The server who waited my table made it obvious that she would have rather been doing other things with her time than waiting my table. This was my second encounter with her and I ve noticed that during both visits she doesn t look at me when she s talking to me but she s able to make eye contact with other customers at other tables. I didn t get her name but she s asian and looks sweet, but gives some sort of animosity vibe. Anyways, The only reason I keep coming back here is because the food is actually good. However, customer service needs improvement.

Here for lunch on a Saturday, great atmosphere and the staff were very attentive, making sure we had drinks and napkins during our seafood feast. And onto the food, the combo with shrimp and snow crab was perfect for 2 people. The atomic seasoning is all 3 combined so dont be afraid. We got a number 2 spice and it was good. The Cajun fries and spicy Korean wings were great.

More like Bag O Crap! The lobster we were served was not up to par, upon closer inspection, it was clear that the lobster had been frozen. This was disappointing, as we were told it was fresh lobster. Upon bringing this matter to the waitresss attention, she promptly denied it and assured me that she would investigate further... When she returned she stated they were live lobster once again... I requested to see a live lobster, only to be met with further deception. She informed us that we had acquired the only two live lobsters of the day. I found this intriguing due to the timing - 12:20 pm, exactly one hour and twenty minutes post opening. Additionally, it was one of the promotional combo specials currently available. She subsequently presented a photograph of lobsters, affirming that they were alive. She thought this visual evidence supported her claim, however, I had previously noticed the exact same image on their Google photos used for restaurant promotions. The lack of transparency in this establishment is concerning, and we were ultimately asked to leave in a hostile manner. It is important for restaurants to be honest with their customers about the quality of their ingredients. We would not have considered spending $35.95 for frozen lobster. I am accustomed to consuming fresh lobster, and this is the poorest quality I have ever encountered. We proceeded with the payment for the meal regardless, as it was never about the money. I made a follow-up call approximately an hour later to inquire about the availability of lobster. As I had anticipated, they did indeed have lobster in stock. Surprisingly, it appears that they promptly restocked their supply less than an hour after our departure. Proceed with caution.

We ordered to go. Shrimp and oyster baskets with garlic fries, atomic grilled shrimp dinner,12 piece BBQ wings, and a side of sweet potato fries. My 11yr twin grandsons went in and ordered. They said she was very nice to them. Baskets were a good size with plenty of fries. My daughter also enjoyed her atomic shrimp dinner. The wings were also very good. Portions were good, prices were reasonable, and the boys commented on how nice it was on the inside. I definitely recommend this place.

Stopped here first lunch and so glad I did. I have been trying to find a great place with CRAB and I found it. Food was delicious l, loved the garlic butter snow crab. Service was great, place was clean, atmosphere is pleasant. My server was a robot and Cienna. Robot is a cute touch and Cienna made sure we had everything.

Nicely decorated inside. I had the fried shrimp Po boy and fries. The shrimp to me didnt taste well, I didnt like the batter it reminded me a bit like the frozen shrimp Gortons. The fried oysters I had too were decent but tasted different than other places. The robot actually brought our food to our table, that was cool. Not the best for me but decent.

Everything was great! Be for-warned though they make it VERY spicy. At least they did that day. I ordered medium and it was so spicy I couldnt finish it. And Im used to spicy food. My wife ordered mild and said hers was very spicy. So just order your spiciness down a notch and youll be good!

My sisters and I had a fantastic dining experience. We were seated as soon as we walked in. Michelle was our server and she was awesome! She was very friendly and provided excellent service. She made us feel very welcomed and we really enjoyed talking to her. The food and drinks were outstanding! We ordered the snow crab and shrimp combo. And it was everything!!! Seafood perfection! Not to mention the portion size was enough for 2 people. We really enjoyed ourselves! It was the perfect start to our vacation! If we ever make another trip back to the area, this will be our first stop!

Im excited that this spot is in Texas city! The food was great with excellent flavor but Im leaving this review for our service. Michelle waited on our table and we all just loved her. She told us is was her second day and I wouldnt have known that if she didnt tell us. Michelle kept our glasses full and our hands clean. Hands down the best service Ive had in a long time. Im from Michigan. An $84.00 (with tip) meal usually involves dark mood lighting, wood paneled walls, soft music, china and unscratched silverware. So why spend that money in a strip mall restaurant with plastic forks, butcher block paper covered tables and bench seats? Because its bloody well WORTH IT! Mud-bugs (crawfish) are expensive, especially this year. But occasionally you get an itch that cannot be scratched except by taking the plunge. If youre going to dip your toe there is not a better place. Crawfish are a less expensive than touristy places and the spices are incredible! You end up with this platter mounded with mud bugs, two halves of corn and a couple of small potatoes all in a balloon like steam container. Lastly, why would I give full marks for the decor? Is because they have a huge picture of the USS Constitution taking on a French frigate. We had a quasi-war with France in 1799. How obscure can you get? (Yeah, Im a history geek too)

Very impressed with the service here and not just because of the robot server. This place is very well attended by the staff. The food was delicious. I will admit the gumbo was thicker than what Im used to and not as soupy but great flavor with lots of shrimp, chicken and sausage. I also had the fried fish on a bed of fries. Not kidding an entire basket of fries with about 5-6 fish filets. Very good value. The bar also looked very nice from where I sat. Awesome atmosphere.

I ve been here before never had a problem with the boiled shrimp, I decided I wanted to try some crawfish. The service was good but when I got the crawfish it s had a bad taste and old taste, I told the waitress and the manager came to the table I was telling her how they tasted bad. She got an attitude saying she can t get them remade or take it off my bill. I would ve been okay if they would ve just remade them but she couldn t even do that and I only ate 3 out of the 3 pounds I ordered. So I collected my things and paid my $45.41 tab. I probably won t come back again and paid money for something I couldn t enjoy.

Very Disappointed. Flavor was disgusting. Wings are trash. Spice level was WEAK. Flavor for the spicy korean and lemon pepper was a disappointment to my taste buds. I love a seafood boil but I don t like getting my hands dirty so when our waiter brought bibs, gloves, tissue, wet wipes, I had a big smile on my face cos I could really dig in. This place is AWESOME! The atmosphere is clean, elegant, and cozy for dining in. The food is made to order and always cooked to perfection with a good amount of food. Everything is seasoned to your liking. My only regret is that I didnt find them sooner. They are only a short drive from Galveston ulin Texas City but they are worth every minute of the drive. AND you can avoid all the overcrowding on Galveston Beach this time of year. EVERY restaurant in Galveston had lines and people waiting. Bag OCrab had a nice amount of people there and food was ready in about 15 minutes, piping hot, fish, and so so delicious!! The people who work there were so nice that we ate there twice this weekend! Check them out. You will not be disappointed!

If you re looking for a great seafood boil, Bag O Crab is where you re going to find it! I ordered a Combo 3 with a pound of snow crab and 3/4 pound of head-off shrimp, corn on the cob, potatoes, and sausage in garlic butter sauce with no spice. This boil was one of the best boils I ve had! The garlic butter sauce was a bit spicier than I was expecting for ordering with no spice, but it was a nice hint of spice and did not hurt my eating experience. The sausage was spicy, though, and maybe that added to the spice of the sauce. There were easily a dozen and a half jumbo shrimp and two (+ 2 legs) large snow crab clusters. My party s meals were brought to our table on a little robot cart, and our (human) server was great. The host had a great sense of humor and was a pleasure to interact with. The restaurant was clean with a ton of oceanic decor. I d definitely come back here again!

It was my first time eating here tonight, we celebrated my dads birthday. We had the onion rings as an appetizer they were nice and crispy. Then Me and my dad shared the combo 3 with Dungeness crab, shrimp potatoes, corn, and sausage. It was amazing we had it no spicy and the seasoning lemon pepper. My mom ordered the chicken tenders and sweet potato fries she loved it. The tender they were huge they gave a big portion. But the best thing was the robot server that was helping the waitresses it was so unique never seen anything like that. And the robot sang happy Birthday to my dad. Definitely will be coming back the delicious

They won t let you dine-in one hour before closing so check their times and plan accordingly. I work at a restaurant and I understand how frustrating it is to have people walking in 20 minutes before closing. But they won t serve you 1 hour before. Also that old lady at the register, the manager, owner or whatever, is extremely rude. I m not gonna lie. Working at restaurant is not easy so I kinda wish that rude old lady at the front worked at my restaurant to deal with the Karens and cheap a$$ plant workers. Anyway. They could work on their welcoming aspect.

When asked if we wanted a sauce told them yes didnt realize it was going to be covered in garlic butter. I was expecting crab boil with a dipping sauce for the crawfish tail. Call and the lady that answered the phone says everyone knows how they make and offered no refund or exchange. Poor customer service. Dont order any sauce if you like crab boiled crawfish.

Hey Bag O Crab, The food was delicious but service was a bit harsh. The waitress was an Asian lady who was pregnant. She gave us an attitude since it was our first time there. We kept asking questions about the menu. Overall, there wasn t anything nothing wrong with our meals except for our service.
