Awesome water park when its not overcrowded. Water is clean unlike Summer Fun, plus its half the price. Members Night is great for Season Pass holders, but just wish it was twice per month instead of once and that the big water bucket didnt tip over in the baby pool because it scares little ones. Im glad exceptions are made for food allergies when doing bag checks. The only drawback is the lack of rule enforcement by the lifeguards. They need to be more confident when they blow their whistle and be more aware of who is using the toddler slide. They are well trained when it comes to incidents, but they need to blow their whistle louder and speak up when telling kids to walk so theyre not ignored. I noticed they have been better about not allowing roughhousing. On a separate occasion Ive also seen them say nothing when two older girls were using the toddler slide right in front of them, and again when they were not on that side, which caused a confrontation when I told those same girls it was for 2-5 only. They got mad and pushed my two-year-old to cut in line, so I told a lifeguard and he told their mom about the age limit. The mom was understanding, however, the kids lied and said I was blocking them from using the slide and being disrespectful to them. When she saw who told on her kids, she thought I was staring at her and got irate, and started threatening to hurt me. I was trying to explain to her what happened but she kept yelling and wouldnt listen to reason. The staff did a great job of standing between us so she wouldnt injure me, but afterwards I no longer felt safe being at the park. I hope in the future, staff do a better job of enforcing rules in order to prevent conflicts and keep the little ones safe. My son was having a great time on the slide until this happened, then all the kids started cutting in front of him because he got scared even when I tried to show him it was okay to hold your turn in line. It ruined the entire evening.

A lot has been added since I was a kid. I went here recently with a few friends of mine. We raced down their big slide and my leg unfortunately went behind me and I scrapped my foot. Went to the lifeguards and they acted very quickly. All were sweet and asked all the questions they needed to! All in all, if someone has an injury, dont hesitate to get help.

This place is not family friendly, especially if you have little children such as toddlers. They don t allow outside food or drinks, except for bottled water, which forces you to buy their food/drinks, which are overpriced. My suggestion is hide food in your bag and they are none the wiser. They also don t allow most flotation devices. They often are at maximum capacity leading to an extended wait time just to enter. They make you get out of the water at the 45 minute mark for 15 minutes until the end of the hour. So for every hour you re only in the water, 45 minutes. Every two hours, in the water 90 minutes, etc. It is a fun place, but often overcrowded.

We love going here, but it fills up fast. If you want a spot in the shade you have to get there before they open. We arrived an hour early and there was about 10 people in line already. This was on a Saturday during Summer break. I dont know about week days. You can bring in unopened plastic water bottles, no other food or drinks allowed in. You can go out to your vehicle to eat and come back in, just get a stamp on your hand before you exit.

Nice place for the kids to have fun in the sun. Not to mention, the price was reasonable $ 5 for the kids -[3-17]) and $7 for adults. Thats with temple resident admissions. Plus, they have life jackets for the Littles if you forget yours for only $3. Being able to bring your own waters in was a huge PLUS! mine must have gone through at least a dozen, and the melted ice kept our feet cool while standing on the hot summer floor.

My only suggestion would be to add a tube slide. Everything else is as expected. Park is maintained very well. Price is perfect! $8 for adults. ($7 if you live in Temple) I will say that the lazy river can get crowded sometimes, and I believe that the staff need to keep an eye out for traffic jams with the tubes, and people roughhousing, but thats the only issue I have. For those complaining about the breaks during the day, they are done so that the park staff can cool off in the water, given the heat lately. Usually, the breaks are done every 2 hours for 20 minutes, but that may change depending on how hot it is each day.

So fun! We went for a birthday party and had a blast. The line to get in was long but the birthday boys dad came to rescue us. The only other thing was, there wasn t a lot of seating. We were able to hangout under the canopy during the party which was nice. Definitely would have stayed longer if we found shade to sit in after. We will be back soon, both kids, 8 and 5 loved it. Perfect for a couple hour hangout. Very reasonable priced too!

So my review isn t on Lions Junction the park itself but on the park next to it. Me and my friend went and we went into the public restroom on the outside by the playground and out of curiosity we touched the glass and figured out taht that mirror is a two way mirror which made us panic because it s creepy. then we checked the back of the building and there is a door giving access to the bathroom as well as the vents going all the way through and you can see lights through them. Just for the safety of others going to the bathroom, it sparked panic in us. Be careful next time.

Hello people you dont need that many breaks a day and if you do maybe yall need to rotate people around. Such an inconvenience. There not even working hard . Their just standing around. Save all the breaks for hard working people who do hard labor.

Affordable and lots to do here for little ones. We arrived right at opening as it does get very crowded throughout the day. They have 2 splash pad areas, 2 big slides, lazy river, a pool that goes from 4-11 feet with diving board and 2 food areas. You cannot bring in any of your own food or drinks (coolers of water allowed). The food options are fairly priced and they offer pizza, hot dogs, nachos and frito pie. You can rent a locker for your things as well. Lots of lifeguards and shaded areas to sit.

I had my toddler with me and wasnt sure if I could bring his food in, we didnt and lets say he got hungry. I think the no snack thing is ridiculous, Im not feeding my toddler concession food and what happens if you have specific dietary needs? Other than that, fun park, good price.

If I could give zero stars I would. We got to the water park 30 minutes early and got in when they opened. Not even an hour of them opening they closed since there was lighting within 10 miles of us; they closed for 30 minutes. Maybe an hour later, the clouds were getting dark and it started raining, then hailing.. we had to leave again. We were told if the park is closed for actively 2 hours they would close and we can get a refund after the two hours. We drove an hour there and when I called 2 1/2 hours later, the park was still closed. I called today for my refund and was told since they reopened an hour before closing I can t get my refund. They were closed more than being in the park itself. We will never return and I ll be sure to let everyone know, word of mouth! Very disappointed in a water park that has good reviews.

Fun little water park. Great for little ones. However, the teen staff need to learn how to talk to the kids about the rules instead of screaming at them. Just observing, it seemed as though the lifeguards were on a power trip over 6-7 year olds.

First we were told we were informed that we would have to get rid of our outside food. We had a single jolly rancher candy. Then we were told that we couldnt bring in a float ring.(There was nothing on the prohibited items sign). Then, after an intense examination of my granddaughters float, we were told that we couldnt bring it in because it wasnt Coast Guard approved. When I questioned the assistant manager about this, I was told in a snarky voice, Its on our FAQs. When we went in the park, there were 3 other kids wearing the SAME floatation debice. Later, I checked the FAQs. There is NOTHING on the website about floatation devices .

Really nice, small sized water park. My 3 year old had a blast and didnt want to leave. Id give it 5 stars if they allowed personal coolers with snacks and drinks.

Affordable, fun, the food was ok. The food needs to be better and they ran out of food as well. Outside of that; the waterslide, diveboard, lazy river was fun.

Went with the family. We all had basketball shorts and they sent us back. There was so many people in there with basketball shorts. Not sure if it was a racist thing or not. Not fair

Its not a bad little park, I know that all of this outdoor water stuff is coming to a end soon. So was looking for a decent spot to let the kids hang for a few, and I just so happen to find it. So all and all not a bad place

The only reason I am giving the water park 4stars is because both times in a week that we visited this place. Ive been bitten by ants, 1 in back of head, and 3 around my left eye. I didnt felt the first bite after I got out of lazy river, but I did felt the 2nd time that I got bitten around my eye. We were at the lazy river when I felt my eye hurting, and stinging, then I grab to to see what was, and notice the ants, I looked around the lazy river, and notice some floating in the pool. So we got out and left. I would maybe visit this place again with my family, but if I do, then I am for sure gonna check if there is any ants in the water 1st. I havent visited this place in like 8 years, and loved it back then too. My family and I decided to check it out again. We always liked the costumer service, and water park because its great for my younger children.
