers during several of our younger years, I mean it. My husband became upset and called him out requesting and clarifying that we needed dinner napkins with sliver ware. We will be happy to return to their location, in Houston, where we have received great service.

I came here with my children for fathers day and had a decent experience. My server, Colton, was great and provided amazing service. The food was...OK, but could have spent less and enjoyed it more somewhere else but we wanted something different. I ordered the PROSCIUTTO BRUSCHETTA for the app and it was hands down 100% amazing (I ordered without the truffle). For the entree, I ordered the Seared Sea Scallops, terrible choice. The scallops were ok, once you added a lil salt and peppers, the rest of the dish lacked soooo much flavor and was not a great combination. I subbed the asparagus for the kale & spinach and to my surprised it came all mixed together. The menu description reads asparagus, pancetta, crispy shallots, sweet corn risotto, calabrian vinaigrette I did not know that mean it was all mixed together with the Scallops served on top. I did not enjoy my dinner nor did I feel like making a fuss so I ate what I could. For my children, we ordered the Grilled chicken Alfredo. The grilled chicken was great! The Alfredo pasta was dry, and again, no flavor so my daughter just ate most of the chicken. My other daughter ordered the Spaghetti and meatballs, sorry to say again but just lacked and she did not like it either. In conclusion, my Fathers day dinner sucked and The best part of the night was the atmosphere, service and the great margarita I ordered. Oh and lets not forget that amazing APP!

We recently celebrated Fathers Day at North Italia and had a bit of an up-and-down experience. We kicked things off with the zucca chips and prosciutto bruschetta, and both were fantastic. Highly recommended! They were a delicious way to start the meal and beautifully presented. My wife ordered the ricotta cavatelli. The first bite surprised her the dish packed a spicy kick that wasnt mentioned on the menu. While she can handle some spice, it would have been great to know beforehand for those who might be more sensitive. Additionally, the lemon olive oil lacked any real lemon flavor, and there wasnt any bread to enjoy it with. For my main course, I went with the braised short rib lumache. While the portion size seemed a bit small for the price, the bigger disappointment was the lack of flavor. The menu mentioned fresh horseradish, but it was noticeably absent. We all know what horseradish brings to the table, and its absence left the dish feeling a bit one-note. Overall, the flavor fell a bit flat for me. The appetizers were beautifully presented, setting a high bar for the main course. Unfortunately, the pasta arrived in a plain white bowls, cafeteria style. The size of the bowl relative to the portion made it look even smaller. Presentation-wise, it just didnt match the starters. A big shoutout to our server! She was attentive throughout the meal, keeping our drinks refilled and providing friendly service. She did a great job, especially considering how busy it was. The final bill came to nearly $100, with just a soft drink and a glass of wine (no dessert). While the appetizers delivered, the main course left us feeling a bit underwhelmed. To be honest, we joked that even The Olive Garden would have at least offered bread and a salad. With so many Italian restaurants in the area, we probably wouldnt return to North Italia based on this experience. While the appetizers were great, the main courses and some missing menu details fell short. We wouldnt recommend the specific dishes we had to friends or visitors. Parking: You have to park at The Woodlands Mall parking lot or valet. Theres a parking garage nearby too, all require considerable walking.

We came here for a birthday celebration with some of corporate colleagues and their wives. One hostess wearing a completely opened back top with no bra and a nipp party going on and the other one with a black strapless top that barely covered her nipp. I felt uncomfortable that I had to place their wives in that situation. It was more like a nightclub attire, not business or family at all. Then, we wait 45 minutes to be seated, when we finally got seated everything felt very rushed, almost like they are trying to get you in and out of there as fast as they can. We got sat next to screaming children and the food takes decades to arrive. Sweet tea tastes good but the food is as mediocre as I should have expected it once I saw their attire.

Good food let down by awful service. Reserved a table for my son s birthday. Our server was miserable and completely inattentive. Drinks came with melted ice because they sat on the bar too long, empty plates sat for 20 minutes. No acknowledgment of a birthday, and I guess restaurants don t do anything for birthdays any longer. I d honestly not care, but this was a $50 per person visit and that s just too much to spend for a miserable service. Ruined a great day.

After a walk on one of the hottest days, I took my friend from Germany to eat, along with my dog, we tried to enter another place and they did not welcome us for bringing my pet. At North they welcomed us very well and even gave us a bowl of water for my dog Darling. We ate pesto pasta, one of my favorites! And the pizza with smoked cheese delicious! For me it is always a delight to my palate to eat in northern Italy. I have always had excellent waiters, the service is good and the waiting time is good since it is food that is made on the spot. Vegetarian options: You can order everything without the ingredients you dont want in your dish.

Service was HORRIBLE and it was NOT busy. Did not get our drinks until after our appetizers came out (soda and tea - not mixed drinks). Slow to even get somebody to come to our table. Me and my husband like the patio of the restaurant, so we drove 52 minutes to come here. The staffs were friendly, and we were lucky to be seated on the patio. The amount of food was generous, and only my squid ink pasta was too salty, so I could not finish it. But my overall experience was great, we will be back.

Kid pizza is toddler approved. Love the booster for the booths! The pizza with prosciutto was great. The beef carpaccio not my type, Im more of a thick parmesano, extra virgil olive oil kinda gal. Service was great, fast seating with no reservation on a friday 7pm!

Dined here for the first and last time last night. When we arrived they could not locate our reservation, however, found us a table at the bar. Ordered an appetizer that we sent back because it was completely burnt, then the second appetizer that we ordered was completely stale and olive oil dip lacked spices. We then asked for the manager because at this point, we weren t sure if we wanted to order dinner. Manager suggested a cheese/bread appetizer which was good. The ambience is nice, however this is not an ideal restaurant if you want a nice quiet dining experience. Mixed drink was a disappointment as well. Would not return.

More of a lunch place. We made a reservation for a birthday dinner thinking its a upscale Italian restaurant where we could have a quiet romantic dinner. The place is bright, very loud and would be just fine for a nice lunch. Most people were dressed very casually. The food was good. I really enjoyed every bite of my salmon fish. The flavors were outstanding. Husbands meat was supposed to be mid rare but it was definitely rare. The manager said so himself when we asked what it looked like to him. He offered to fry it some more and thats fine but it was handled like a no big deal every day occurrence type. That bugged me. It was also not seasoned properly. Usually at a nice place they greet you and ask if youre celebrating something. Not here. Even though I made a request for a quiet booth online when we arrived we were seated on the main floor,not around the corner where its more cozy and not so loud. Overall, a nice casual place. Wish the prices reflected it.

So far the best Italian restaurant we ve tried in the area. We started with calamari and grilled bread. Then the rigatoni vodka, pasta with short ribs and a side of risotto. To end with a tiramisu and coffee. Everything was amazing and Anthony s service was very good. Also the weather was amazing so we eat at the patio. Definitely coming back

They tried to pull a MAJOR no no. We were seated way before this family beside us, and I see entrees were served to them. These were our entrees. I could see the chicken parm and the pasta my girlfriend ordered. The family unknowingly ate some of the pasta, and realized it wasn t their food. The waiter brought the food back to the kitchen and immediately brought it to us. I told the lady I just saw the people next to us served the food and how gross it was they tried to give me the food. The lady was rude and said, no we didn t serve the food to them. I doubt they even touched it. What are you trying to say. I told her to return it, and she gave me an attitude, but eventually did.(this wasn t our waiter). Our waiter came over, and I told her the situation and she said that totally makes sense and that the manager would be coming over. The manager came over with an apology and remade the food. But it shouldn t have came to this because who knows what the cook did to our food back there knowing the food industry. Don t pull a fast one on your customers. People will notice. Hygiene is critical in food industry, and unfortunately they failed.

I ve been a couple times to North Italia and each one was amazing. The food is great! North Italia is definitely my safe space if I crave something Italian. The waiters are amazing. The service was great and attentive. Overall, the atmosphere is chill. There are lots of people who visit this place, so I am sort of confused, why it s only 4.2 stars for the reviews. You can wait up to an hour on a busy Saturday night, but that explains it - so many people want to get in while they re fully booked. The hostesses did a pretty good job managing people and remained positive and respectful to all guests. I was outside this time to avoid waiting, and even with ~55F it wasn t cold, since they heat the terrace too. Very much recommended.

The food was excellent and the service was very good. The only two negatives were that the restaurant was very loud and i needed to shout so the person sitting next to me could hear and I reserved a table for 6 a week before however the table was set up for 4 people (missing silverware, napkins and wine glasses) which were disappointing.

We love North Italia! Exciting food, but still kid friendly and convenient location. The pizza is very good, my son loves it! Ive tried a variety of dishes and never had a bad one. My favorite dish is the grilled branzino. Pricy for a typical evening out meal but worth the splurge. Kid-friendliness: Excellent wood fired pizza.
