I have visited two other locations of Bushs Chicken in Temple Texas. Every time I went to the other two locations I had a very good experience. But not over here. I did not like Chicken pieces were not Hot , just warm and the okras were cold and dry!!! I believe they cooked too many and left it open too long. Price was higher also

I placed an online order for my son to pick up. It was ready at 1pm which is what time my son arrived. He went to drive thru & was told it would be a minute. 30 minutes later my son called me and said food still hadnt arrived. Everyone behind him got their food. He called inside and was told it was coming. I called back because his food & drink had been sitting for 30 minutes. They were going to give him a watery drink & cold food. I told them no. He needs fresh food. Absolutely ridiculous wait time for just 4 tenders, potatoes & drink.

During the Tornado that hit last night, I was trying to beat the storm and go get my oldest son from work ended up getting stranded at bushs when the tornado hit. I was a panicked mess because I left my baby and daughter with my dad at my apartment while my other son and I went to get him but the managers zues and Eric were so amazing at how they sprung into action and got everyone in freezer stop be safe. They walked around making sure no one was left behind including customers. Kt ( I think that was his name) was amazingly calm and talked us all through it as well. In a moment I should have been strong I wasnt but they were. I was worried about my son being without me at work but Im confident he would have been safe because of those men. They took care of everyone even while they joked. Everyone was safe and sound. I greatly appreciate the them and the team that s there. Please acknowledge their heroic actions. They kept my boys and I safe.

Chicken tenders were great . Corn nuggets hot and wonderful. DONT order the mashed potatoes single size. Got home and probably had 2 tablespoons of potatoes in cup. Charged about 2.50 . Husband said why bother give it to our dog. Not enough for his dinner side.

This is prob the worse Bush s that I ve ever been to. It was 4pm and I was headed back out of town and wanted some chicken for the road. Stopped by and there may have been 3 cars in the lanes and it took a minute before anyone came out to great me. The food is excessively expensive but I didn t care because they normally have good food. I ordered wings and they charged me for them but the lady came back and said they didn t have 4 wings only 3 and would I like something else, instead of dropping more wings. I said no and they charged me for the 3 wings and refunded the 4. Then I get my food finally and it was dry and over cooked or maybe been under the heat lamp for a long time. Nevertheless, it was my first and last time at that location.

Our Drive thru experience was rather pleasant. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food was fresh and piping hot and salads were also fresh and crispy. We would definitely go back and highly recommend.

I go a couple of times a month for mashed potatoes, country gravy (vegetarian) to go and also livers & gizzards for my dogs who love them. Their employees are friendly and helpful, better than average for a fast food place. Also the dining room has a couple of wide screen TVS. Plenty of ketchup, hot sauces, napkins on each table. Vegetarian options: I like that their vegetables and potatoes & gravy dont have meat added. Some of the salads are vegetarian. Parking: Its busy but parking isnt a problem. Also disabled parking near front entrance. Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible & near front entrance.

Online pricing stated 29.99 for 20 tenders, 5 rolls & gravy. I arrived & the sign stated $33.??, no biggie the online price didnt show price with sides. I asked to confirm how many sides the 20 tenders comes with. Was told 2, so I asked for two family mashed potatoes & I ordered an extra side as well @ $4.99. That should bring my total to $40 + tax. I was thinking no more than $45.00. After arriving back at home & looking at my account and receipt, they actually charged more. I paid $25 cash and the balance on a card, which reflected $27.13. To my calculations, that comes to $52.13. It seems they overcharged me close to $10. I get inflation, but if the prices changed that much, then update your prices on your signs. I probable wont be back. This was the first time Ive been to Bushs in many months. My mistake as I have always thought they were overpriced & thats my opinion. Parking: Not a lot of parking, but manageable.

Car hops were friendly , but I don t know what the big fuzz about this place is. Tenders were paler than a ghost on a haunt, no flavor whatsoever, the gravy was bleh , and the fries were dry and even more bleh. I guess the sweet tea was the only tasteful thing. I used to live right next to this location and frequented often. Live on the other side of town now but decided to stop in for dinner during work. The standards have gone down tremendously. Customer service is not great, very short and curt. I tried to order the gizzard meal, but was told they were out at the moment, not a big deal just didnt have time to wait for fresh ones. The fries were not seasoned at all, and the tenders I got were all on the small side. It felt like a kids portion. I had also asked for some extra condiments that I never received. The only redeeming quality for this meal was that it was at least hot. I havent had bushs this lacking in years.

Horrible customer service on every level. Today I placed an order and handed an employee my credit card. And never seen him again. Waited about twenty five minutes as everyone who pulled up behind me got their orders and left. I had to call the store and ask for either my food or my credit card via phone. They sent out someone totally different and said they gave my credit card to someone else and they were going to attempt to Google/Facebook/social media this person and get my card back. I asked to speak to a manager and that lady was absolutely terrible. No remorse or admittance of any sort. She told me to just leave, I was obstructing other customers. I then asked for the owner or a corporate number. She gave me the number to a child who said this has happened before and it s just a mistake, not to worry about it. The manager whose information I was given, refused to give me any number or email higher than his own. So I called the police. They dispatched an amazing officer who sadly told me this location has actually given him someone else s card before. Clearly, this location needs a system overhaul, and an owner that will actually post their information should you have an issue. Management shouldn t drag there knuckles at these systemic issues. Keep in mind, this is the same location that cannot accept cash tips due to an unspecified employee scandal. Absolute $h!t show at the Adams Ave Bush s in Temple Texas every-time. I support Bush s as a brand. Just not this location. Shady, incompetent, unwilling to right or admit their wrongs.

Another twenty minutes goes by and they come out to inform me that it was going to be a while longer so if I just wanted to be refunded for that meal. Quick fast friendly service. Pulled up and was immediately greeted. So fast the gentleman walked away while I was requesting for some sauce packets and seasoning. Food was hot and fresh but sadly no packets were given for sauce or seasoning. Fast, friendly service, juicy, tender chicken strips, and light, fluffy, fresh rolls! I recommend Bushs baby sauce as well. I tried the corn nuggets for the first time, since I am a fan of all things fried, and the creamed corn inside of the crisp, battered shell was surprisingly satisfying. The double ordering lines cut the wait time down considerably. Just dont plan on turning left out of there during rush hour!

I made the rookie mistake of pulling up to the window and subsequently got passed up for next in line. BTW, they dont use the drive-up window. The assistant manager then came out to take my order once he discovered that I had been skipped. He was all about customer service and definitely made the situation right. He could teach a thing or two to a couple of other fast food places Ive been to recently. This Bushs restaurant and its assistant manager rate high marks from me!

A couple weeks later, we went on a Tuesday for the 16 family tender deal and the tenders were half the size of the 5 piece the first time we went. So it wasnt as good of a deal as it sounded. Over the past few months this locations quality has plummeted. Orders have not been correct multiple times, items missing from meals, and recently I did not receive my proper change. I did not notice the change issue until i got home and called due to missing items, when I checked my ticket I found I was shorted 5 bucks on the change. This is where I draw the line on using this location, being a cash purchase I know that confirming the missing change is not possible on their end but theift is not acceptable in my book.

Normally dont deal with this here, but customer service was beyond bad. Little girl walked up to the car didnt say anything . I started to ordered was interrupted by her multiple times , I asked for extra crispy okra because other wise I cannot eat it and she then proceeds to confirm she heard me and brings out undercooked food that is inedible. I expect more for this bushs thats the only reason they got more than one start.

I went to drive-thru and once I received my order I was being charged for a meal I didnt order! Also I order Mac and cheese and didnt come in my order noticed once I got home . Then I was charged for a large fries which I didnt order and not in the bag. No one picks up the phone at this location.
