Broooo, we came here from out of town with family for a funeral and rented 4 separate rooms. Ive stayed in rooms with bugs and were just overall not up to par. This was by far the WORST hotel weve ever stayed in. All 4 rooms were INFESTED with roaches. From big to small roaches and everything in between. The floors were sticky and the bathrooms were dirty/not working. I felt like I had to shower immediately when getting home because you were not gonna get clean in that room lol. Overall, it made an already painful/bad day into an even worse one.

So many issues with this hotel Roaches in every corner alive and dead!!! Foot prints on the walls. Blood on the walls mold on the walls. Broken fixtures. A non smoking room smells likes cigarettes heavily!!!! The receptionist was friendly and polite and didn t make a fuss when we voiced out concerns. Only stayed one night cuz we couldn t do a second. Rooms: Yucky!!! Mold, roaches, blood, shoe prints!

Hotel is filled with mousetraps and roaches don t book, roaches could easily crawl in your ear, nose, or your mouth while sleeping. It needs to be shut down and reopened for safety purposes, It s ridiculous that there are so many reviews that talk about how the rooms are roach infested and they have yet to fix the problem. Room was filled with roaches coming from under and around the door, under the ac unit, From behind the shower tiles. Seems like every corner of the room that had a opening for bugs to get in. Shower head sucks, no room phone to call front desk or alarm clock. Front door isnt closed all the way even when closed and locked has gaps to let bugs in.

I might regret this because every good review I give I end up not being able to afford the place after the business goes skyrocketing. 2 weeks ago I broke my hip and had to go back to the horrible Scott and White that I truly loved the nurses but I hate the care in ER. I had to have a safe place to go on ground floor and I need Red roof had New Management. So I called and asked if I could get an early checkn because I was getting out of the hospital. You see no matter what I love Red roof Ive been a Red roof customer for years and Ive actually lived at Red roofs for months at a time because they are so animal friendly and they are usually some of the most amazing people you can ever meet that work there because these are people that have to deal with animals on a day-to-day basis and not get upset about it and so theyre the type of people I love. And when I worked at this location and when I worked at this location I love the people I just did not love the new manager. But anyway back to this visit both managers actually checked me in together. They helped me in every process and this was very early in the day. Then the wife walk to me to my room and helped me with my bags which I could never have done on a walker. The husband later on stop my by my room and checked on me. The room was clean and quiet everything worked and the only thing I can say negative is that is that I only had one towel oh and dont believe all of the ads that the advertisers are doing there is no working pool it looks like its still got the pump down. And that is a major people need to know because some people do come to have a summer fun swim time but thank you for improving so much

The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Everyone who works here is super nice and accommodating. Porsha is the General Manager and not only is she warm and friendly, she is also super helpful. You can really tell that she works hard to provide an exceptional stay for the guests here. The location is also awesome. Its super close to an HEB, Walmart, a small shopping mall, and great restaurants.

Don t do it!!! I took a chance on this inexpensive place and it was a nightmare. While the room appeared clean, it was infested with roaches. The staff I dealt with initially were very nice, the evening staff were rude and lazy. The swimming pool was green, there was someone sleeping under the tree outside of my room, the sidewalks were horrendous, drug deals were being made on the staircase. I could go on and on but I think you get the picture. I couldn t wait to get out of that place.

Definitely the worst Red Roof Ive stayed in, despite the hardwood floors rather than carpet which I have otherwise seen, which I hoped would be a sign of an overall cleaner, nicer location. The best part of the stay was the friendly woman at the front desk which made me feel comfortable, I told her I was staying alone and she gave me an extra towel anyway. The room itself was mostly clean, the grounds were filthy (concrete desperately needs a power wash, in addition garbage collection) and there were bugs (crickets, gnats, etc.) everywhere, including in the room. I was greeted by a large cricket on the wall above the bed frame. Yes its cricket season, but they were literally everywhere you turned. I asked for a ground floor room but none were available so I had to carry my cat in her carrier up the stairs. I checked in and the room smelled like smoke, likely due to all of the people just chilling out front and smoking cigarettes and drinking beer. No one bothered me though and were actually friendly in passing so I overlooked it since it was faint. Normally Im bothered by any smoke smell at all but I had had a long day and just needed to crash. The high/constant traffic in the parking lot might bother many though (esp Karens) especially at night, the vibe made it seem like these people lived there and did this all the time which I found odd. The fridge didnt work which was an issue since I was traveling with perishables. However there is a free ice machine in the vending room by the pool, only catch is you have to ask the front desk to program your card. I used it to put ice in my cooler and keep my food that way. On the way to find the ice maker in the dark, I tried a room which had no door number on it a few doors down from the actual vending room (it was dark and upon closer look saw it was scribbled on the door); the door unlocked but hit a privacy lock, indicating someone was inside asleep as it was dark and quiet. I quickly tiptoed away in horror as this made me feel like everyones key worked to everyones room. This was very unsettling as I was a female traveling alone, always use the safety lock when you travel, I def made sure mine was locked before bed here. Pros - AC worked well which combatted the stale smoke smell. Pet friendly + price/convenience, obviously. Would not recommend staying in this location again, luckily I do not pass through Temple often. Safety: Pretty well-lit on parking lot side

The room we recieved has roaches crawling everywhere. The tub doesnt drain properly and the toliet doesnt flush properly. The bed didnt have the right sheets are cover on them and roach were crawling in the bed. The room didnt have a trash and this is the worst experience Ive every had a red roof. We did not sleep good at all and I will never go back to this location.

My family and I had reservations for three rooms at the Red Roof Inn, but we had to leave within an hour of checking in due to the unsanitary conditions. All three rooms reeked of smoke and possibly mold or mildew, and we found roaches in every room. These conditions were unbearable, forcing us to leave immediately. Before leaving, we requested a refund so we could find another hotel. Samantha at the front desk was unhelpful, claiming she had no authority to assist us and directed us to the General Managers, Porsche and Desmond. Despite numerous attempts to reach Porsche and Desmond White by phone, we have been unable to get through or leave a voicemail. Customer service sided with us and offered RediPoints, but we are requesting a full refund as we do not plan to stay at any Red Roof Inn in the future. This reputable establishment should be ashamed of the conditions we experienced. It is unacceptable, and someone needs to contact me immediately to resolve this issue. This has been the most unethical and unprofessional experience I have ever had with any reputable establishment. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

The manager was not helpful at all. The manager which I was told was Porsha and Desmond, were not reachable. When asked to speak to either of them, the manager called the front desk and told her that they were not coming back from the meeting that they will be back the following day. It was 3:00pm at this point. The rooms had baby roaches, momma and daddy roaches and cousin roaches. The receptionist was amazing! She did all she could to make sure we got taken care of, but the managers were very unprofessional! Rooms: The rooms were full of roaches.

Your animals are not safe here!!! The head housekeeper threatened to kick my dog twice in a week. Then she & the manager tried to gaslight me saying it didnt happen. Maybe corporate should review the footage from security cameras and see if they still want their name associated with this Roach Motel. We also spend a small fortune every month combating various breeds of Roaches. Husband checked in to the hotel,was in temple for work, and had to check out 20 min later due to work location changing last minute. We were in contact with managers who were trying to assist us with the cancelation. This was 3 weeks ago for a two week stay. We got an email 2 weeks later stating that the room had been extended and have not, for the past 2 weeks been able to get anyone on the line whether we call directly or call the customer service line. Its as if no one wants to answer or resolve the issue and that we will be charged every week for a service we are not receiving. I am really disappointed because we have had such great service with red roof inn in the past. Its one of our go to choices.

Desmond and Porsche are amazing. We had a tornado hit and it rendered my apartment temporarily unlivable. The Red Roof, despite some damage, was open and had electricity. However their reservation system was down and they couldnt check people in. Didnt matter, they took my information and gave me a room anyway. Above and beyond what they had to do. I stayed a week, and despite of a shortage of hotel rooms, they charged me a reasonable rate. All of the staff are equally fantastic. I recommend the hotel on service alone!

DO NOT BOOK HERE EVEN IF YOU RE DESPERATE. Let this hotel run out of business. We needed this cheap hotel for only one night just to sleep in while we re in town. We ve stayed at multiple hotels in this town and never had issues like this! Not even 30 minutes after checking in, we killed 3 roaches. The light above the sink didn t work so I couldn t do my makeup, the floors were disgusting, I mean literally turning my feet black, the fridge barely worked even on high, no batteries in the remote, there was a ceiling piece caving in between the beds. Seriously disgusting. My family and I have to be ready in one hour for an event and we are willing to now rush to another hotel to get ready there instead, that s how disgusting this place is. It s worth paying more money somewhere else, trust me. AVOID!

I rented a room there while waiting for Oncor to resolve a power outage that had been caused by a thunderstorm. The rooms were nicer than expected, but there was a noticeable pest control issue. Not exactly an infestation, but definitely way more bugs than there should be at a hospitality establishment. There were mostly fruit flies and a few house flies, the latter being understandable this time of year and unavoidable when doors are being opened and closed frequently, but I kept noticing my dog sniffing around the wall or corner of the room and realized it was because he found a roach. My girlfriend was so disgusted that she chose to go back home to our house that had no power. As I write this, Im waiting to see if Oncor will restore power at 230am as estimated and then Im out of here too. I honestly dont think I can sleep knowing there are creepy crawlers lurking in the shadows.

My husband and I needed a place to stay while our apartment was being repaired, so based on my previous great experiences with red roof inn at several different locations we didnt hesitate to make a reservation without double checking reviews first. My first impression of the place was it looked a little run down. This location suffered some tornado damage so we chose to overlook the outside appearances. The staff we interacted with were excellent- warm and friendly and inviting. We actually booked 2 rooms for our stay due to having 2 cats (pet policy is 1 pet per room), and at first glance both rooms appeared to be acceptable. One had a clean smell and the other room smelled of smoke despite being a smoke free room. Neither room had working toilet paper holders, and only about half a roll of tp. The fridge didnt work, and only one of the tvs worked. My real issue with the place crawled out later - roaches everywhere. Pure nightmare fuel. I couldnt sleep. I dont recommend this location and have zero intentions of returning.

Dear Management, Today I passed a family (a mother, with a baby and toddler) with their life packed in 2 busted shopping carts sitting under a tree in the heat. By the time I got back to talk with them her husband was back from with some snacks. My neighbor and I could not leave them there. Her baby was sick and so we came in and Desmond and Maribel were absolutely lovely in helping me get a roof over this family s head for a few days. Kind and helpful and with the discount he gave me I was able to go buy groceries for them for a few days. I know this was just a bandaid for a really rough situation for this family. But I am so impressed with the kindness of the staff and cleanliness of the lobby. Thank you from my whole heart in helping me help a family in dire circumstances. Compassion in this world goes a long way.

I live in Austin tx, my kids and grandkids live in temple so I am here in Temple, sometimes twice a week. This is my home away from home. The staff is very professional and friendly. They always welcome me and because I prefer the bottom floor close to the exit to the parking lot, they do their best to accommodate me with the same room . The room is always clean . I never wonder if the sheets were changed or bathroom was cleaned daily. I would definitely recommend thin hotel !

I booked 3 separate rooms for 3 nights at this location, however due to the vagrants Lordering in the parking lot, And the infestation of cockroaches in his room.One of my employees did not feel comfortable staying here and opted to make the 2 hour drive back-and-forth to Houston every day. The staff was very nice and the manager informed me that refunds were handled at the corporate level. Corporate says they dont handle refunds. Still waiting

A surprisingly quiet and pleasant gem in the center of Temple. Although theres light construction you cannot hear it, I have not heard it one time and almost 2 weeks Ive been here at the Red Roof Inn in Temple Texas. The manager has been kind and more than accommodating 2 weeks into our month-long stay here. My family and I are getting ready to move into a new home and until its ready were calling the Red Roof Inn home. There are green open fields on each side which I believe why its so quiet, even though the highway is close. My husband and I have three children and we were staying in a two bed top floor facing outward to the street on the side where the office is. We could not be more pleased with our room, the cleanliness of our room, the size as well as all of the amenities in the room being clean up-to-date and easy to use. Personally, Im shocked at some of the bad reviews that are on here because they have in no way embodied our good experience here. I highly recommend staying here at the Red Roof Inn in Temple Texas. Any tiny issues that we have had since checking in, the manager has fixed immediately and Im sure hell do the same for you. His lovely wife also works here. We cant say enough good things about him, his wife or the staff here. The pool seems to be very clean although theres not many chairs it is closed for the season. Theyre opening it very soon from what Im told. Any store that you can imagine is within an incredibly short drive. Anything you could need delivers here as well. Along with some great dining that weve enjoyed.

I stayed here because a friend of mine was having a wedding nearby and this was the lowest cost and closest place I could find. Despite a few negative reviews, my experience was a positive one. When I arrived, I was informed that the rooms were being cleaned and one was not available, which was a bit of a bummer. Granted, I did arrive well before check-in, but I met with Desmond on my way out and he assured me that as soon as a room was available they would let me know. I was jusy looking for a place to sleep on my roadtrip, but the conditions of the room kept me from sleeping entirely. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The roach issue is seriously concerning. I killed 9 while staying here one night. I woke up to THREE in my bed. One quick light shine at night revealed an infestation of both roaches and dozens of small bugs I had never seen before. If I could have cancelled my reservation and given my business to another hotel I would have in a heartbeat. The location is bad and the rooms are bad but that is what I expect from a cheap hotel. The roaches were completely unacceptable though. Dont believe the owners apologies on the reviews because they obviously arent fixing the problem and its disgusting.

DO NOT STAY HERE NO REFUNDS ROACH INFESTATION my truck broke down in temple and I picked this hotel because it was the closest and cheapest. Usually I check the reviews but I was so annoyed because of my truck that I just booked. This place is gross it s really a monthly/live in and have drug addicts. THE PLACE IS INFESTED WITH ROACHES. I lasted ONE HOUR in my room cause all I seen where baby roaches and infant roaches so you know the mamas and papis are somewhere. Please do not waste your money going to this dump go spend a little more at Laquinta or candlelight inn or any of those other ones over there.

First they make sure they greet you and make sure that if they can make your stay better before you even get in the room from what I heard before ever getting a room here its a complete turnaround no roachs clean bathroom and sheets peaceful and quiet to recharge an have a quiet get away. Love the Red Roof Inn. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. The rooms are clean and spacious. It feels more like home than an Inn. It s right down the road from restaurants, and grocery stores. Location wise it s where you wanna be. Rooms: The rooms are spacious and clean. Got back from work around 12am and my room key didnt even work. After repeated attempts from the office and myself, finally the gm showed up to help. The device she used didnt work, neither. Finally, after 45 mins of trial the door unlocked. This place is roach infested and service is awful. Only stay if you have no other choice!

My experience this weekend is exactly why I always check reviews before picking a hotel. My boyfriend booked for us to stay here this weekend because it was the cheapest in the area without reading any reviews. You could not even pay me to stay here again. Room reeked of weed, light switch for vanity didnt work, bed had tiny thin blankets, and bathroom didnt come with any towels other than the small floor towels. Saturday evening at 7:30pm we went to the lobby to ask for more blankets and towels but we were told its too late for that (what hotel doesnt have 24/7 service?) so now we have a single floor towel to share for the whole weekend. And to top it off, ROACHES. My boyfriend killed a total of 6 roaches between today and yesterday, not including the dead bodies and egg sacs that we found. I woke up screaming to one crawling on me in bed. Absolute worst hotel experience Ive ever had. Always check the reviews. This place has a bug problem.

Porcha and Desmond are truly the highlight of my stay. Any concern I had was handled immediately. It s not easy finding people who will help you get your bags from outside and accommodate you. Porcha was an absolute sweetheart and I will be back specifically because of them. THE ROACHES . I absolutely hate roaches, and my room was crawling with them. There were a lot of dead roaches so I could tell the exterminator did the job, but these critters are extremely intelligent and can hide anywhere until the coast is clear. At first I was going to leave. But Porcha and Desmond got me to a new room with no questions asked and gave me an extra night and I appreciate that so much. I went to buy some raid and some sticky traps and it was very effective. My boyfriend however did not mind the roaches at all, he was stepping on the roaches with his bare feet and laughing at me. I did not find that amusing AT ALL. But if you are not afraid of roaches the stay was very reasonable for the price. The refrigerator wasn t really cold and the light to the vanity sink did not work but overall I honestly can t even complain. There are plenty of restaurants within a mile and a very small mall right across the highway

I m a travel nurse and work nights-had to hurry to check in and go straight to work. Passed out in the morning after observing 2 small cockroaches and a larger one in the tub and on the wall. In the afternoon I woke up to find 20+ dead and living ones had joined them. The tv stand was also yanked out from the wall and almost ripped loose from the attached desk, which was precariously being held up only by the screws into the wall fro. The back of it. Dead cockroaches in front of and behind it and even living ones. I saw 2 cockroaches run across the bed while I was getting my stuff together to leave this afternoon for work. Gross. Hotwire should be ashamed of themselves for charging $136 for 2 nights in this roach motel. Threadbare towels, no blanket, just nasty. I m never staying at another red roof inn anywhere ever. I utilize a lot of hotels in my work.

My stay at Red Roof Inn in Temple was truly awful and the customer service I ve received after the fact has been even worse. For context, I am a full time wheelchair user. Due to this, I intentionally booked an ADA Accessible room at this location over a month prior to my stay. Upon arrival, there was no accessible designated parking. As a wheelchair user this is crucial to even being able to enter the building. At check-in I was informed there were no accessible rooms, despite having booked and confirmed that the room I booked would be accessible. Understanding that, despite booking an accessible room, I would be put in a non-accessible room, I was given what was nothing more than scrap wood to use as a ramp to enter my room. This ramp also did not meet the ADA stipulations on ramp grade that would have ensured my safety while attempting to enter my room. Due to the inappropriate build of the ramp, I had an incident where my wheelchair fell backwards into the dirt, which caused trauma to my feeding tube, resulting in pain and bleeding as well as pain in my back. The bathroom door in my inaccessible room was too small for my wheelchair to fit through, meaning I was forced to literally crawl on the floor in the bathroom. This also meant I could not use the shower or bathtub. So I was unable to bathe during the majority of my stay, or even wash myself after being covered in mud from the fall mentioned above. I was promised a shower chair as well, which was finally fulfilled late on Friday evening. While this was appreciated, it was still a very unsafe and uncomfortable situation. At one point, an employee of the hotel offered to help me bathe as an alternative to the accommodations I should have been provided. It was completely dehumanizing and embarrassing for a complete stranger to offer that kind of assistance. At one point I was spoken to about potentially getting a refund for the inconvenience but that never came to fruition during my stay so I reached out to guest relations to see about resolving that. They have been nothing but rude, dismissive, and unhelpful in this situation. Many of the grievances I experienced during my stay are violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1991, and revised in 2010. As record indicates this building was updated in 2018 and should be compliant. I cannot recommend a location that does not follow federal law.

This place should be condemned. Bugs in the room, disgusting shower curtain, piles off trash outside other rooms, pool looks like a pond, empty rooms with no locks, and overall trashed property. I didn t feel safe staying here, cars parked here with smashed out windows. Red Roof Inn should pull their name because now I ll never stay at a Red Roof Inn again. You cant miss the room.... the door number is leaning against the air conditioner and there is a blank spot on the door where it belongs. There is a chemical smell that permeates the entire property. Recently sprayed for bugs maybe? Bed is made with only a top and bottom sheet, nothing else. Only one hand towel and bath towel available in a room for two adults. The front desk states that they dont have towels and I need to wait until the morning. Overall the property is run down. The only redeeming factor is the proximity to the hospital.

Ok, lets start with that I dont make it a habit of writing poor reviewes, but this one is really deserved. To summerize; if you want to stay in a unsanitary and hair coated room and be cheated on you CC this is the place! PS: The pool is irridesent green. I reserved three rooms for contract employees. Check in was slow given that they already had all the information from the online check-in. After the folks checked in I found out that they called their boss, complained about the rooms and were planning on leaving. The complains were the same for all rooms, hair on all surfaces, stained sheets, a bad smell and a generaI unsanitary condition. I called Red Roof Temple Texas and was told that I would get a complete refund due to the condition of the rooms. Several days later I reviewed the credit card account and found multiple charges and some refunds. Nothing added up. When I personally visited the front desk, they were not helpful and could not explain the charges as well as refusing to clear up the issue. Any way you look at it Red Roof still owes the firm $200. Im pretty easy to get along with but this one particular housekeeper is very rude and has no customer service skills. I was walking to my car in the dark to take the trash to the trash can. I was considering of walking on the grass and lean around the cart that was up against the banister to see if I could see dog poop on the grass. She yells from the room What you doing? to me instead of asking if I needed something or if I was ok. I could have lost my balance due to balance issues. The cart has been in the same place since early in the afternoon. When I came back this evening from working with my hands full of boxes, the guy moved out of the way to make way for me to go by. The same housekeeper from last night was talking to the guy in the same room from last night, gave me the attitude with her eyes, looking at me from head to toe and back up with her lips puckered out and horrible body language. She didnt move until I said excuse me twice. She looked at me up and down and back up again and said uumm-hmm with horrible attitude and moved out of the way. She was telling the guy the issue she had for letting the front desk know of her attitude from last night. Dont appreciate her attitude and shouldnt be in the field where there is customers paying the room with their hard working money and from their checks from serving this country.

The management here has made a bad situation for us a little less stressful! They were more than polite and professional, they actually took time to talk and show genuine compassion. Had a couple hiccups with needing some towels and such but they immediately handled it and got us set up with everything we could think of needing. Having a loved one going into the hospital is hard but they definitely helped us take a little stress out of the night so we could focus on what was most important. Even took time to pray for us. Amazing people and probably one of the best hotel experience weve ever had and you cant beat the price! Rooms: Even though its an older motel, the rooms were clean, a/c was new and worked like a charm. There were extra linens in case we needed them. Nearby activities: Very close to the hospital (which is why we were here). Within minutes of anything you could need in town but not right in the middle of all of the traffic so it was nice and quiet.

Horrible service!! last night asked for extra pillow at reception and said they were gonna take it to my room and guess what?? They never did!! When i got to my room our beds had only one sheet and a pillow each. Asked my son to go back and one of the staff told him they where close for that day and she couldn t give him anything. Then I decided to go back and the access was locked to all the guest and no one was at the lobby!! I rang the bell for 5 mins and no one opened the door. So this was a really horrible experience cause we slept with out pillows and blankets just because they said they where closed!! I DONT recommend this hotel at all, is better sleeping in the car and not waisting your money!!! Cero stars

GERMAN ROACH INFESTED ROOM #115!!!! Paid over 80.00 on a Tuesday (July) for one night. The door strip was ripped off, leaving the entire bottom over an inch high open across!!! So when i walked in the room it smelled like cigaretts and smokey vibes, the bed was made nicely the counters beautiful but alot of problems with red roof inn temple tx, the walls are scratched the paint is off and everythings a mess and there is so much roaches there was 5 when i walked in the restroom and they were not small but not big one even jumped on me in the restroom the bath/shower is nice water temp was good its kinda crouded but its crouded for a reason the pool lookes nice tv is good service wasnt all that but it was fine and under the door is open so a rat or mouse or roaches or spiders can come in with no problem therefore we had to put a blanket to feel more safe im still up its 2:00am and im still up cause im worried about a roach or something biting me this all leads me to a 1.0 star rating. Management is always nowhere to be found. This place should be shut down or deeply investigated. If I could give a 1/2 star that would be too high of a review Safety: It s not safe

The staff is friendlier than other places, its easy to find and close to many amenities, but the element that this place attracts is not the best. Loud mouths at 7 am outside, people upstairs making tons of noise, some trying to get keycards to work on every door and neighbors who were chronic potheads. It was a bed to sleep in, but I would not stay here again. Whether youre traveling with kids, a spouse, or yourself, spend a few extra bucks and get a better place to stay.

Poor service, bad quality of cleaness, Hope they will start to clean rooms otherwise hotel is crazy nasty. One of my beds had a pillow with a burnt hole of cigarette Rooms: Dirty rooms lots of cockroaches Safety: First day didnt even had a keycard to my room, also that kind of windows that You could easily take out and get in any room dont add safety feel

Dirty rooms seemed to outnumber the clean ones. Employees fraternizing with guests made ours an unpleasant stay. Noteworthy details: Broken glass (windows) need replacing. Linens were stained.

I book a room for 5 nights. Was gone the first night tocome back to find out my room key is no longer active and no way to talk to any one here to let me into a room I payed in full for 5 days. So Im stuck sleeping in my car at their front desk.

When I went to check in, the computer was down and there was some kind of emergency. I had to make an event and couldn t wait for the computer/emergency to be resolved. They said it could be an hour. They gave me a room and had a guy take me to the room. The bed wasn t made. He laid a sheet on the bed, pillows and pointed me to sheets and a blanket. So I didn t have a made bed. He said he would get me a key, but needed a $20 refundable deposit. I was pretty upset at this point, but resolved to sleep wrapped in sheets and a blanket. The whole episode was stressful. As my time was short I had to leave. When I got back later that evening, I went to the front desk to get my key. I was told there was no deposit required and the guy they had help me wasn t even an employee and my giving him $20 was on me. When I pointed out that they had him service me, I had to assume he was an employee. They admitted they were wrong and gave me $20 compensation. I went to my room wanting to watch a little TV and relax before bedtime. There was no remote for the TV and no way to turn it on, etc. on the TV itself. I went back to the front desk to resolve this and it was closed. I gave up. Upon check out, there were different employees. When I mentioned the remote issue and that they were closed, the girl helping me got defensive saying it never closes and said it wasn t her responsibility since she wasn t there at the time. She said there was a number posted to call if the front desk was locked. I had called and got voice mail. She was very aggressive and rude. I couldn t get a word in. I was upset that she wasn t concerned about the problems I had been having. All I wanted was decent service. When I sarcastically pointed out that she wasn t responsible , she threatened to call 911. I said do it and left. It was a horrible experience.
