Tonight we went in to buy our new dog some toys and just so happened to pick up a bed by the register. Jakob, who is amazing and friendly, asked us what we know about their Vital Care program. Be very careful with herps- some of the juvenile beardies have classic atadenovirus (ADV) symptoms and are wasting/already dead in the tanks. Unfortunately, they are in with healthy juveniles which will almost certainly contract the virus. This is EXTREMELY contagious so do not handle these and then touch healthy herps. These little guys are still posted for sale so people many unknowingly find themselves in a lot of trouble with an ADV outbreak.

I spoke to an employee yesterday and was quoted a entry price of price of $24. After it was all said and done for a basic bath today they charged me $45. They asked for a tip, and I said I had to see the work that was done before I added a tip. They said it was policy not to show the dog until after the purchase was done. After all they said, didnt you just order the basic bath? It seemed that every interaction that I had with both ladies was negative. It seems common courtesy to me to show the customer the dog before a tip happens. I dont remember what the employees name was, but she had a nose ring. Very unfriendly customer service. Levi, the groomer - did an acceptable job, but not worth the price of $45 for a bath only.

After cancelling my appointment a head of time for grooming using the app, I was blocked from making appointments. I did not know why. I made a new account and made appointment for the bath and teeth cleaning. I asked the front desk if cancelling caused me to be blocked. The lady said no canceling isn t a big deal it s when you no show. She then said she doesn t know why I was blocked. Another lady came out of the back and made no eye contact, she then looked at molly and said that s not a small dog to the other lady still not making eye contact with me. Molly is 10 pounds I told her. On the app it says X-Small is 1-10 pounds. She then says we go by the size of the dog I didn t argue with her. I dropped Molly off at 9:58 and I was t they would call. I figured it would be quick so I came back at 10:15 to buy something in store. I saw the lady that was supposed to be washing Molly eating chips near grooming station. This was about 10:30. I called at 10:38 to get a time when Molly would be done. Misti says she is drying and will call when she is done. It s now 1130 and I haven t gotten a call back. If she was drying at 1030 she should be done by now. I finally called at 11:58 and asked if she was done. Misti said she was done awhile ago & they called me but the phone rang and then made a click noise. I never had a missed call. Mollys skin is very red after picking her up. She has dry skin flaking. Maybe they used high heat to dry her. Using my phone to type this so excuse the grammar.

For grooming I would not recommend. This was my second time comming and they did my poor baby wrong. I believe the groomer for this appointment was Chelsea. Not to mention her and this other coworkers (didn t. Get a chance to get her name) were rude before I even checked my baby in. It felt as if they didn t not want my business. She sorta yelled at me in front of other people who were dropping off their dogs.and it was embarrassing. And the only reason I came back a second time was bc of all the availability. I can see why now. I will never get my dog groomed there again. I should ve listened when everyone said to go to PetSmart. But for the store , I have to say there was a gentlemen there named damion ( forgive me if I spelled wrong) was super. He was so kind and attentive and is the only reason why I would go back to buy from Petco. Hes amazing.

Damion was so patient and polite. He assisted the children in holding the animals, and knew which animals were too irritated to hold. It was very obvious that he loved his job and cared equally for the animals and humans. He made our visit most enjoyable. They had the food I was after but I was shocked by how expensive. All good dog food seems to cost as much as my wife and I spend a month on our own food and complain how much food costs. So, imagine a disabled person who has a service dog (Boxer) with horrible allergies and is on a fixed income and have to cut back on my meds to save money so my dog doesnt suffer. This is what happens when corporations govern our country. Update: I was way to nice on my 1st review. Went back 10 days later to buy more canned Food @ over $5 a can and their shelves were out, asked if they could check in the back since we just got our dogs switched over. They said it was too hard to get too. I said Id wait. Then they were out because it was too hard to get too.

They had what we needed. Thats what matters. (1) They have a cat litter refill station. Saves us and the environment to reuse/refill our container. (2) Needed worms for my dragon. Most of the horn worms were dead. Found 1 out of 5 with alive worms. The customer service wasnt the best. The cashier was very focused on having a continued conversation with the person ahead instead of each customer afterwards. Felt weird. Unwelcoming for us. On the other hand, probably felt very welcoming for the previous customer.

Went here to get a few treats for my puppies. Got what I need but there is no one working so you cant ask for assistance with anything. Went to check out and they now charge for the plastic bags. This petco was terrible. The fish area is unkept and pallets of dog food block the beta section. Also The betas looked unhealthy. There were five tanks that had at least one dead fish. This is animal cruelty at its finest. I was going to buy some medicine but after looking around I realized that this place needs to be shut down and charges of animal abuse need to be placed on this establishment.

Very disappointed. I used to go here for my aquarium needs and new fish regularly. But today I had to go to the front to get help, and then she immediately started questioning tank sizes, what fish were going where, as if I dont know what im doing. Sure they are trained to ask questions but like just sell me the fish, I know what Im doing. I asked about some fish that I didnt see a label for to which her response was I guess were keeping those ??? THEN is SO LAZY that she didnt write down the code for the fish, she took a picture with her phone of the code and took her phone to the cashier to charge us out. Not to mention did not properly seal the bag so the air came out immediately so will probably die anyways. The tanks were also dirtier than usual. Big disappoint, wont go back anymore.

Took in my dog Luna; Husky mix, who needed to be washed, nails trimmed and the remaining winter coat removed. The staff was amazing! Luna seemed much happier after her grooming and a very nice lady even came out of the grooming area into the store to help me fit a better harness for Luna. The groomer was very professional, kind and friendly. I will be bringing Luna back again the next time she needs anything. Highly recommend!

Its where the pets go We went for the Vetco shot clinic. The customer service was professional, quick, and courteous. They were gentle with our cat, and treated him with love. You set up your appointments online (make sure the phone number & address match with your account because thats how they text message you to come inside Petco for your scheduled appt.) This place ALWAYS makes us feel like family and the staff always makes us feel like they truly care. Never make us feel like they are trying to up sale or market us to buy. I make frequent stops here about once a month for my dog.This is her Go Bye Bye place. She loves it. I need to get a video of her one day as she gets so excited and vocal as she is walking around the store sniffing and checking everything out. The employees there are very nice. They love my dog and are ready to help you if you need it. I havent had need of much for my shopping has been pretty simple. Stock has been pretty good, all be it for the economy and distribution issues the year has had. They have a variety of good brands and healthy foods and snacks to choose from at reasonable prices. I even pick up treats for my cat while Im there. Here are some pics of the outfits I recently bought for my dog last trip. She was not real excited to model them. Each were about $15 The cashier was very nice while cashing out and we chit chatted through the exchange.
