Came her at 4am ordered two glazed donuts and some other things the glazed donuts the gave me one fresh and and one that was old. Thinking I wouldnt be able to tell the difference considering one was fluffy and hot and the other was flat and stiff.

This is the worst Shipley doughnut shop Ive been to. The worst thing is that its brand new to the city of Baytown. Id rather drive the extra mileage to Houston to get better food and service. The food quality and taste at 5 AM SHOULD NOT BE COLD AND OLD ON 5 AM FOOD as you are just opening the doors. The coffee I had to wait 15 minutes to receive the NASTIEST, BURNT, OLD YEAR FLAVORED COFFEE Ive ever tasted. The owners of this franchise should be ashamed. Id rather go to the corner store and get coffee. At least, it will be fresh. This was my second time trying this Shipley doughnut shop. There will not be a 3rd as this one has struck out. Believe me, its not worth my time or anyone elses if changes arent made soon. Train your employees or get new ones that care about food and service.

Kid-friendliness: Drive through staff has been rude for like 6 months but except mamager, but the rest of the people working drive thru are super weird and just not attentive... They will get icing all over bag and hardly on the donut. Food comes cold. Even you request warming. Never wrapped in tinfoil to get warm or keep warm. Barely any napkins. Staff ( other than owner ) seem irritated that anyone pulled up. This establishment used to have better employees. Havent seen a good one or one that doesnt hive you that crazy side eye at 2am in the morning... Like is that powder from a donut or... crazy side eye. Ya feel me? When owner is working the window all food is presented well and is always hot and tasty. never have to ask for napkins. No icing is smeared on all sides of the bag. That said... even with all that. This Shipleys is the best in the area. So.. take that as you will. I keep hoping the owner will hire one good window staff and maybe put the others washing the curb or windows or bathrooms or something where they arent bothered by customers so much. All in all... will still order here. Sad the emplyee base has slacked so badly.

Theres a girl named Demetria that works the drive-through window. This lady has no idea what shes doing. I understand some people may be New but they shouldnt be running a store overnight by themselves if they have no idea what theyre doing. This store is known for giving you a bold Kolache when you asked for a regular. To begin with, you shouldnt have to specify regular kolache that should be a standard and a people want bold they will say bold. This is happened multiple times where theyve given me a bold kolache when I ask for a regular. Then I go to Wick at my receipt and I get charged for donut holes ??? What in the world is going on? Just to confirm, I have the correct person this happened on1/7 @ 330 am.

Around 2:55pm -3:00pm today January 5th I witnessed a tall guy sticking a utensil in a mixing bowl and tasting it and stuck it back in the bowl after taking it out of his mouth. I drove off! Customers dont know where his mouth has been. Gross!!

Customer service there are horrible in the Drive-Thru. I never have been inside I always go through the drive-thru this has been several times now and I would not go back to that particular Shipleys again. It seems like every time I go the customer service is rude they dont never have fresh hot donuts and never have any napkins and if they do you always have to ask for them instead of them just putting it in your bag. Todays service was the worst the donuts was not fresh so my daughter asked for them to warm them up The Kolache was also not hot either. We asked to warm the donuts up they took a long time to come back to the window and when they did they still was not warm. She had an attitude because I asked her to warm them up. This is at 7:45 in the a.m. they should already have fresh hot donuts.

I went in at 9:30 this morning and asked for 3 ham and cheese kolaches they were out so then I asked for sausage kolaches they were out he finally said we only have bold spicy kolaches the elders I was buying the kolaches for can t eat those. How are they completely out of kolaches at 9:30 am? The music outside is soooo loud. And once when my mother and I dined in on a Sunday we had to watch a young couple behind the counter kissing and pawing at each other. There s a place for that and it is NOT your work place. We are finally going to the old store across from the hospital.

I did an early morning order and they decided to substitute anything they did not have prepared with jelly filled doughnuts. We do not like those and did not have time to return to the store. They could have asked the paying customer what we would like instead. The customer service was also lacking. They kept trying to give me someone elses order after I continued to tell them that was not my name.

I have no idea why this location is 24hr. There isnt enough demand for fresh donuts overnight here and the location is seriously horrible. Its boxed in so the only way to turn into it is from the freeway or a hidden alleyway. The developers boned this property hard in that respect and any owner hasnt tried to rectify the issue. Anyway, I got 12 donut holes for 3 dollars (jssus chrst...) And they were so stale and nasty I could barely eat a few before I gave up. When I went in the shelves were bare, maybe 1/5 the full selection and judges by my donut holes it was all probably stale too. Wretched. My experience at this location has made me love donuts less on the whole, so this place has literally made my life worse. I dont recommend this donut store.

I love Shipley, but I will never return to the on at I-10 service road at I-10 Baytown, TX, at the drive thru, repeated 3 to 4 times, and couldnt get it correct. Ordered 6 Kolaches, not all the best I. The world and especially the Ham & and so-called cheese, they were burnt awful. Also, I ordered 4 chocolate covered with nuts donuts.....horrible!!! Over cooked not much icing but nuts fairly purported. Alot of money for poor service and pitiful food. I gave it 2 stars just because I like Shipleys!!!

My husband went and bought kolaches at Shipley s and while I was eating I bit into the sausage and found something hard. So I was thinking it was grissle. Not grissle it was a black wire and not just one piece it was multiple pieces. Please be careful when eating this. We brought the remaining and the other portions of the kolache back as proof. So they have knowledge of this. They kindly refunded our money and gave complimentary donuts we didn t care for anymore kolaches.

This is the closest Shipley s to me however every time my son and I come it s always something going on. The staff seems unhappy as if they re just there going through the motions (slow motion!) We always order Kolache s one visit they charged for bold kolache s and I ordered regular sized. They apologized but couldn t give me a valid reason why they tried charging me more than what i should ve. We went there yesterday the drive thru had a long line so I decided to go in, there was one lady a head of me.(a total of two customers) No one greeted me and it took about 10mins just get our kolaches. Suggestion: have more people on the register. Any who over all this place was better when the tall white guy was there when they first opened everything was on point. The other Shipley s down Garth by the hospital is a good example of how this location should be, and they don t even have a drive thru. Please get it together with such a prime location customer service & check out time should be better.

To the Owner: you have hired some awesome people. The employees are SO friendly, so polite, and very nice. They were patient with me, as I picked out the individual doughnuts that I wanted. Very clean employees too. The business is clean on the inside as well as the outside. The doughnuts are a nice size. They place each of them flat, so they are not smooshed into a box. And all the flavors do not get on the ones next to them. Doughnuts are fresh, no Matt when you visit this location. Ive gone early in the morning and late in the day. The restrooms are clean as well. Price is reasonable. But understand that all ingredients have gone up in price. So dont be shocked when you order. Theyve also listed the price per doughnut to help you too. Great job. the drive thru service was extremly slow if you have a drive thru service that is because you are trying to streamline the prosses but it is not working ,and the person taking orders is one at a time not effective -made my order when i got to the front the lady did not have my order or knew what i had ordered , and then the cherry on the top the employee that was handling my food put on gloves but then went on to scratch his chin/ beard and proceeded to pack my food , i will never comeback to this location and i will be calling the health dep to make sure they look in to it .
