Excellent, the room was clean. Breakfast was OK, very sparse. Easy check-in and check-out. Coffee pot, hair dryer,ironing board and iron, refrigerator, and microwave. AC worked well and was quiet. No off smells. Its just a good place to stop over. I would use this facility again. Rooms: Good size room. Seamed small beds for queen but clean. Safety: Felt very safe. Low noise level.

This is my go-to when I am in the area. The staff is professional, personable, and the rooms have always been clean and comfortable. They have recently renovated a lot of the rooms. Also, I require reliable internet connectivity due to working late/early; however, my most recent trip where I was there for two days they could not provide ANY internet connectivity. I had to tether to my phone...not good. I even responded to the text they sent asking if I needed anything...no responses.

We stayed here a month equalling about a month and around two thousand dollars. The breakfast is rough.. the beans . AT BREAKFAST are pretty terrible and change daily according to who is making them. The gravy and eggs taste like the swampy water that you can also enjoy in your room. I d suggest a nose plug in the shower because for some reason the water smells and tastes like swamp / dirty dish water. If you like thin runny waffle mix though you re in luck! Make sure also that you get there before nine even though it ends at ten because if not the hotel staff will be sitting in the breakfast room staring you down as you make your plate assuming they take the leftovers idk? I was in the service industry for many years and not one place I ever worked did we allow the staff to sit and stare at guests while they ate. Also the free Wi-Fi kicks you off every thirty minutes or so. We are here for work and when going to pay for another week.. they said oh y all need to leave we have been told you were smoking in your room. Absolutely a lie and what s even better is all around the sink and throughout the room are cigarette burn marks. Behind our bed looked like it had never been cleaned. The maids who never had to clean our room are extremely rude if you ask them for anything! And all I asked for were towels .. some how they never had any clean. They refused to give us our $200 deposit back saying we hoarded the dirty dish breakfast doubtful!! Also we left the room cleaner than we found it! Then as we are swiftly packing our things they inform us we have 15 mins, thirty minutes after they wouldn t accept our payment! Treating us like we had done something wrong. We were happy to leave and we re not trying to stay. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS PLACE!! The owner is rude and foreign acts like he can t stand Americans. Sure will take your money though.

It was great period. The pool was awesome. Very clean. The restaurant right there was it was excellent and then they had a gas station that was right next door too with ice anything that you needed so you didnt even have to get in your car and drive to lose your parking spot to go eat or to get lottery tickets soda water ice whatever you needed it was all right there Id come again absolutely. Rooms: The room that we had was very clean no dust hardly at all I mean there was dust on top of the mirror but who cares thats in every hotel Ive ever find even a Paris Hilton hotel theres a dust on top of the mirror but other than that the room was very clean very organized smelled very good non-smoking. Nearby activities: Had an awesome pool very clean nice water it was just beautiful and the temperature was just right and if you needed to go anywhere they had nearby activities that were less than probably 10 miles 15 miles away you didnt have to go that far shopping was so convenient it was I mean if you hit a store there was like a hundred of them there wasnt like just one so they made it very convenient so you dont have to go here here here here everything is located in one generalized area. Safety: Felt very safe very safe it was very quiet. Walkability: You could walk right there to the restaurant like I said before and the gas station was right there it was just convenient. Food and drinks: Ice machine was working order they had sodas and all that in a vending machine for every hotel weve ever been to but they had this Mexican restaurant that was right next to the hotel and they had the most awesome food reasonable prices and huge huge drinks. Do not recommend this hotel. Never made it to a room because the outside was so dirty and it felt very unsafe. Staff was nice but of course they couldn t do refunds and the third party they used for reservations was almost impossible to reach and once I did they promised to do refund and call me back with confirmation but never did either of those things. Very bad experience for someone who was there for medical procedure at S&W.

For a Super 8, no complaints! Clean room, nice amenities, actually Dove soap (unlike the last one that had old stinky soap). It was quiet and the people working there were great. I didnt see the best reviews for this hotel, but I needed to stay somewhere for a great price, and Im thankful I did stay here because everything was close to everything I needed to get to. We booked a handicap room and were pleased to find a roll in shower. The lady at the reception desk was very nice. The refrigerator in the room was larger than most and very cold. The only issue was the parking. The spots in front of the accessible room are on a big incline which make transfers to and from a wheelchair dangerous.

I stayed there with my family this weekend for the Cowboys vs Jets game. I really didn t interact with anyone else other than Theresa the night desk employee. She was extremely professional, sweet, attentive and just overall so nice to us. Accommodated my family and me. We checked out the following morning with a sweet complimentary breakfast. Dad and my son had themselves a Texas sized waffle made fresh right there. Mom had boiled eggs and toast, and I had a yogurt. We had coffee & OJ. Morning shift females were nice and greeted us when we went in to eat and check out. Went to the game in Arlington and decided to drive back to Temple afterwards. Thankfully Theresa was able to fit us in. Rooms were clean. AC, restroom, tv, microwave all worked. Rooms were equipped with all of the above and coffee machines, blow dryer, iron and small fridge. Luckily for me Harry Potter was on lol so I m not complaining. Didn t need the pool and didn t really pay attention to it. Small Laundromat and small gym. The most convenient thing was the little Mexican restaurant next door which I didn t get the name. I think the only thing that freaked me out were all the crickets but dad said they re good luck so I just left them alone. I would recommend this place. Thanks to Theresa, we had a nice stay.

Looking at past reviews, I was hesitant to book here. However, the hotel and service are excellent. Trina at the front desk was extremely nice and courteous. Check-in was a breeze. Rooms were clean, and the bed was so comfortable. The water was just how I love it hot with the right amount of pressure. Truck parking and breakfast are available. Will definitely book again.

Not the worst place Ive stayed but it had a couple major issues for me. The bathtub faucet literally fell off in my hand first time trying to use. Called front desk said maintenance would be in at 9 am. Ok. Was gone next day all day came back still broke. Anyway it got fixed next day when we were about to leave. If it is summer do yourself a favor and ask for a room away from the pool because grown act like children right up until 10 when the pool closes I swear screaming marco pool at the top of their lungs. Alcohol & water so much fun for all. Lest we forget the herd of elephants that was upstairs, oops. If Naked and afraid taught us anything at all its that at least elephants are quiet!!!! Please remember if you are upstairs your floor is someones ceiling!!! I swear humans have forgotten how to have common courtesy!!!

I have stayed at Super 8 several time. The hotel is not fancy, the staff is super!!!! I had to go to Temple last minute on 12 May to set up hospice for my Dad. I made my reservations on Traveluro, they had the best last minute price. I checked out a day early, 16 May instead of 17 May because I had to fly home and take my mom to her cancer appointment on the 18th of May. I checked with Trina before I decided to change my flight to make sure I would receive a refund for the one night. Trina was very help full and told me the steps I need to take to get my refund. I flew home, contacted Traveluro and they told me what they needed to complete my refund. All Traveluro needed to be completed for my refund was an email from Super 8 confirming I did check out a day early. I called Super 8, spoke with the manager Areem told him what needed to be done and forwarded the email from Traveluro to him. I called and confirmed Areem received the email, he did. That was on 17 May 2023. Since 17 May I have called Areem several times, Areem has lied to me everytime, telling me that he sent an email to Traveluro and that he would send me that email..... as of the time of this review Areem has NOT emailed Traveluro, I confirmed this with Traveluro and after several request Areem has NOT forwarded his email to Traveluro to me. It is sad that Areem feels the need to STEAL from a returning customer! I wonder how many other people Areem has STOLD from! I would be arrested and prosecuted if I sold from Areem... where is the justice in this? Steal from a woman who is going through the worst time of her life... setting up hospice for a parent is horrific!

The NICEST workers in the office. Of course this isnt a fancy hotel but it was clean and nice . The ac was worked great and the pool and pool area were spotless. Breakfast was offered and it was the regular waffles, fruit, yogurt etc. Was very clean by the breakfast area . You cant beat the front desk ladies. They are the nicest....... great customer service and the room was very clean. The parking lot, sidewalks all clean . Will be staying there again and again ! Thank you ladies for being so nice ! On 2/17/2023 I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. After paying we checked the rooms and 1 room was dirty...unmade beds, dirty towels and the other was missing appliances. We asked to be given new rooms. The staff sent 2 new rooms and 1 also was dirty the other seem to have someone in it with food on a table and the TV on. The hotel was full and they had no more rooms. We asked for a refund and was told to leave our information as a manager would be there the next day. The next morning I called and was told that when he came in later he would be called. I waited and called again. The staff told me he had been there but now would not be back as he was in Dallas and they had no way of contacting him. Update: The manager ( she) was available on Monday and was very nice over the phone. She heard me out and said a refund would be issued. I will not try to stay there in the future, but cant complain about the customer service from the manager and a staff member that was super nice despite the overbooking and unclean rooms.

This place is disgusting, at best. The bed linens were visibly stained, ripped and tattered. There was one very thin blanket and no extra blankets available. The walls are paper thin and the property manager allows people to blare their music in the parking lot late at night. The towels had hairballs with someone elses hair in them. The bathroom door was splattered with either blood or wine from a previous guest. The vents and light fixtures were clogged with dust. The worst part was the roaches. Roaches. Everywhere. In the night stand, in the drawers, on the counter, in the bathtub. One crawled into my morning coffee. The place was filthy and overpriced. The food at the breakfast tasted rotten and was unsanitary. Just gross.

Do not stay here! I was driving home after visiting family and booked a reservation through Expedia.The receptionist was cleaning when I showed up and told me they were completely booked and they were unable to accommodate me (she clearly didn t want to be bothered). I explained I had booked my reservation through Expedia and she stated I would have to call to get a refund. After I had left and called Expedia for a refund they said they would need to call the hotel to confirm they were completely booked. They called me back 5 minutes later and stated the hotel could accommodate me after all. I demanded I get a refund as I had already driven away and decided I would just continue the long trek home.

I waited about 30 to 45 minutes while the woman did what needed to be done to make sure I still got a room since I had already paid. She gave me a key to a different room but told me if the curtains were not open that meant the room was occupied and to return to her for a key to another room. I had to do exactly that. After about 1 1/2 hours I finally got a room. It was not the womans fault but she did everything she could to make sure I got a room even though the room I bought was supposed to be a smoking room with a king bed and not the non smoking room with a queen bed I ended up with. Also the ice machine near my room looked like it hasnt been in working order for a while. The room however was nice and worth the $75 to $80 I paid for it. Management has some work to do. Only got 3 stars for service because of the lady.

The room had bedbugs the house keeping just walks in without knocking there are rats the lady in the front is very rude. I let her know my daughter my husband and myself were all bitten up and had pictures and videos of the bedbugs her response was you should have let us know right away so we could move you rooms. When In fact we got woken up to getting bit that is why we went to let them know. She didn t say anything else other than we should have let them know and at that it was the handicap room. That was the worst place I have ever stayed in im so upset my baby girl is all bitten up her hand and fingers are all swollen my husband has welts all on his back his arms and legs this is ridiculous. They were so nice when I went to visit. The rooms were so clean but the only problem I had was the bathroom was so small the door almost touches the toilet but over all it is a nice place to swim and sleep.

I think the Ice machine was broken for a long time! There are two buildings here and both are away from the main office. For breakfast, youll have to walk up to the office. There is no parking space in front of the office, other than a little canopy for checking in. Room was very clean but dont ask for a hotel experience. Front desk staff is very abrupt and upfront. For breakfast, expect waffles as hot food and the rest is cold food on a 15×3 bar. You can sit and eat though. There were too many folks in the courtyard hanging out. Be careful and park at your own risk. I even saw one guest roll out an office chair from the room into the crowd to chill out with his friends on a Friday evening

The bed room was half clean hair all over the bathroom. Needed to use the pull out bed from the love seat and the cover for it was dirty. Asked for extra sheets for the pull out bed was told to wait till 10 pm went and asked after 10 pm about the sheets and pillows was told she would bring them she finally brought them almost 11 pm and all she brought was a pillow and alot of pillow cases no sheets . Room smells repairs that were made were not done well wouldnt stay here again .

This place is a little hard to find because, as you can tell from my photos, there have has wind damage to there sign so its missing. If youre coming form the south just exit 287, go past the light at Midway Dr. and its immediately on your right. If youre coming from the north then you need to exit onto S General Bruce Dr. When you get to the first light, which is Midway Dr. Turn left and go under IH 35 then turn left onto the access rd. and then almost Immediately turn right into Super 8. If youre brave and take the Texas Turn Around, go immediately to the far right and quickly turn right into the place. I was there for a 2 day VA appointment. The VA hospital is only about 8 minutes away. The people working there were super friendly. The room was really clean, no odors and the bed was comfortable. I was in room 128 which is all the way back by the pool and gym. My pictures of the pool dont show it in the best light. In there defense, there was a 25 to 30 MPH wind all day and it wasnt really pool weather so I can see why they werent in a big hurry to clean it. I will stay here again

I stayed in three places while in Temple and this place was the best option. The noise from the road was louder than I would like but the room was clean, cool, and the staff were friendly. Normally I wouldnt care if the staff was friendly but the Travelodge just down the street tried to steal from me and falsely claimed I kicked something after complaining about a non- working toilet. The Motel 6 looked nice but the maid apparently quit in some dramatic fashion. When I entered my room, the maids equipment was still in the room. Both nights I ended up back at the Super 8 because it was the only sane place less than $100.

Clean and well stocked with lots of clean towels. Breakfast was bagels, cinnamon rolls and yogurt, could make a waffle if you want. It was peaceful outside even though the parking lot was full. I guess workers were staying, they were all gone by 8:30am when we got out and about.

The bed felt a little moist when we arrived, but it was okay when laying on it for a bit, other then that it was super clean! No bugs! What I loved the most is the shower pressure, it felt so nice after a long day on the road! Though the towels had a lot of little stains but i will let it pass.
