I was trying to find some pipes for my kitchen sink. I had an employee from another department try to help but didnt know what I was talking about. She called for someone on the radio to help. When he answered her, he was very sarcastic on the radio. I waited quite some time, and he never showed up to help.

Terrible inventory controls and customer service. Drove 30 minutes for an item that has 5 in stock BUT no one can seem to locate the item. Store associates sent me back and forth across the store and a manager only became available when I went to customer service to ask for a name and number that I could follow up with. HUGE waste of time

Inventory is really screwed up for this location I drove all the way down here from Houston because it said online they had 28 of what I needed but when I got there they had zero. This is the reason more people are shopping online with Amazon because you dont have to worry about driving all the way somewhere wasting your gas and then they dont have what they claim they have and hey you get it shipped right to your house for free

I went to shop at Texas city location at 12:40 pm on August 25th with my parents . I had asked floor guy to please assist us with pricing and he was not only rude but didn t even want to help us . He just said this is price and turned around and left after we told him that me and my husband price checked on our phone and that wasn t the correct tile on sign that we were looking for . And he just ignored us .. so i decided to get another employee who was kind enough to help us and then original floor guy decided to jump in and try to assist once he saw we got someone else .. I felt very angry because I feel like he was treating my parents like they didn t know nothing just because they don t speak English. After the second employee helped us Turns out we were right the floor we wanted to check wasn t on floor and that wasn t the price on sign . He was just too lazy to check for us . Very disappointed

There are plenty of items to choose from. You almost always find what you are looking for & things you werent looking for. Theres always something in the main aisles or the corners of the aisles that catch your eye. My biggest complaint is trying to find someone who works there to assist you. Sometimes you have to call for help a few times before someone shows up.

I have had to cancel my credit card 3 times because the website allows one to edit information that should be verified by email not in the website because the hackers are able to use my card and change my information. Lows refused to fix this problem and wont even acknowledge the issue. So I wont ever use this store again.

We were trying to find the wall color for my daughters room. Her room color was not available anymore since it was a color from years ago, so we brought sample to Shalayna Waits at the paint counter Texas City Lowes. What an amazing experience! She was so knowledgeable of what we needed very detailed and matched the old color on my daughters wall perfectly!! She was so kind and answered every question we had. Anytime, we need assistance with paint from now on we know where to go! Thank you sooo much Shalayna Waits!!

The price reflected on the shelf was wrong, when asked for this to be honored, the manager declined. No problem went to front to check out after another manager had to come and eventually override for me to have a 10% discount. The older female cashier in the Pro section was super rude, claimed she had to get her line down before helping me and only had 1 customer that had just walked up with one item! Wow, out of all the frustration of trying to purchase lumber to assist an elderly woman after the storm, I could not believe this elderly cashier was being so ugly to regular paying customers in such a tragic time in the city. However, there was Sharm and Rob two awesome other employees that were super nice and helpful along this event. They actually made my day, but the upper management female and her female cashier attitudes could use some adjusting during disaster situations.

Switched my 5 star to a 1 star review due to scheduling an appointment for someone to come and give us a quote on a door installation. The guy that had me down called yesterday and said we were his 2nd appointment of the day and to expect him by 10:30 am. Ok, cool. No worries. 10:30 came and went......and then 1 pm came and went. Dude was a total no show. (We scheduled our appointment time between 9am-1pm today). I called Lowes to let them know that the guy never showed up. The person I spoke with said he would call the person that was supposed to come out and see what was going on and hed call me back. Guess what? Ding, ding, ding....we have a winner.....the employee never called me back. So....we are not any further along in getting a new door installed. Shoulda listened to the hubs and found someone local to help us instead!

I bought a pressure washer from this Lowes on April 22, 2024. It is electric. My first opportunity to use the washer didnt come until it was 30 days since I bought it. These items typically arent used every day. The gfci on the power cord tripped twice while I was using it and after the second trip, it wouldnt reset. I loaded it up and took it in for exchange and they refused to exchange it. I paid $161.00 for a pressure washer that cleaned about a 10 foot square.

I was shopping around for some outdoor supplies, and I spoke two one person on the floor who was kind of helpful, but didnt really help me through the buy one get one options they had advertised. When I went through the garden center to check out, the cashier (Alexander) was there and confirmed the items I had were not included in the sale. He took the time to take me back to the area and find both items and confirm their SKUs were part of that sale since there were like 50 different SKUs listed. Id highly encourage this Lowes to train their staff to take the same customer service approach Alexander did since one of the other people I spoke with their didnt offer much help. I was there this past Saturday around 1p. Thanks for your help, Alexander!!

I bought a Samsung Washer and Dryer in September 2023 from Lowes in Texas City, Tx 77590. This was the worst purchase I ever made. This is a piece of junk. I started having problems with the Dryer in February. I call Samsung customer service to get the Dryer fix. They scheduled me an appointment and a hour later the appointment was cancelled. They never called me back to reschedule another appointment. Now my washer is broke all my clothes have spots on them because the agitator isn t working. My water and electricity bill has gone up. I called Samsung to schedule an appointment for my washer. They told me, they would be here today 05/17/2024. They call to cancel the appointment. This company appliances are not as Good as LG are GE. I was fooled into buying this appliance because it was told to me it was an energy saver. It hasn t save me any money yet. These machines are a Piece of Junk do not buy. I wanted to give a zero but I couldn t post my review

This store is overall really clean, organized and the employees are generally helpful....but today at the self check out... I dont want to put to much out there, but the lady I asked help from with the glasses was just not helpful at all and I think that needs to be addressed lol. I asked her where to find an item that I pulled up on my phone. I showed her the picture, pointed at the description of the item location and I said, it shows where its located (aisle 60), but I cant find this item. And she says its aisle 60, bay 3 and I was like... I literally showed you that and I was asking if you could point me to where aisle 60 is because I cant find it. And she tells me the completely wrong directions. Not even nice about. She seemed as if I was inconveniencing her or something. Idk if shes trolling me, had a long day, or if shes completely incompetent. Had to ask another gentleman to help me and he gave me simple, concise, and easy to follow directions.

The garden center looked nice and the Rosemary I bought looked better than what Krogers sells for the same price. Pleasant experience. Update 2/20/24 Still nice. Made keys at the kiosk. Worst Lowes ever! Really quite unbelievable. Every time I have gone, it s been a very unpleasant experience. Had to go 10 extra miles to another one and it s night and day. Will continue to drive 10 extra miles! Lazy incompetence is how I would describe this location. Store not stocked well either. I went to purchase a piece of glass and have it cut. The blade was needing replaced. Glass kept chipping. The employee said they had to call a service company to change it for them. Took it to League City location, their razor needed changing as well. They changed it, took care of it for me immediately.

Rented a carpet cleaner. When I returned there was a very nice young man alone and very new. He could not figure out how to do the return and reached out to SEVERAL coworkers and was basically ignored. He requested assistance over the intercom. The leadership at the time did not respond for at least 15 minutes. The young man was more nervous as minutes ticked by. Finally the head cashier as identified by her badge came over. The two together figured out how to do the return. I was in the store over an hour just to return the cleaner. Come Monday I start receiving rude messages from someone at lowes advising they returned my whole deposit and that I needed to call and pay my balance. She calls again today. She tells me she needs my credit card to settle my bill. I told her it was not my problem they did something incorrectly. She proceeds to get nasty and tell me they will be sending me a certified letter and that I stole by not paying my bill. That law enforcement will be notified. I have receipts that they gave me. I stole nothing and this woman threatens me with law enforcement???? Lowes train your people correctly!!! Do not leave people without proper training alone. The nasty one that threatened me should be fired. Then rental was $26 and she thinks its ok to threaten me and call me a thief. Not ok Lowes.

Met the rudest store manager I have ever met in my life. Third visit in a row looking for a specific item. First time I couldnt get waited on, even after asking for help. Second time, I found the item I wanted, it was an outside item, so I went in and ask for someone to assist me outside. Went out and waited in the heat almost 30 minutes, went back in and asked again. 4 employees heard me and never came outside...I left. 3rd visit went for a different item they had advertised on sale in their add. Said it was in stock. I couldnt find it, asked for help. The manager Emma, came and looked, then said it was out of stock, I pulled up the ad on my phone and showed that it showed 7 in stock. I asked if maybe it could be in the back? She became belligerent, rude and loud. Too young and lazy to be a manager Id say. I will never shop at Lowes again. Found everything I needed at a better price and with jelpful cheerful employees at Home Depot.

I will never order from this place online or shop here again. I should of just wife in to get the 2 things we needed, while I m at work. Online says be ready in about 3 hours, still says preparing your order. You can and they can t even find the associate. Then order was supposedly ready, but when my wife got there they said they don t have it in stock. So my wife asked them what do y all have in stock, while she was waiting for them to see, the idiot at the counter canceled my order. You would think they would of waited to see if you wanted to upgrade. But no instead they want you to pay again for the more expensive item. So now im out almost $200, till it goes back on my card. What a joke this place is. Never coming back and i almost always go here. Home depot here we come and im bringing more customers

I ve in the past not been the biggest fan of Lowe s. I guess marketing gets to me, and I ve been acclimated to liking big orange buildings or something. I dunno. But Lowe s is really close to my house, so I ve been there several times in recent years. Specifically to this location. You can see I gave it five stars. Here s why One thing that really stood out to me and I really appreciate is, the one time I had a manufacturing issue with something I bought; the thing was defective. I walked in with it and my receipt, explained the issue, no further questions, they told me I can go get a new one. I love the simplicity of that. More things in life should be as simple as Lowe s return and exchange policy.

Everytime I go to Lowes, Im never able to get help, usually take @ lest 20 minutes for someone to come and assist you, you ask for help, they pass you up, so you have to walk around hopefully, you can find some one. Need better customer service!
