Came to Texas Road house in the colony since it s our fav restaurant, we had to wait about 30 mins, once we got the food mine was under cooked, and they took it back. When they brought it back it was complete burned and my salmon and sweet potato tasted burned and was hard to eat it. I asked the waitress to call the manager and I told the manager my food was burned and she stood there arguing with me that they had to put it back on the grill that s why it was burned. They brought me a second sweet potato and was still burned. It s been over 1 hour and everyone ate and I m still waiting for them to cook my food. You be the judge!

Texas Roadhouse is tough to beat. Ive been to many of those fancy steakhouses in the dfw area and Im often left disappointed because the meat just didnt have the flavor. My go-to is the ribeye. Its juicy and perfectly cooked every time. If Im not in the mood for a juicy steak, well try always have some delicious fried catfish. Solid batter and nice and crispy. My kids can eat a truckload of those buns and honey butter. I wouldnt recommend this place is youre a vegan or watching your weight. After eating here youre belly be sticking out so you can literally watch your weight

My first time trying this place. Placed my order online. When I arrived at the pick up window, there was a female behind the glass on the phone. She never acknowledged me. Someone else came up and tried to get her attention as well. She ignored him too. Finally, after about 5 minutes, someone came from the back bringing multiple bags and asked could she help. I ordered the deviled eggs, they were tossed around in the container. Tasted a couple of days old. The catfish was good. The chicken fried chicken was mid at best. I got the rolls, but no famous butter in my bag. And no cutlery, even though I asked for it. I even tipped off my total for a pick up order.

Walked in the Togo area to order, they asked for a phone number, I said you Dont need it, she responded, we need it to text you when order is ready. I told her I will be standing here. Then asked for a name, I said you dont need it. Ill be standing here, I ordered 2 sweet potatoes plain, with cinnamon butter on the side, I guess you only get 1 roll per item, this location have always messed up orders( while dinng in), didnt think Togo would be this difficult, the food was not for me, but disappointed they on gave 2 dinner rolls, this is why I have this restaurant and chain, on my personal no go list,

Food is great but the bread they serve at the beginning is awesome! Comparing this place with some similar to around this area, I would say this is one of the best close to the Woodlands area in all terms price and food. However, almost always is full, so I would recommend making reservations before going. Otherwise, you might spend 30-45 minutes waiting

I m an avid TR fan. But, for the 4th time over the last 12 months my experience at the Colony Texas Roadhouse location has been unbelievably bad, unacceptable. 4 times me and/or my High School Buddies steaks have been WRONG in how they were cooked and the last time not only was it wrong but the kitchen missed the order all together (due to new order entry equipment) and then had to cook them and then my friend had to send his steak back because it wasn t cooked to his request. I have had it with one of us or both of us having to politely not start eating while waiting on the other one s steak and then your steak is COLD. Should have sent it back too! I don t get it?? The food was discounted but should have been comped 100%. And with all the bad service for some unacceptable reason our drinks are never comped?? Frankly drinking from your bar is really the only way to handle the frustration. My friend eats at the McKinney location all the time without an issue? Not sure I m gonna go to any TR again. We went to eat here to celebrate my sons birthday. The wait was long but I called ahead and we had a party of 11 so that was to be expected. When we got to the table our experience was incredible. Our server Dena was awesome. We had plenty of rolls, our drinks were refilled promptly and she was always checking on us to make sure we were doing ok and had everything we needed.

Earlier today, I went to this location and called ahead to be put on a waitlist for 10 people. The hostess asked for my phone number and told me that the table will be ready in 25-35 minutes. I would also get a text message. The call was put in at 7:21. At 7:43, we arrived at the location and checked with the server to see how long it would take. She said 25-35 minutes. I was a bit confused but nevertheless, I assumed it was just customers taking their time. Around 8 to 8:05, I was a bit frustrated and asked my mom to talk to the server. It turns out, I was never checked in because I did not receive a text message. My family and I were frustrated but we continued to wait. 30 minutes after that and there was still no sign for our table. We even asked to split our table in 6 and 4 so it could go quickly. Still, somehow there is a wait to clean the tables. While that was just making sure that it wasn t dirty for us to sit, I was extremely exhausted with waiting. Around 8:40, I told the waitress to cancel our spot. While I understand I should have took the initiative to ensure our table was getting ready, I had great experiences at other Texas Roadhouses that didn t escalate badly. I always put myself on the waitlist early, and I always get a text message. I do recognize the stress it puts on the host and hostess, but I don t believe it was my priority to figure out the tables.

so, I visited yesterday around 3pm for my anniversary with my fiance, This was a celebratory dinner with plans afterwards to we were very excited to eat and go one ahead with our other reservations in dallas. The service was great, atmosphere is exactly what you d expect, however By the time i got to the car, i was having trouble with my heart rate, my stomach, and nausea. We were there for about an hour, but half way through my plate i just was unable to finished because of how sick i was starting to feel. fast forward 30 minutes later, we re cancelling our plans parked outside a gas station while i am vomiting, unable to regulate my own temperature, and unable to walk without feeling incredibly faint. After a doctors visit this morning, i do have food poisoning and i am still dealing with horrible symptoms. i unfortunately came in contact with a bacteria that started to disagree with my body so rapidly that my body didnt have time to process or the ability to regulate until it was out. For anyone wondering, i had half of a 8oz sirloin, the inners of a baked potato, maybe 4-5 fried pickles and a mixed drink with water. I didnt start feeling sick until mid way through my steak, at that rate not even having finished half my mixed drink but most of my water. Whatever it may have been, The cooking or the handling of the food, it made me incredibly sick and i doubt i will trust the food here again which is incredibly unfortunate as i have always loved texas roadhouse for any and all celebrations.

If you want an authentic mid- American steak house family and budget friendly, this is your place. We enjoy the steak choices and decent prices my only complaint is the salads, those could be so much better. Other than that, the service has always been great. The atmosphere is always very lively and the place is packed most of the time. It can get quite crowded and loud inside but dont let that bother you, the steak is well worth it.

Great food. Great service. Excellent experience! We love Texas Roadhouse for a relatively quick and easy but tasty meal out. This location is our favorite because they always seem to have excellent service, whichever server we get. Consistent. Table No: 512 Date: 06/08/2024 Server: Destiny My recent visit to Texas Roadhouse was unfortunately marred by inattentive service. Upon arrival, the hostess seemed preoccupied and didnt acknowledge me right away. So, I interrupted the hostesses while talking to each other and asked politely if our table was ready, and she was like, Whats your name? I told her my name, and then she asked if I got a text saying the table was ready. I said yes, and that my son had already come in like 20 minutes ago. And then she goes, Well, I didnt check you in, so yeah, Ill try to get you the next table. This initial interaction set a negative tone for the entire experience. The overall atmosphere at the hostess stand wasnt welcoming at all. Staff appeared more focused on their phones than greeting guests. Unfortunately, the inattentiveness continued throughout the meal. We waited a significant amount of time for drink refills, and observing staff handle food with potentially contaminated gloves was concerning. Despite the service issues, the food arrived relatively quickly. However, my BBQ chicken was excessively drowned in sauce, masking any potential flavor. The ability to pay at the table was a convenience, saving us from waiting for the check. While the food arrived quickly, the service issues significantly detracted from the dining experience. Given the inattentiveness and lack of proper hygiene practices, Im hesitant to return to this particular location. However, I might consider trying a different Texas Roadhouse location in hopes of encountering a better-trained staff.

Hubby and I drive by a nearby Texas Roadhouse almost daily, yet it isnt on our list of places to visit. We decided to give it try one Friday evening. The first thing I did was go online and get on the wait list, a must on a Friday evening at around 7 pm. The place was packed, and there were people waiting outside, but the wait list worked, and we were seated right away. The service was excellent. My husband ordered the 12 oz Ribeye with grilled shrimp. I had the 3 piece Fried Catfish dinner. His steak was cooked perfectly medium and the grilled shrimp were flavorful but not overcooked. My catfish was crispy and hot but not greasy. Even when I reheated the leftover catfish the next day, it wasnt greasy. They give you these melt in your mouth rolls when you are seated with cinnamon/sugar butter, which my husband loved. I am a purest and prefer plain butter, which was provided upon request. Overall, it was a good experience. The food arrived quickly and piping hot, and the server was attentive. Warning, this place is loud. The crowd is eclectic from families to couples to sports teams, so the noise is of people having a good time. It is a chain restaurant, but it works. We will likely visit again. Dietary restrictions: Seafood allergy. The waitress said they only fry the catfish so no risk of cross contamination with fried shrimp since they grill the shrimp. Parking: Limited number of handicap spots.

Very good food and service I ordered takeout and had a baked potato but wasn t prepared fully I didn t even get cheese or butter on the side to do it myself. But otherwise the food was enjoyable and service is excellent

Portions seem to have shrunk, and doesnt look very appetising, but it tastes a lot better than it looks. They should have put it all on one plate instead of leaving one plate half empty. The sweet potatoes and herb crusted chicken are fantastic. Its a good thing they charge such high prices so they can pay a dozen people to stand around doing nothing at the front of the restaurant.

Ohhh my all time favorite place to eat at, the wait was a tad bit long but well worth it. Food was hot and delicious and of course the rolls were delicious as well.
