This place is under new ownership I have been here twice tried two different meals and they were fantastic. I did see a couple bad reviews but looking at the reviews it looks like they went somewhere else because this place always uses the same white plate not a blue one and even the fried rice looks different. The new owners seem to be very kind and food portions are large. I would highly recommend this place.

I enjoyed so much the food and family feeling I received here. The food is above 100%. I enjoyed the orange chicken and egg rolls. I can say to you that if you dont love this food...you need to go to McDonalds!? Dietary restrictions: There is a lot of selections for those on special diets. You just look at the menu. You know what you can eat. Order accordingly Kid-friendliness: They were all wonderful. The kids loved their food!!

We eat a lot of takeout and this was shockingly bad. I cant even understand how their one review before this one said Best in temple . The food is incredibly bland, no color or flavor. The fantail shrimp appetizer was super greasy, and the shrimp were not cleaned. The fried rice is a joke, bland as hell and drab in color. The Eggrolls were bland, almost gray in color, and soggy.

Today I was craving orange chicken and I saw they were opened again. I was super excited. I called and went in, picked up my order and they were very helpful and kind. They told me they had recently opened up again. Food was delicious!! I ordered orange chicken and fried rice.

I have passed Sun s Kitchen every day for about 4 years and finally gave it a chance. Mad at myself for not stopping by sooner. I love the little cozy atmosphere, food, and especially the service! The owner came out and personally talked to us, and was so open and friendly. Big plus for me, it s affordable and I don t feel like I m breaking the bank eating here. I would recommend the egg drop soup and fried dumplings. 10/10 I will be coming back. Please give this adorable little restaurant a try if you re in the area.

Suns Kitchen made me feel like I was at home in my grandmas kitchen waiting for a good meal. I first saw Suns Kitchen while leaving an appt in the area and saw they had good reviews. Im always up for trying good Asian good, and Sun did not let me down one bit. I walked into an empty restaurant and was surprised, but it was past lunchtime. She was very attentive. She whipped up my food quickly and brought it out to me. Everything was fresh and hot. I had to sit and wait for it to cool. Once it cooled, I was in heaven! Everything I had was amazing and worth every cent. The Beef Bulgogi was superb, and the egg rolls were absolutely amazing. She even threw in some extra ones. I planned on returning, but before I left, she informed me she would be closing and moving in a couple of months. It was like an instant heartbreak to hear her say that. Its hard to find food that knocks your socks off, and thats what I experienced. I wish her the best of luck in the future. If you didnt get the opportunity to try this fine cuisine, you missed a treat.

We feel sorry for this place. The lady that took our order was very nice and the only employee. She also did the cooking and brought our food to our table in a Styrofoam to-go box. Even though we were dining in. The food was so-so. The Kung-Po chicken was breaded and had red sauce on it. Its the same chicken used for the General Tso chicken. Very odd! The noodles were okay, but the beef was a little gamey. The tiny shrimp was tasteless and the size of a fingernail. On top of everything, the cost was over $40. We will not return. My wife and I ordered take-out this evening from this lovely restaurant. From the moment I entered to order, the owners were warm and inviting. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy (I love the hand-painted mural), and when I brought the food home we were both delighted by how quality the taste was. Each item had clearly been made with care, and I can say it was one of the loveliest at-home dining experiences I ve had so far in Temple. We will absolutely be back!

Went there shortly after opening and was not impressed, at all. I didnt think they would stay in business long. Three months ago this was my favorite Chinese restaurant. The food was great. The last two times I have gone they have had a different people there. I don t know if they sold or are under different management or what, but the food just isn t as good and they all look more stressed. They seem to not work together as a team. Updated review: My family and I were regulars here but we will never go back. We have tried the food 3 times since they changed owners and everytime food is so bad noodles with no veggies, everything is different and the quality has come down soooo many levels. Im truly disappointed and will miss my old favorite place Suns Kitchen and Ill miss my friends. My review 2 years ago and until recently my families favorite:I love this place. 5 stars .They are always so nice and their food is really fresh. definitely should have read the most recent reviews. Assume they lost their cook because we have absolutely never tasted worse or animal food in our lives. And we check out new places all the time. Had the beef broccoli it tasted like urine had the general Tsos chicken it tasted like ketchup. We wont say it wasnt fresh. Everything appeared to be fresh, but the spring rolls which look nice had almost nothing in them however, they were fresh. Totally sorry to have to give a one star, Ive never done that before but to be honest Im just warning people away from this place.

The communal straws were tainted yellow as if theyd had something spilled on them. High guys. Thisll be a short one. I promise. I have been craving egg drop soup for a bit now. I found a place a few weeks ago but didnt review it. I went again yesterday. Its not a fluke! The soup is delicious! Im no food expert but I promise... its delicious. I would normally have to add a bit of salt and pepper to my soup. I eat it just as it comes. My son said he didnt want anything (which means order him something anyways because hell be hungry in ten minutes). I ordered him an orange chicken meal. Ordered spicy dish of food. I received half plate of fried rice and other half with meat, vegetables and sauce. The food was very good, temperature hot, just off grill and delivered, and tasty. I thanked them for todays food. I expressed my gratitude and appreciation for the spices. The food was freshly cooked, and spicy, the way I enjoy it. I will return again. Went here based off reviews and its right up the street from us. I was excited to try it out. The food came out really fast and it was really disapointing. The chicken was over cooked and very dry. The generals chicken had next to no flavor. My wife got fried rice which is white rice mixed with sime oil. Honestly save your 50 cents. The service was nice and accomadating. Very nice people. Needless to say I was supremely disapointed probably wont go back. The prices are reasonable and the resturant itself is very plain. In my opinion it was run of the mill with very little flavor

Very sweet people here, looks like they mainly do take out and delivery. Food was great. I was expecting the standard Chinese food but what I got was standard dishes done right. The portions are smaller than youd think but are full of quality ingredients that someone took time to make and prepare. Id consider this my go to American Chinese food for Temple.

This is a highly underrated Asian joint. My wife and I got sesame chicken, combination fried rice, and egg drop soup. Everything was delicious, even the egg rolls that came with our meal. We will definitely be coming back!

Kung Pao chicked medium spicy. What makes this restaurant is original home flavors. All the vegetables they use add this flavor a best can describe as full. Its not your fancy restaurant trying to be fancy and its also not your fast food asian food trying to make a dollar. You can see thought went into the dishes and it really shows by them not being afraid adding carrots for example on this dish. I dont recall having Kung Pao with carrots and let me tell you its a treat. Coming back to try their shrimp dishes later. Great stuff totally recommend. Looking forward to more of those vegetables ^_^

Customer service in most Temple restaurants is mediocre at best. And local places are hard to find with the countless franchises we attract. But Suns Kitchen rises above in both cases great customer service (friendly people, imagine that!) and great Asian food. Weve been a few times and each time weve been impressed. Sun s kitchen is my go to for lunch at least 2-3 times a week. Super friendly owners and staff! Fresh hot perfectly cooked food every time! I ve had all entrees and they all are great! My favorite is the chicken bulgogi (extra spicy) and the chicken stir fry noodles. Entrees come with two egg rolls (with an awesome sweet/spicy sauce) and drink. Wonton soup is large and tasty! Their shrimp tempura is so good especially with the sauce they provide with egg roll. Great prices, very clean, and also can watch them prepare your meal!

People were really nice but the Food is not good at all! I ordered sesame chicken, shrimp fried rice, teriyaki shrimp and lo mein. I am very disappointed as I was really hungry. Everything tasted the same. The fried rice had no flavor! I m assuming the great reviews is due to customer service, I decided to order from this restaurant due to high ratings. I will not be returning. Oh and my home now has a burnt food smell!

Fresh ingredients and made to order. So many places make large batches and just let the food set and serve. This place made the food to order so the chicken wasn t spongy and the breading was still crisp with the sauce. It s well worth the small wait for good quality. The packaging was also so much better than most places. The foil wrapped dishes in the containers kept everything hot and didn t melt the styrofoam.
