Terrible service, they ask for $600 and do nothing, because my brother had to go to the hearing alone and the lawyer was not even aware of the hearing date, it is the down payment of the first $600 that they take from you and from there they do no more nothing

I called because a family member was detained and I needed some information. Jessica, the person that answered, was rude and told me she couldnt help me and hung up on me. I decided to stop by because that was unacceptable to me. The assistants Claudia and Alexandra were very helpful. They thoroughly explained the process and were able to calm me down. Fortunately, my relative was released but the information that I was given helped us out a lot. Claudia and Alexandra were professional, understanding and helpful. Im glad I ignored Jessica and stopped by instead! 5 stars for their help, I can only predict how well they would ve fought for my family had the outcome been the opposite.

Norberto Cardenas is a great immigration attorney. He helped me during my removal proceedings. Even though, the odds were against me, I managed to overturn my removal proceedings by proving hardship, many cases fail proving that hardship. Norberto and his team were able to overturn my removal proceedings and after a long process to my becoming a U.S. Resident then applying and appealing for my citizenship, I am now a U.S. Citizen of the United States America. Him and his team are extremely professional and I strongly recommend them. Norberto Cárdenas is a great immigration lawyer. He helped me during my deportation process. Although the odds were against me, he managed to overturn my deportation proceedings by demonstrating hardships, many cases do not demonstrate such hardships. Norberto and his team were able to overturn my deportation proceedings and after a long process to become a US resident and then apply for and appeal my citizenship, I am now a US citizen of the United States of America. I highly recommend this firm. Ms. Rowena Rodriguez was our contact person throughout my husband s process. From the moment he was detained until he got his green card approved just a week ago. I had gotten this firm because it was the only one that would was flexible with the initial payments, but it wasn t about the money that we stayed with them. It was the results that we quickly saw & the way we were always consulted. Ms. Rodriguez was always very patient with all the questions we had & she explained every single step of the process very clear to us. She was very prompt to answering my emails. All I needed was an affidavit to get my passport and they couldn t even do that. Lawyer was nice that one time I met him, but then 3 whole weeks went by and I couldn t schedule the affidavit. His staff was rude and eventually started ignoring my calls and getting bothered that I asked for an update or at least appointment date to take care of the affidavit. Eventually I was over it and asked for my documents back on a Friday. Front desk lady was rude and told us to go back until Monday. She was upset that we hadn t called to warn her we needed the documents. Not like they answered my calls anyway. I have never experienced such bad service in my life. I never write reviews but this is necessary. Please spend ur money elsewhere. I never got a refund even though no service was ever rendered. Even getting my documents back was like pulling teeth. If there was a 0 star option I would select that instead.

I regret waisting my time and calling this law firm. I doubted from the reviews that the firm would actually not call their clients as I work in the same work environment and know from first hand how tough it s to catch up with cases. When it comes to payment they are very quick to accept it. However, it s more than a week that the attorney or the assistant has not follow up with my cousins case. We were told that she was exposed to COVID and they couldn t visit. We were told by my cousin a visit or an attempt visit never happened. She was also not exposed to COVID. FYI my uncle never ever spoke with the actual attorney (RED FLAG). The attorney never called him to let him know what were the next steps. If I didn t call the firm we wouldn t know what the steps were . We were told by reception that the attorney spoke with my cousin at the detention center but then the assistant contradicted and said otherwise. We learned she was released by immigration without the help of this attorney and is currently at a church. Whenever I had called for a follow up on the case the assistant or the receptionist would say the attorney is at the detention center. The issue here is lack of communication and actually providing the services we paid for. Do not waist your time when you are going through a tough situation. Very unprofessional.

I want to share my experience with Mr Cardenas, my wife received a letter from immigration dept denying the application for crossing card when she is a US citizen. He explained to me the reason with all details, making easier to understand the reason. Mr Cardenas gather all the information we had and make the case in a very professional way I was impressed with all the information he was able to research and found to support our case. After a very short time that Mr Cardenas sent all the information in a very detailed manner to inmmigration dept, we were so happy to receive my wifes crossing card with no more questions from Inmmigration Dept. They are thieves, I paid 1,500 dollars to help my brother-in-law and they didnt even go to see him and they told me we are going to give him his money back. To this day they dont answer the phone and he didnt give me anything back. Its a shame that they take advantage of the situation. Googled immigration lawyer in Laredo and this was one of the top rated results. Read through some of the reviews and while I was hesitant I called. The very first thing they will do is gather few details and then pitch their sale that its $500 to visit the person detained at the detention center. They will not help you further until you pay the $500. And according to them, until they get all the details and the full story they can not advise you. I went ahead and made the payment over the phone because like everyone, we are desperate and want to move quickly. After payment was approved on the same day they made arrangements to go to the detention center. They indicated that within hours of the visit youll get a call with their advice based on all the information and your situation. I did not recieved a call. It was not until 2-3 days after that I was updated and thats only because I called them. Fast forward a few weeks later, I have been leaving voicemails and I have yet to recieve a callback and my spouse has date in front of the judge in a few days. Long review short.... they will charge you $500 to basically get information and give you recommendations that you can get from google.

Since most of the reviews were great I decided to hire this Lawyer. They will take your payment right away with no doubt. I explained the situation over the phone as it was, came to find out she couldnt do anything even though she knew the EXACT case. I have called multiple times and left messages for Lawyer Rodriguez, as of now NO ONE has returned my calls to atleast tell me theyre busy and will get in touch with me as soon as they can. They do take advantage that youre in another state! I mean, what are Lawyers for if they dont try to help you or at least advice you? This attorney stoled $500 from us, we paid him to start defending our family member who was being detained in Laredo. Claudia told me all the things that this attorney will be able to do to help my brother. It has passed 8 months and he never went to visit with my brother. I kept calling Claudia and she kept lying, saying the attorney is on his way, he will be there this afternoon, he was there, etc. Nothing, they just kept the $500 for nothing.
