Place is shady. I slept in my truck due to being told vehicles get broken into a lot after we checked in. I figured I would let my hubby sleep while I cuddled with my .40. I saw people driving around with their headlights off really slow. Wouldnt be a bad idea for them to get security.

Clean and hospitable as always. Hot tub was not usable on this trip. Otherwise they did a great job of attempting to recover from the tornado. Being sensitive to black mold, I could definitely smell it in the hallways near the pool area. Stayed on second floor so it wasnt a horrible issue for me. Rooms

Well first off the price is ridiculous. We were told they offered free breakfast. Which they dont.nothing on the menu was dairy or gluten free. .the hot tb wasnt working. The lid to the coffee pit in the room was broken. The toilet ran all night due to ,u have to lift the toilet lid to flush the toilet.the bed was way too soft and they called me 3 times asking if I really needed my handicapped room..I did get the room thru their website which is considered a 3rd party. . Things were very different in person than what was advertised. They say the allow pets with a costly deposit. Even though its a convenient location. The motel is not all that as it appeared on the website. Walkability: Lots of walkable food choices around

We only had a couple of issues with our room. They body wash, shampoo and conditioner bottles that were on the wall in the shower were completely empty. The shower handle really had to be cranked on to turn it off completely. The pool was closed for cleaning both days we were there. Other than that we enjoyed the check in and out process thru the Hilton app on our phones and the remote locking system also thru the cell phones. Would stay there again.

Not worth the price. The front desk staff was really nice, but as soon as you walked in, the lobby smelled like mildew. The floor in the room had obviously not been cleaned because there was candy on the floor. The bathroom has no type of circulation or vent, so a shower gets super hot and steamy, making it very uncomfortable in the whole room, especially with it being summer. The beds are hard and uncomfortable, and the pillows are literally non-existent, lol. Practically laying in the mattress with how horrible the pillows were. We promised ourselves to never stay here again.

The room was clean and a decent size with 2 queen beds. Room darkening curtains were very effective, and the air conditioning worked well (and quietly). Beds were lumpy, and I could not get comfortable. I tossed and turned most of the night and eventually switched to the other bed, but it was the same. The bathroom was roomy, and water pressure in the shower was good. Check-in was easy, and the front desk agent was very friendly and helpful!

The staff were very nice and helpful. The lobby was nice, however stain spots on a lot of the seating in the lobby. Our room had quite a few things wrong with it. Crumbs on the floor, but on the bed, lights were not working or looked like they were going to fall over because they were broken. The bathroom was tiny and the shower ran the whole time unless we tightened the knob so much you felt like you were going to pull it off. The showers faucet was coming off the wall and many things seemed like they were not taken care of. I would not recommend this hotel or stay here again. It was definitely not worth the price. Rooms: Not great, small and things falling apart. Walkability: Very close to a lot of restaurants and right across the road from the hospital.

Place is okay. Location is good. Staff were great. The room was clean and decently maintained. The showers water pressure was pretty low. The entry door doesnt close smoothly, and the other rooms doors as well, so you can hear them slamming all night. The walls and floors are not too soundproof. Some TV channels have bad connections so they either come in broken or not at all. The gym is spacious but missing a cable machine. The Hampton down the street has one though, so one would expect a higher brand to have one, but youd be wrong. The lobby is pretty small, but a bar got fitted into it.

Love this hotel! It is my first choice anytime I travel to Temple. The beds are super comfortable (which is high priority for me!), and the rooms are high tech, especially the tvs and the living room area fan/light that has a remote control. The hotel is always clean and quiet, too. I have not tried the restaurant so I can t say anything about the food. On my last stay the bathtub didn t drain well when I was taking a shower, so I called the front desk and maintenance had it fixed by the end of the same day! Lots of food and a grocery store close by as well, which is nice.

My favorite part was the fact that the employees at the desk were super kind and helpful. Pearl our waitress for the breakfast buffet was the star of the show. She is so approachable and very good at her job. She talked and mingled with tables and was such a nice presence for the start of my day. I had to come back to the temple area and stay across the street but I made sure to have my breakfast at the hilton. So grateful to have met such wonderful people. Thank you hilton! Housekeeping is upon request. Even if you request the service sometimes they forgot to clean your room. Nothing special in the room. Bad design of the mini kitchen, very uncomfortable to wash dishes. Big microwave (useless) with a mid size microwave is enough. No stove. And found a little cockroach this morning. Breakfast is always the same. They say they have 400+ combinations (I do not see where) LOL. I wanted to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn but is always sold out.

This hotel is pretty and for the most part clean but during our stay the pool and spa water was dirty and the food on the buffet was extremely poor and cold and empty, There was not even eggs and we were there at an early time and when we approached the staff they sed they could make us some but will be and extra charge. I asked on front desk for our money back but since it wasnt charged to our room but paid upfront he couldnt do nothing. We found several huge bugs and the corridors but no roaches or bugs in our rooms thank god. There was no accesible room available and no cribs as advertised available. I was giving 2 bottles of water in a plastic bag and a borrowed blanket. I couldnt really rest because I was afraid my baby would fall from bed. The staff was very polite but couldnt fix anything and didnt offer any options to compensate or make our stay more comfortable. There was more hotels in the same spot but we opted for Hilton based on previous experiences and this time was not the best.

I called to double check if my room was reserved as come to find out they booked me for wrong day. Come to find out they were also sold out for the night. Mind you I had a 5 hour drive all I wanted to do was get to the room and get some rest. Austin was very nice to find us another room in Belton but we couldn t afford to stay in Belton due to needing to be at the Hilton Garden Inn very early in the AM. Mind you we only had 1 car. No manager called me to apologize which you would assume.

THE HARDEST MOST UNCOMFORTABLE, BEDS Ive ever had the displeasure to attempt to sleep on. No seriously; I couldnt sleep, went to the desk at 4 am, in pain and tears, and the lady was so sweet and tried to help me. She and I tried two other rooms, none were any better. Literally had to spend $40 at Walmart for an airbed and put it on top of the bed. (Prepaid for 2 days and couldnt change it.) Continued room issues include: Light at the night stand and window chain were broken when we came in the room, and the tub leaked pretty significantly. The pool had a strong chlorine smell so strong you have to leave after a few because it would give you a headache. Staff was EXCELLENT, and the lady chef making the fresh food was great too, but the beds were just unimaginably hard.

We stayed at the Hilton in Houston which was much better in those regards while my husband was at MD Anderson. Check in was a nightmare. We called beforehand asking when is the latest time we could check in since we knew we would get there by 3 AM and they told us that was fine and we could check it any time after we booked the hotel. So we get there by 3 AM and the woman there basically did not want to check us in, saying we came too late and she had to call her manager. So we waited a long time with a fussy baby for her to keep calling around and I guess she wasnt able to get ahold of anyone so she finally gave us a room key but acted like she was doing us this BIG FAVOR and giving it for free and like we didnt pay $170 for one night for our reservation. It was ridiculous. Hotel room smelled like mold and when we saw the room had a shower, we asked if we could be switched to a room with a tub since we had a 1 year old with us and she couldnt take a bath in a walk in shower (it pretty much was just a curtain blocking the rest of the bathroom floor from the water and a hose. It reminded me of a place you would take a dog a bath). The lady said she cant do anything since we werent suppose to even be there and theres nothing she could do even when I asked her how are we suppose to take our daughter a bath then? She didnt care and she didnt want to help or even talk to us. Very rude. We shouldve just asked for a refund but it was 3AM in the morning and everyone was exhausted from the drive. Long story short, horrible customer service here and rude workers. We paid alot of money for one night, one room just to be treated like we are asking for handouts. Ridiculous. It was a young Asian woman who was working that night. And they dont have free breakfast, its $10 per person. Rooms: Dirty, the water pressure in the shower was off. The shower was more like a curtain to divide the rest of the floor from the water. It was not a real shower. Could not take our daughter a bath there. Safety: I didnt feel safe since there was an extra door in the room that led to the room next door.

Prior to booking my stay, I contacted the site to inquire about using my tax-exempt status. I was told I just needed to provide my tax-exempt card and complete a simple form. Upon arrival, that was not the situation, I was told I could not use this due to it being considered an occupational tax and not a sales tax. Friday (3/17) night my family went to the pool. The pool had dirty water, so much so that you could not see the bottom of the pool and there was mold around the stairs going into the pool. Saturday (3/19) on the way out for the afternoon (about 1230pm), I stopped by the front desk to ask for a Room Refresh. I was told by the front desk that it was too late to ask for that and I should have asked for it the prior night. Keep in mind this was less than 24 hrs from check-in. I explained to the front desk (I believe his name was Tony or Troy) there was nothing posted that there was a cut-off time on when I could request this service. I explained to this gentleman that the lotion in the bathroom had dust and dried lotion all over it. The front desk then said to me Well did you report this last night? Which I felt was not very professional. I told the gentleman no I didnt report it, but I was now. He continued to tell me how next time I need to let them know upon check-in, and he said that he would do it this time and said that he would put my room down for a full-service refresh. Upon returning to my room later that evening, the beds had been made but the lotion container was still dirty and there was trash in my ice container, which wasnt there prior. I didnt say anything, bc what was the point? There was a huge crack in the shower going up the wall. I had to sleep with my earbud on both nights to drown out the noises from other occupants running around and there was a humming noise coming from the air conditioning. I dont feel that this site held up the Hilton status quo and made a bad representation of the name Hilton Gardens. I can guarantee that I will never stay at this location again.

Stayed here over a business weekend. They have a bar and restaurant in the lobby area that was small and nice. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner options that are affordable and tasted great. Rooms are really nice and affordable. Right near Baylor Scott and White hospital and has lots of shopping and dining options within walking distance.

I had a wonderful stay. The only draw back was the price. A bit on the expensive side for my liking. It was very convenient to have the shuttle back and forth to the Scott And White hospital since I couldnt drive right after my surgery. Id stay again. Rooms: The room was very clean and well stocked. The only complaint I have is the pillows were very big and hard. Bring your own if you are able. Safety: Seemed very safe. No worries about the area. Walkability: Although I didnt walk any where there are several restaurants close by and a CVS isnt too far to walk. And, of course, the Scott And White Hospital is across the street. If you dont want to walk the Hospital has a Shuttle to go back and forth. Food and drinks: There was a small restaurant on site and I loved the breakfast buffet! Noteworthy details: They have a Great indoor pool!

First, let me say that they lost the opportunity for a fifth star by posting the 30.06/30.07 firearm prohibition posters. The rest of my review is mostly positive. The lobby entrance is very modern and clean. Austin A. at the desk is extremely friendly, and not in a fake way, either. Genuinely nice. The elevator and hallways are also clean. Using the hotels connectivity features was a first for me, and it was easy to unlock the door to my room with my phone. The room did have a musty, moldy odor, as mentioned in other reviews, but it was not overpowering, and it didnt make the stay any less enjoyable. Now, there was a problem with the room, but the way the staff handled the problem really showed how much they care about their guests. The heater wanst working, and it was a bit cool in the room, so we called the front desk to report it, and within 5 minutes, a man from maintenance was there to help. Unfortunately, the heater needed a part replaced, which couldnt be done that night, but as soon as he realized that it couldnt be repaired, he offered to have us placed in another room, which we declined since we were already unpacked. He then brought us a space heater (which worked great) and extra blankets, and was very apologetic, even though it was an unforseeable problem. I just love great customer service, and this was indeed great customer service. A problem is never as big of an issue as the way a problem is handled, and they handled it well.

After a late cancelation of a cheer competition we were rerouted to the Temple area with a one week window to reserve rooms. I needed a block and spoke to Abby who was gracious and accommodated our request for a large block. The price was very fair and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Most of us were late arrivals but Linda kept the bar open and served us well after typical close time for Hilton. She was a refreshing relief for a late night 3 hour drive for our frayed and weary nerves. The indoor pool also stayed open later so our tweens competing in a cheer competition could also relax and wind down. Check out was at 12 and that extra hour was just what we needed to get our cheerleaders ready for competition cheer. There are adjacent restaurants and Walmart and Target were with 5 min drive. At check out, Trey was great and concise in his operative check out needs and a pleasure to converse with. I recommend this Hilton Garden in as a great stop for Hilton Honors Members and travelers alike. Thank you to the staff!

The snacks that I requested for the room, there were 4 (chips, slim jim, nature valley bar, and Reese cup) , false advertising compared to the photo of that room. The bed frames were longer in the side which caused a minor scratch to one of children. The cook was slightly rude but the server was nice.

I m a Hilton Diamond member and am very loyal to the brand. This was not a good experience or a good choice. A bulb was out in my bathroom so it was difficult to shave so I notified the front desk in the morning so they could replace the bulb for the next day. Got back to the room that evening - still no bulb. Had to go back and ask again. The second morning I needed to print a couple of pages and went to the business center. Printer was out of paper. Asked for assistance and the desk clerk put paper in. Still got an error that the paper tray was empty. Told the desk clerk again - nothing. Bottom line I didn t get my stuff printed.

Easily the best place we stayed during a 6-day road trip Noteworthy details: 100% of the Staff we encountered were fabulous! The breakfast is as good as in any restaurant and youd be hard-pressed to find a cheaper place to eat and get the same quality. The REAL bonus to the breakfast is Pearl, the lady who takes care of the breakfast patrons - she really is a true gem, and I told her so! Shell help get your day started right simply by how very kind she is
