I myself and my 2 nieces had the best experience as a customer.Ms. Flo we call her mama Flogave us the up most respect service with a happy smile and sweet spirit then came the gentleman who served us with chips and dips with a Happy Spirit I think his name was Mr Santos. Kudos to this establishment .We will definitely will be back and I highly recommend this restaurant.

We go here for dinner whenever we get an urge for Mexican. Always delicious with big portions and never ending chips and salsa. The frozen margaritas are perfect every time. Only down side is you have to walk through the smoking section to get to the non-smoking section hence 4 s. Yet again today, no sour cream included with the quesadillas to-go. I even asked when I picked up and was guaranteed it was in the container. 3 stars as promised!

PREFER HERE OVER TAQUERIA (jal. & vallata in tc are owned by the SAME family) ANYDAY their customer service is amazing everyone is super sweet! I dont get looked at crazy when i walk in they actually GREET you even if your by YOURSELF..And they give chips and salsa with to go orders ! Dont matter if its only a 10$ order.. taqueria dont do that. Also if your vegetarian THEY HAVE ALOT OF VEGETARIAN OPTIONS.. taqueria dont. the tortillas are fresh and homemade thats important for me as Im Mexican myself..the Salsa is on point .. I was so wrapped up in taqueria I never realized how good terazas was . But thats why they are always packed! MAKES SENSE Their not dirty like taqueria that has their meat just sit out already cooked! They make their dishes FRESH! I hate to compare but honestly I just want to enlighten everyone on how good this restaurant is OVERALL with their competitors! I believe its very important. Ive found beard hair multiple times in my food at taqueria trust me I didnt want to bash them but after Ive been treated like crap every time I go there (WHEN I BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR YEARS!) and they started giving me expired salsa when I would ask for spicy salsa. It just was horrid. Then I got chicken that tasted like TUNA which is a clear indication that the meat was rotten because I felt sick IMMEDIATELY after.. so I would like to atleast give you this information because thats not fair.. I wouldnt want anyone to get sick! Food is nothing to play with especially CHICKEN. Im spreading awareness I wouldnt want anyone ending up in the hospital over food poisoning ! I tried to ignore the fact that I was being treated horribly because i did like their food but once they started giving me expired things and me finding beard hair in my food.. yea I just simply wont go there anymore and Im glad I found a good Mexican restaurant in tc that I can go to now! Want a good margarita?? Or some good Mexican food?? HERE IS THE PLACE!! Thank me later Vegetarian options: Their spinach enchiladas are amazing as well if your vegetarian here is your place!

We stopped here for lunch after kayaking at the Texas City Dike all morning. Pretty standard Tex-Mex fare, but the service was great, and the vibe was chill. We sat at the bar (which does allow smoking just so you are aware), to watch the Euro Cup soccer game. The service was great, and the beer was cold. I had the shrimp fajitas and my boyfriend had the fish tacos. The covered parking was a nice perk because the truck was still pretty cool by the time we were finished.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in Texas city!!! The store mgr. and his staff were super friendly, nice atmosphere, great food. We have been here twice. We pass the place often but we always thought it was a closed restaurant. The building is set back off of the main road so it can be easy to miss. Parking is kind of confusing. People are parked every which way. I was immediately turned off when I went through the front door. I was greeted with a wave of cigarette smoke. I didnt think you should have to walk through smoke to get to the non-smoking section. The ventilation in the non-smoking section was good. Service wasnt great. Our waiter really didnt listen, and we had to wait for a while between visits. The margaritas were good and reasonably priced. I had a taco salad. It was pretty good as well. The little lady had nachos. One thing she mention about the nachos was that this place covered the nacho completely, unlike other restaurants that only cover half of the chip. Its a nice change from other local Mexican restaurants.

Prices on the menu have changed on some menus and some are the same old price.when i received the bill it didnt match the menu price i called for the manager,so I could get an answer why the bill doesnt match the menu price.margaritas were off .50 and 1.00 on the carbon tacos.x5 he said he would fix it personally on the menu. Weeks and months later he still hasnt fixed this issue and today I was told by the waiting staff that he would give one person the 12.95 tacos but not the other because the other menu had the correct price. I said well never mind we will take are business elsewhere. Because I have done brought this issue up to the manager and staff 3 times and he still hasnt done anything about it. False advertisement at the customer expense.

Decent parking, cigarette smokey from the bar right at the entrance as soon as we walked in. Chips and salsa tasted out of a can or jar nothing special there. A bit expensive, but you get a great size portion, the food had a bit of an aftertaste, guacamole was Not fresh or handmade, tasted awful. Good lighting, nice seating, server was very cool and helpful with making a good choice on food. Spent 45 for two. Finally, the margaritas were awesome though! were $4.25 for happy hour, and it was litterally full to the brim! This place is good for a small meal, a great drink, and a nice cantina feel.

To be serving 2 larger parties, himself, our server was on it. He managed to disappear once or twice, but I would too if I was serving our party. The food arrived almost altogether sith maybe a side or two that was missed, but again, our party is a little Can I get? Would you please and Im sorry but can I have ___ instead? For the life of me, I cant remember what the name of the chicken plate I had was, but Ill be darned if it wasnt awesome. The seafood stuffed jalapenos were super crispy outside and soft and melt inside. Good flavor balance also. Check it out if youre in the TC area, its definitely worth it. Flavor and price wise.

Got the Nacho Supreme, beef fajitas with cheese, they look more like tostadas with meat and cheeses , they gave me chips and salsa on the side too, the flavor of the meat was ok, not the best , Ive have tasted better out there, the price was a bit pricey too almost 16 dollars, did I get the wrong item?
