At first the receptionist couldn t find the VA pharmacy in her system, however she said it was listed under a different name. No big deal at all the medical staff were professional and they answered my questions about the medication I wanted to be put on and it was much quicker and easier than what the VA demanded that I be told I must do. I was in and out within 20 minutes, rather than 3 hours plus at the VA. I would rather pay out pocket for me to get the care I needed without all the hassle of having to deal with the VA entirely. They do not know how to run insurance, less than a dollar of my yearly physical was paid by insurance. They had zero interest in getting a proper prescription for my CPAP. The Dr. will refuse to tell you anything without multiple follow-ups so they can bill you more money. Stay away.

Just had the best doctors appointment Ive ever had. Im so used to being brushed off or the doctor coming in with little to no interest at all figuring anything out with you. With recommended medication and get you out as soon as possible. At least that has been my experience up until now! Unprofessional and bad attitude front desk staff, will go elsewhere, 2 appointments notified them twice I d pay on my own without using my insurance, then after arriving and asking questions about options on at home vs in clinic, told I need to see the provider again and set up another appointment to discuss at home injections, seems asking for clarification is a nuisance to front desk staff, don t waste your time and money at this place, it s a scam and just plain unprofessional for a healthcare facility.

Worst experience. Total Scam. They charged me bill and also send bill from the lab. Not responding to my messages and emails. got called again after reaching home saying the blood drawn needs more. I had asked to do only Annual Physical where they did test additional without permission and was told everything is covered in Insurance. But now I am getting bills to be paid. Trash!!! had an initial appointment and was told that my insurance would not cover at home injections. Keep in mind that my insurance was good enough for them to take for the appointment. Was told I would have to pay cash for medications. Since nothing was done in my 5 minute interaction with staff, I asked if I could be refunded. Front dest staff (Some rude and disrespectful lady) told me to get bent. When asked to speak with management the front dest lady refused to let me speak with someone above her). Awful and dont recommend. STAY AWAY!!! Hope someone who oversees Temple location reads this. * Doc was nice and had no issue.

horrible experience at temple location in June. My regular Dr was not available for 3 months all I needed was a RX refill which I clearly stated on the online form. They called me to verify info and reason for visit which I reconfirmed. I arrive to the office only for them to have a physicians asst not a DR who can fill my Rx. They offer to charge me for another appt so I can see the correct DR.. I refuse and state I had already requested this on the initial request, why schedule me with someone who cannot fulfil the request. I was told by the front office lady who was VERY unprofessional that I had not requested an Rx refill. After arguing with her and being asked to step in a side room to speak with the phys. asst I was told by him, yes he could see the request in my chart it was an error. This was also confirmed by Mgmt after calling them and complaining to which they refunded my visit. Now I get a bill since they sent it to my INS for payment after my refund. This is being escalated legally. Avoid

I m mid 50 ish. First time visit was really good (1-day ago). The reception staff was courteous and helpful. The medical assistant walked me through intake. Basic questions, low stress. The doctor looked through my historical records I brought with me. He asked me some questions and he listened. That it itself was an exciting change based on what I was dealing with at the VA. My first experience was very good. There are plenty of female focused healthcare facilities and I like the idea of a men s healthcare facility. They are working with me on insurance concerns I have regarding actual treatment. Lord know we can all use a hand dealing with insurance companies. I just appreciate the help. If you re looking for a provider then you should give them a try.

I tried Total Mens mainly because they accepted my insurance. There were some good points and some bad points. The good: 1) I was able to have my pick of appointments. 2) The doctor was incredibly responsive to my follow-up questions via the portal. Seriously, like within 30 minutes, and because of some items Ill mention below, I messaged her a LOT. 3) Snacks and a welcoming waiting room. 4) Appointment was completed in a reasonable amount of time without long waits either in the waiting room or in the exam room. 5) Able to pay remaining balances via the portal. 6) Access to medical information via the portal. 7) She identified an issue that had gone untreated. The not so good: 1) Although they are a mens clinic, there are certain aspects of mens health where they wont accept insurance and force you to pay a cash price. 2) They want you to pay an office visit when you receive labs for the initial doctor visit and again to discuss said labs. This makes for an expensive trip to the doctor. 3) On a follow-up conversation with the doctor, she stated her notes reflected a conversation we did NOT have regarding their inability to prescribe certain mens health medications unless you pay cash for the appointment. This is apparently a company policy. 4) I assumed I was seeing a doctor, but she is an LPN, which is fine for most things. 5) Their record keeping is not very good. I met in person for visit # one and then had a telehealth visit to discuss labs. It took some digging for them to find the telehealth visit and to confirm I had paid for it. Also, I spent two weeks chasing a prescription only to find my insurance had sent the doctor a rejection notice. In the 3-4 conversations we had about the prescription during this time, it was not mentioned. In the end, I ended up changing prescriptions, but it took almost a month to reach that point. Some delay with the doctor, some with the pharmacy and some with insurance.

One of the worst clinics I ve experienced , I made an appointment for my husband and the day of they wanted to send in some Labs became of his symptoms so they take blood blah blah and they tell him that they were going to post his results within 24-48 hours on his chart .48 hrs pass and no results so we call and two different desk girls told us theyd re-send the results , but never did . Called a 3rd time and asked again about results and this time the front desk lady said he was abnormal for one of the tests, which by the way , she violated hippa because i later found out my husband hadn t even added me to his chart yet to view his medical records , and second she wasn t even supposed to read anything to me over the phone (very unprofessional) so then once again I ask if we can see the physical lab results and this time she says we would have to come back For the dr to discuss with my husband, so we do come back a few days later( at this point we have paid copay TWICE in one week) so he goes and the dr tells us that she doesn t send out results bc she wants to get people back in the door ( for money ofc ) turns out the second call we get they tell us his results were all normal and the first abnormality was a lab error lol. So I call to complain and ask for a refund because we got a whole lot Of nothing and just wasted money for a sketchy office and paid for THEIR error , not to mention the whole experience was a back and forth & could never get a straight answer on ANYTHING . I was told we d be getting a call back from a manager, never did . Go to the local Baylor scott and whitw clinic if you want professional service .

My initial visit was awesome. I was totally stressed out for the visit. I moved from IL to Texas and needed to find a provider for continuous care needs. Thought it was going to be difficult. It turned out to be a great experience. Even made some adjustments to some meds I was currently taking. Those got called in right away. Then we added a medication for covid related lung problems Ive been dealing with since I had covid in 2021. Ive been worried about utilizing the medication, but the Dr. Put my worries to ease. Wasted about 45 minutes here. I came for an annual check up after moving to the area, then about halfway through my appointment I realized that nobody had asked me what my insurance was or to look at it. I brought that up to one of the nurses and then we proceeded with our appointment. They ended up running my insurance and right before I would get my labs drawn the doctor came in and said to me sorry we don t accept your insurance, you could still pay out-of-pocket if you d like in which my response was no and then she followed up with okay well what we re gonna do here is pretend like this never happened and you ll have to find another clinic, we re sorry. Clearly a lapse in operational professionalism but the staff was very nice if that s your thing.

So I am 41 year old with no major medical issues though I know high cholesterol runs in my family. Never really had a primary care provider. At my last appointment, the physician didn t even bother to follow up to discuss bloodwork though again cholesterol was elevated. I saw Dr. Stojanowski in March (Temple, Tx) and let her know my concerns. She was awesome! She addressed all of my concerns and spent about half an hour discussing bloodwork and treatment plan after we got results back. Care and compassion is something that is absolutely critical in a provider and can t be faked. I m thrilled to have found a provider esp. now that I m a middle-aged guy.

This place is great! There was no waiting and they were very professional. Plenty of time was taken to address all my issues and question were answered clearly and un rushed. I went in for a rapid covid test. They made it quick and easy for me. This was my first time here. They have an option for new patients to register online, so once I got there, I just had to give them my name. The whole visit was less than 30 minutes. I got my test results in less than 30 minutes as well. Even though they were busy, I was able to get everything done within an hour. I will most definitely go here again.

I needed to get a covid test to follow my company policy. A coworker reccomended Total Mens to me. I was able to schedule a same day appointment easily on my phone. The check in process was easy. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. My test results were texted to me in about 30 minutes. I would definitely use them again.

We all know the routine right? You wait in line to check in, fill out a bunch of forms, back in line again, go sit down, wait, their late, they take you to a room, and you wait some more. It s dumb, and yet normal. Not at the Total Mens Clinic. I was in and out. Filled out a short form on my phone and we were ready to go. The care professional was waiting on me. The experience was so good i can t wait to go back for additional services. It s simple you can be a part of the meat grind where the doctor is your customer or you can go to Total Mens and feel valued.
