***** 2 Updates since initial review ***** My kids & I absolutely love this place. The reason that I give it 4 stars is because the bathroom situation is definitely a concern for me. Obviously the floors are wet but for some odd reason they constantly smell like urine ..... I have visited several water parks in the area and not one of their bathroom floors smell like urine. So we use the family restroom that tends to be a lot cleaner and dryer floors lol ..... but all in all we really like this place and will always come back, definitely a regular summer hangout spot for me and my boys age 8 UPDATE * Friday June 1st 2018... We checked to see if it would be open today by looking at the hours.... got dressed, covered in sunblock , drove all the way and guess what NOT FRIGGIN OPEN!! All the other pools and water parks properly listed if they were open or not. Why couldnt Nessler fo the same??? Smh, not happy at all! NESSLER AQUATIC CENTER... can you please be more forthcoming with key info such as what days you are not going to be open We love this place, we intend to be here 2-3 times a week this summer. But if we get stuck in this situation again, we will spend our summer elsewhere! UPDATE* Friday, June 14th, 2024. Price range: 5 Amenities: 4 Concessions: 5 Staff: 5 Cleanliness: -4 We have been visiting nessler for 7, 8 years now. Initially gave 4 but its clear to me now, June 2024, that the womens restroom is NOT cleaned during the day whatsoever!! If you go when they first open its not bad at all. However, throughout the day it gets more stinky & stinky, wet & smelling BAD like piss!! And I mean BAAAD!! Not only that, but the walls!! Theyre gross!! Ive seen gum, hair, writing and some kind of mess. The whole restroom is a biohazard!!! There are plenty of female staff to clean it once in the afternoon so what gives!???? I hope Nessler takes these issues to heart & can address at least the restrooms. Thatll change my 2 to 4 or 5. We do enjoy the center but Im not ok with the lack of Cleanliness.

I visited the place on May 28 of this year 2024 ok they took us out because there was a storm and for the safety of the people they closed the bad thing I barely had 1 hour left page 56 dollars in cash I asked for resivo me They said they didnt give anything, youre not allowed to bring in anything to drink or food, you have to consume in the place, he clarified it was my first time but its a nice place I hope it gets better Weather my next time

Went to the pool and was told that they do not let anyone in from 12-3 on the weekends. This information is not posted anywhere and seemed to be a rule the gentlemen in charge was making up rather than a city guideline. The pool was empty, parking lot less than half full, and he claimed they were at max capacity. I understand keeping the pool at regulation capacity but to make a blanket rule to not let anyone in even though people are leaving is an inefficient and inconvenient policy. If that s how you want to run things make it official and post the rules so people don t waste their time.

Brooklyns customer service was outstanding!! Great place to spend with friends and family. If you wanna cool down for the summer or through a birthday party, this is the spot. And you cant beat the prices or location.

Perfect for the kiddos. Only $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for kids. No food is allowed, but water is ok. Small enough for parents to watch over their children, big enough for the kids to have a great time.

Good for an afternoon outdoor activity. No five star because the kiddie pool/ only pool is in the middle of the lazy river which complicates how to get and chill. You have to be a salmon swimming up river to enjoy the pool area.

Nice place to go swimming, as long as it doesnt get to crowded, wich it will. Go early before 10am to make sure to get a table. About after 1pm people will start flowing in. So 10am-1pm I recommend.

My family had a wonderful time here We arrived about an hour after they opened on a Saturday and it was still pretty empty. We were able to get close, covered, seating which was great. It never got as crowded as I had expected it to so we were able to fully enjoy everything the entire time we were there. We will definitely be going back!

Its not for Adults without children. Me and my husband wanted to go swimming just to cool off. But this place does not offer an Adult pool. Everything is 3 feet deep. So we left and found a Adult pool.

Its good for the price but if u are a family with morals and respect do not bring your kids here! Its filled with little hoodlum kids who cuss and fight and no parents in site. Its beyond over crowded and the kids run wild. This place doesnt monitor anything. Im so disappointed.

This past summer had been a huge improvement from past experiences. As a previous lifeguard at water parks, ocean rescue, and now nurse, I was impressed with the overall professionalism of these young ladies and gentlemen. Great hideout to tan and let your kids swim without running all over the place.

I would not recommend going back until they fix issues with their lifeguards and safety equipment. I d say at least 20%of the lifeguards on active lifeguard duty were distracted or not paying attention to their zones and where more preoccupied with taking with or horse playing with younger kids. I mentioned it to the manager and he corrected the most egregious behavior. Then twenty minutes later one lifeguard was on the stand after being talked to by the manager and he was continuing to horseplay with a kid and other lifeguards. Additionally, not sure of the regulation but of the 10-15 rescue tubes I saw, about half had serious wear and tear. I would not recommend going back until they fix their safety issues.

The staff is rude and incredibly disrespectful. Its not even a swimming pool. Its 2 slides and a lazy river. Its always crowded and the pool and deck is incredibly poorly maintained. Mold on many surfaces. Would not recommend. League City Swimming Pool is better.

The Nessler Swimming Pool is a great place to spend the day with the family by the pool . The price is really cheap $ 4.00 for adults and $ 3.00 for children 15 years and under if you live in Texas City . It is $8.00 for an hour adults and $ 6.00 for children 15 years old and under . The Nessler pool has a kids slide , lazy river and two slides for the older children and adults . They have a snackbar that has water, juice , chips, hot dogs and candy . The snackbar is cash only .

Small water park is awesome. Great if you have small kids so that you can keep a eye on them at all times. Only thing I do not like is teenagers being allowed to cling on each other kissing while there is so many small kids around. I feel like its very inappropriate and shouldnt be allowed. Other than that its awesome place!
