My girl friend and I were looking for a chill drinks and appetizers spot and this place was perfect! Nate at the bar was so accommodating, and introduced FANTASTIC food and crafty cocktails that are chef s kiss Ron, the GM was a fantastic host! We will definitely be back!

WOW! As soon as you walk in you re given an intimate rundown of the speakeasy s inspiration and what they offer. Red Phone Booth in the Granscape development in the Colony is a fantastic private speakeasy/cigar lounge in the most classic sense of American venues. There is an impeccable bar and cocktail menu, and the humidor is stocked with an excellent selection of fine cigars. There is a billiard table and TV screens in the game room. The service is top-drawer all the way, from AGM Tim, cigar man Eric in the humidor, to Isaac manning the door. GM Ron Badilla is a consummate gentleman. You will be delighted.

We went there for the 2nd time. We were very disappointed because of the way the waitress (her name, Saphron) treated us. She was rude and unfriendly, with a very bad attitude. It bothered us a lot, especially the way she touched the rim of the glasses. She definitely needs training...anyway, we love the guards in front. Theyre very professional and nice.

I was very disappointed. Did not get to pick seating. Was told only opening seating was at bar. If youre looking to be social, bring your own friends. Cigars are overpriced. For seasoned cigar smokers, humidor is average at best.

I generally dont post many reviews, but I definitely felt the need to review Red Phone Booth. This is probably the best cigar lounge/speakeasy in the DFW area, which is why I frequently visit the establishment. Here are some of the top key characteristics: Ventilation System: The ventilation system is super high quality. You will not go home with a cigar scent all over your clothes. The ventilation system almost instantly sucks the cigar smoke right out of the air. Cigar selection: The cigar selection is pretty diverse, so you can find almost all of the popular brands of cigars here. The cigars are also fresh because they are stored at the best temperature. If youre not too familiar cigars, Eric and Issac are the cigar experts to ask for guidance. They will recommend what to get and literally teach you how to smoke a cigar. Depending on what level membership you have, you can also get a cigar locker to keep your cigars in, which will keep them fresh. Drinks: The alcoholic beverage menu is pretty large and diverse, so there definitely is something for everyone, even if you choose a nonalcoholic beverage. The bartenders will shape the big ice cubes by hand right in front of you and then smoke your drink, which is always a great presentation. Staff: One of my favorite things about Red Phone Booth is the staff. Starting with leadership--The General Manager Ron is really great and professional and will greet guest to make sure everyones enjoying their experience. All of the other staff are outstanding as well. Ive had the best experiences with Tim, PJ, Serena, Eric, Issac and Josh. Service is extremely quick and the quality is always the best and consistent. The other staff are good as well and will provide great service to you/your group. Ambiance: The environment is really nice and laidback. Whether you want to have a cigar alone at the bar or have a social night with friends on the couches, the environment is very accommodating to whatever your vibe is. The dress code is enforced, so come classy. Overall, I definitely recommend this place and would rate it 10/10.

We finally made it down to this speakeasy in Grandscape. The entrance is a red phone booth where you punch in a special number to open a door....or you know, just open the door next to it with the guy waving everyone in. The drinks were great, and everything is a flat $16, unless you go for premium liquor. This is a cigar lounge, but the ventilation was decent enough to only having us slightly smell like an ash tray on exiting. The pizza was actually decent! The couches were comfy as well. Hannah was our server and she was fantastic. Drink service is pretty slow, even when there wasnt a crowd.

I can only hope that Ill be able to come back here because I know its members only and was only here apart of the members group. We all came in last minute and got a few drinks and they all were amazing. It was my first time in an establishment like this and it was pretty cool! I liked the authentic aesthetic. It is kind of fancy so dress to impress somewhat. The doorman and waitress were super kind. Hope to come back to try the food! Due to the establishment type though, if youre sensitive to cigar smoke you may want to bring an inhaler or something. Kid-friendliness: Probably not because bar and smoking.

Talk about a sexy atmosphere. Such a classy, cozy environment to enjoy with friends. We experienced amazing food, smoked old fashions and delicious cocktails. Bwalya was so friendly and helpful with drink and food suggestions and her timing was perfect for checking on us. Isaacs knowledge of the cigars in the walk in humidor was quiet impressive. Elle, the AGM made certain our evening was spectacular and treated us like royalty! We would highly recommend The Red Phone Booth and are thankful for a wonderful experience.

We walked in, and we were immediately greeted by the best bartender, Jose. He immediately blew us away with his customer service and knowledge. However, let s talk about the experience he provided us this evening. The drinks were top-notch, and he explained each step of the process so you could sit there and watch and make the drinks that were phenomenal. When he caramelized the top of a lime, then proceeded to gently remove the caramelized Brûlée top, and put that on top of a drink with sprinkles of cinnamon. Then we are warmly greeted by Ron, The manager. Ron is so kind and educated us on the amazing investment they have made in the kitchen with the Italian pizza ovens - ohhh the dough is amazing! This has to be a stop on any date night out on the town! Cheers!

Wow is all I can say! It s a place that makes you feel like you re part of something exclusive. I was greeted by DJ and was made to feel welcome right from the start. I met the General Manager Ron and he was kind enough to take me for a tour and this an amazing place. He went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and teach me the history of this and the other establishments in other cities. Food was fantastic! So my husband and I had a date night. After dinner we decided to head here for a night cap. Upon entry we were told we BOTH needed to wear a coat they would offer us. I was appalled frankly. As a woman I have never been made feel uncomfortable entering a bar and it was incredibly uncomfortable. We ended up leaving immediately. The place smelled like smoke because obviously there is a cigar bar - but if you dont like the smell of smoke its a problem. Just to further clarify - I was NOT dressed inappropriately. I had just been out for a date! Rothy flats, madewell black denim, sheer overlay blouse with a tank under, Tory Burch earrings. Getting told I dont meet dress code at a bar - this is an absolute first for me. We had 2 friends meet us here from out of town and one of them literally wearing a sports logo short sleeve casual shirt and sweatpants. They didnt say anything to him but they sure told me I was inappropriately dressed. Ill never go back and would not recommend.

From the IFYKYK style patronage to the super grounded house rules and even brilliantly integrated structural engineering to further facilitate the atmosphere on multiple levels (another ifykyk ;) Great and unique cocktails, cigars, and staff that has never heard of too much hospitality. I am very disappointed about the staff. We wanted to check the place for the first time with my family. The guy on the door told us that we either had to be a member or we had to find the code to enter. We thought that the code was online, so we tried to find it. It was very cold outside and we were looking for the code. After 20 min a second guy went out and told us that the code was not online and that tonight was for member only. I don t understand why the first guy couldn t be clear with the instructions. We literally wasted our time.

We walked in on a Wednesday night and they gave us a hard time to even walk in. We had just come from a Christmas dinner and both were dressed nice. Once in the door we were approached and said a member complained about a hole in my jeans and we were asked to leave. Are you serious? I first became familiar with Red Phone Booth in Atlanta Georgia. I moved to Texas and the colony location just open love the atmosphere love the sticks that they supply decent price great atmosphere. A nearby hotel gave me the number to get in, but it wasn t even correct. Luckily, it was early and slow, and they let us in. Our server, Hannah, was top notch and very knowledgeable about the drinks. Most of the drinks we ordered were very good, but the Ramos gin fizz was very disappointing. They re a very time intensive and challenging drink to make, and I ve enjoyed multiple Ramos gin fizzes all over the country at various speakeasies. Unfortunately, this one was the worst I ve had. It didn t taste as rich and creamy as it should have, and the foam barely reached above the lip of the glass. A good Ramos should have several inches of foam extending straight up from the rim. I think the issue was it didn t have any heavy cream in it, which is one of two key ingredients that makes it a Ramos and not just a plain old gin fizz. We also ordered the meatball sliders and a pizza. Both were tasty and a good pairing to our drinks. Despite the Ramos gin fizz being a let down, I enjoyed my visit, and would love to visit again to try more drinks from their extensive menu.

My husband and I were dressed nice and looking forward to having cocktails and cigars. My husband had a nice collared shirt on, me a very nice tank with overcoat blazer. My jeans had a couple of rips in them (not large) rips. They turned us away. There were literally 4 people in there at the bar. Another couple walked up and we noticed they turned them away as well. We are not in NYC people, nor in downtown Dallas. Lol. We have been to many speakeasy s world-wide as we lived overseas in Singapore. We find this to be amusing but sad. It s not good to turn away people for petty reasons.

After a Top Golf outing, we decided to mosey on over to tye Red Phone Booth to have a nice drink and a cigar. First off...Dallas doesnt have many indoor Cigar bars much less prohibition style speak easys. So it was definitely cool to see one randomly placed where the RPB is. You are greated at the door by an individual is a suit who then will escort you into the phonebooth for entry. Dont have a collared shirt? No problem...they will provide you a blazer as there is a dress code so do be aware of this. Lucky they had a 42 reg that fit me just fine. The drinks were good. The mixologist knows what they are doing and they carry a wide variety whiskey, Burbon, gins and they are proud of it. Even on the menu it compares itself to wagyu steak as opposed to a sizzler....funny stuff and very true but I think they are more of a texas roadhouse with Pappas prices. Dont mean that as a negative cause its a cool place for DFW but compared to the same style of venues in other cities...it falls pretty short...so if your new to these venues...it will probably blow your mind...if you travel a lot like myself, you will be less impressed. We did check out the humidor which has a great selection of cigars but none of us were in smoking moods that night. To round up...if youre from TX or visiting us and dont normally see these types of venues...definitely worth visiting for expensive drinks and indoor cigar smoking(your paying for the experience here). Also cool for client outtings. But if you frequent speakeasys in other places...you might want to keep looking ; )

It s a cool concept with a neat vibe sometimes. We have a membership and my wife and I have been about a half dozen times. We got the membership to have a cool/different spot to bring friends and family for a unique experience, but they always seem to come up short. We ve been embarrassed by the service and have had to apologize to our guests on 2 different occasion because we felt so bad how poorly we were taken care of. For trying to present themselves as ultra premium they often come up short on details. One example, listing on their menu that the French-75 is made with champagne, but actually making with Prosecco (an Italian-75?) I also recommend your read their cancellation policy before signing up, as it s a little aggressive in my opinion. I think this place has a lot of potential and think management could turn it around into an awesome quaint spot with a few minor adjustments.

Horrible staff and horrible experience. We walked up and the phone wasn t even working. The staff told us they were full and we could clearly see there was plenty of room inside. He then told us to wait and came back and proceeded to look us up and down to make sure we were in dress code and called out specific traits and humiliated us. Its not a speakeasy. The phone booth is just a gimmick and it didnt work when we were there. The glass door right next to it worked fine. Kind of kills the speakeasy vibe when the front door is right next to the secret door. The dress code is not consistently enforced. We watched people get denied entry for being out of dress code, then someone right behind them get let in for the same type of clothing. It seemed clear that if know the door guy, you get in, -regardless of how you are dressed. He was kind of dressed silly too btw... Looked like hed barely make their own dress code. I dont know why anyone would want a membership here. You dont need one to get in. Its not an upscale joint. Anyone can get in and pretend they are a baller because you can smoke a stogie and have a fancy drink on a couch. It wasnt terrible, but it wasnt great either. The best part was that the drink menu was interesting and the waitstaff was attentive. Its definitely not a speakeasy and it totally lacks the 1920s era vibe it aspires to have. However you must know the number to enter if you are not a member smile. the lounge s ventilation was so excellent you would have thought you were outside in the fresh air. I made a reservation here for a specific time. When we arrived we were told we had to wait for members to get in first. Even after so, they would only give us the run around as far as how much longer we would have to wait. The people they were letting in were of a certain skin color. I guess the rest of us in my party were not the correct skin color to be able to get, even with a reservation. After 30 minutes of getting nowhere we finally ended up leaving. My wife and I decided to end our date night with a new location that seemed to be a hit for so many and since we love cigars, we figured this would be something interesting. We were very lucky to have the manager at our restaurant walk us down to the Red Phone Booth and aid us in getting in. Once we walked in the gentleman at the front was dressed very sharply and provided a great overview of what the location had to offer. Once we were seated, we waited roughly 15 minutes to finally meet our server. The young lady came up to our table and asked yall eating? and we responded, no thank you we just ate and so she followed up with then what do you want to drink?. This is when I was already taken back because prior to my current employment I worked in the service industry for 8 years and I can tell you that her attitude, lack of knowledge, and lack of interest in the table is not how youre supposed to treat customers especially in an establishment like this. So once our drinks came the gentlemen that were also sharing the table with us had left and about 4 plates, silverware and 5 glasses were left on the table and the waitress never attempted to clear the table for us. I asked for a water as well and that glass was never brought to the table. I finally took it upon myself and cleared the dishes off the table and placed them on a nearby side table where they remained until we left 75 minutes later. Our waitress was seen servicing other tables and never once came back to our table for the first hour. Once the waitress came back, I just asked for our check even though we werent done smoking because we figured we would have a better time walking around outside. Once the waitress came back, she processed my payment and just walked off without any conversation. The doorman was great as we were walking out and even informed us that smoking outside isnt allowed and that security might have us throw our cigars away, but it was worth the risk. Thats enough about the service Id also like to talk about the overall business. The sofa we sat on was very uncomfortable however the chairs that were at smaller tables were great, the music was loud enough, and it was a variety of music, my old fashion wasnt very good, but drinks are different for everyone, but I can tell you that they do have a lot of drinks to pick from. Overall, the pictures dont do this place justice because we were disappointed and dress code isnt controlled. Going to this private lounge felt the same as sitting outside your local cigar lounge with the exception of the two gentlemen working the door. The picture attached shows a lovely table just remember that I had to clean it off and those were the only drinks we were offered our first hour. **GO AT YOUR OWN RISK**

A great speakeasy experience! Ive been in the wine/spirits business for close to 30 years, and the job has taken me to many bars, pubs, clubs, and several speakeasy establishments. Red Phone Booth is a first class place, with excellent service, a great selection of top shelf spirits and a wonderful atmosphere. A quick heads up. Be sure to adhere to dress code, no matter how much money you make, how cool you think your designer shorts look, or if you think rules dont apply to you. Failure to follow the dress code, you will be politely told to not enter and/or asked to leave. General Manager Ron Badilla took the extra step to introduce himself to our group at the bar / pharmacy and was very courteous and professional. Not many new dining or bar establishments GMs do that these days, greeting customers personally and ensuring the experience is pleasant. Seems like a legit speak easy. The security guy standing outside of the apparel co. Door will tell you to put the secret code into the phone booth. Surprise! When you dial the code, the apparel co. Guy walks into the door he doesnt let you in. And is also the door guy for the secret phone booth! He will open that up for you. Its a cigar bar that charges you to drink at their bar. I guess they are trying to feel exclusive? It was mostly empty... Im starting to understand why. I ordered my three prohibition drinks to judge a bar. I had to explain how to type a Vieux careé into the tablet for the waitress to figure out what it was. I ordered an Americano thinking it couldnt be messed up, but had to explain how it was made and recieved a sub par drink. its the cocktail that the Negroni was a derivative of, but wasnt in their ordering system. Despite excellent service and a speakeasy theme, I ordered a Martinez and to my regret I saw a crystal clear abomination walk across the floor to me. It wasnt bad. But it wasnt a Martinez... If your gonna market yourself as a prohibition speakeasy know what your doing.

This spot didnt make it high up on my list. If youre going to be an establishment of rules, you need to enforce your rules. I dont necessarily care fo the Red Phone Booth dress code, but it exists, and is prominently displayed on their site, yet I saw plenty of guys in here with basketball shoes on, a guy with a t-shirt on, one guy in basketball shorts. This has to be a joke. You want thousands of dollars for a corporate membership but cant enforce your rules? The place says it is open til 1am but I showed up at midnight and was told that they normally dont let people in this late. I dont understand that rule (which isnt published) but the place wasnt at capacity and I dont see any point in trying to become a member of a place that doesnt let you in if theyre open and operating. I tried to sit at the bar but when I walked up to the empty chair I saw that the woman seated beside had placed her purse in that chair. I asked if I could sit down and she looked at me and rolled her eyes, and didnt bother moving her bag which she was trying to display. If this is the kind of place im supposed to feel a sense of belonging in, no thank you. I did move along to a small table with two chairs, no waitress stopped by, no manager stopped by, I didnt end up getting a drink and left within 20mins of arrival. Kind of like others have stated, this bar, just like most cigar bars in the area, attracts many African American connoisseurs, a diversity I tend to enjoy unlike the sugarbaby/cougar following at Javiers. However, this place seems to also attract some of the female groupies that chase them around and didnt provide for an enjoyable mix.
