Reasonably priced, diner food with some Tex-mex on the menu. It s nice for something local. Pecan Banana pancakes had a nice hint of cinnamon but probably could have added bananas on top, same for the blueberry. Rico s club sandwich was ok, but missing that middle piece of bread for a true club. Friendly staff!

What an excellent lunch I had...ordered the Rigos Club sandwich...have to say it was fabulous! The service, food...well everything was great. Reminded me of a small Cafe my dad used to take me growing up... I highly recommend you drop in and have a bite to eat. Joe Vidor, Texas

I have been here several times & have turned several people on to Rigos. There are so many choices. The homemade burgers are great, the grilled pork chops are grilled to perfection, the hamburger steak & green beans were seasoned well, the blueberry pancakes & regular pancakes are so tasty as well as the bacon & sausage patties. My new place for a meal.

Waitress was very kind and sweet. Food was ehh. We started we chips and salsa. The salsa was so spicy. Husband bacon was cold, I had tomato soup with my sandwich. The soup was chunky like it had been reheated. The sand-which was very good. Overall, it was just not impressive.

Reminder of a simpler time, good food, old style restaurant / cafe , per person prices are around the $12 to $15 per person mark at the time of writing Jan 2024. 2-person lunch was about $34 with a drink, then add your tip. I would recommend it to anyone, and I will go back. Service is a 4 because they were busy at the time slightly under staffed for the number of people. However, it would be more like a 4.5 .. atmosphere isnt anything special but relaxing, nostalgic for older Millennials and beyond who want a reminder of how restaurants used to be.

Ms. Patty is the whole reason I still come, food is good but service is EVERYTHING. $10 to $15 for a good breakfast in the heart of Texas City. We ordered the breakfast burritos and chilaquiles with green salsa. Both were good not the best Ive had but definitely for the price and service merits four stars. The diner is eclectic and friendly and the parking is ample both in the lot and on the street. Happy to see places like this that are still around and have not turned into a chain. One should also note the business hours at time of posting is 7am to 2pm so come early.

Food and service were okay. We seated ourselves, they came over right away and were very pleasant. The order was wrong for half of our party. I had ordered ham and they sent bacon, but they said they would correct it right away we were almost done when they came out with a half a slice of lunch meat ham everything was okay until the ham that s looked like spam but worse We ll be back but I m not going to get the ham.

I just got 4 burritos omg the potatoes tasted burnt, the bacon tasted burnt, the eggs were dry and the hot sauce taste awful. 1st time here.I had the chicken fried steak breakfast and it was tasty, only the meat inside it was very thin and many bites had very little meat in them. I mentioned it to the waitress and her response was that they pound it down. Hash browns, eggs, etc were all excellent. I will try this place again, just not that meal.

We were there for breakfast this morning. Would not recommend. The waitress never checked on us and I had to go to the counter every time we needed something. For instance, ketchup for the chicken strips. I ordered the 1,2 and 3 breakfast. There was hair cooked into my bacon. I called the waitress over and asked if I could just get what was on the plate replaced bc of the hair. She said no. Keep it and well replace the bacon. SHE LEFT THE HAIRY BACON WITH ME..I had to move it to a napkin bc it was gross. She brought new bacon but never wanted to take the other bacon back. Additionally, they are over priced. We ordered a biscuit it was $3 by itself and it was your average small biscuit.

Well to start with this was my first time there and it was great, the service was great very friendly and helpful staff and the food was great also. An update, last time we were there was on a weekday, service was not good the server was complaining about all the customers there. The food for some reason was not that good is time.
